I have a Mercedes Sprinter desiel van outfitted as a Roadtrek camper. Henry's Auto Repair did a great job figuring out several problems with my van--including the damm sensors. It says something about their incredible integrithy that they referred me to Mercedes to get them fixed for free. They also figured out that I had rodent infestation that affected my DEF tank--and they dealt with the insurance company. I absolutely love and trust them read more

Henry's did a great job working on my 2005 Sprinter. They were fast, efficient and accommodating!

Really chill. Resolved the problem in one day. Worked on my 1984 325e. Very transparent with all the tests they did as well as the price quotes. Easy to communicate with. They did not price gouge. You get what you pay for if you want professional service. read more

Old owners have retired recently. Sergio is the new owner who took over. He was fair and honest in his diagnostics of my car. He made good effort to let me know what was possibly wrong with my car. He texted and called me too! I liked that he communicated with me every step of the way. If I ever have issues with my car again, I know Sergio can be trusted with my car. Btw, if you are local they provide pick up and drop off too! Don't forget to go on Yelp and get 5% off your 1st service ! read more

Henry's Auto Repair Service - My van run like a champ - Auto Repair Near Me - Whittier, California

We had our GL450 in for several services involving the cooling system, front suspension and tires. We spent over $12,000. After all that, they told me we needed more service on the cooling system. I decided to get a second opinion and that shop said no further repair was needed on that issue. We had the car in Coachella valley this week and the rear suspension failed. We were fortunate we were able to get to the shoulder safely. It would seem like some signs of extreme wear would have been evident, especially with the front suspension work that Henry's did. No recommendations were made on this issue. We had the car towed to a trusted shop in Palm desert. They noted that one lug nut was completely missing and the rest were loose (all 4 wheels!). This could have resulted in a tragedy if the suspension hadn't failed before the wheels fell off. I had just bought 4 new tires from Henry's. I called and explained this to Sergio. He told me they tighten the lugs to factory specs. I had to tell him that they obviously didn't do that this time. At the end of the call I paused to see if an apology was forthcoming. None was until I pointed this out. The main thing of course is to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. We won't be back to Henry's. read more

Never again! I took my Mercedes to get an estimate? They had it for over 7 hours and never even got a chance to look at It?? said, they were backed up?? Now, Why would you take the vehicle! If you knew you were backed up that far back !! I was there at 4 PM and they close at 5pm ..... Wasted an entire day !!! ..... Sergio the owner obviously took no accountability! Unbelievable Management BS incompetent service!!!! It's obvious that a diagnosis and or work that needed to be accomplished on this vehicle would be done at 5 PM ! BUYER BEWARE!!! read more

Took My GLC300C4 for service very satisfied with Sergio and his team they took good care of my baby . Dealers prices r extremely high now for service . So glad I found Henry's I Healy recommend Henry's read more

We were very disappointed by the whole service, got told we were a "pain in the a**". Of course we are, because it's our car that they messed up and created problems that weren't there before. Add that to the lack of transparency and honesty...not good. Bad service. read more

When my mechanic retired, I stumbled onto this shop. So far Henry's has treated me and my vehicles (BMW) to the top notch service. They truly are the best in european car maintenance and I've been to 15 different shops. Hopefully they expand because they are honest/transparent with cost and deserve everyone's business. I Will be a life time customer for sure! Prop to Sergio, brandon and the other amazing auto techs. read more

I have had a great experience at Henry's. I took my BMW road ster in for repair. I got a call back within 2 hours after dropping it off for what was needed and a estimate and my car was ready in 2 days. Kim is not only very nice and honest but very knowledgeable about car repair. I HIGHLY recommend Henry's and be sure to ask for Kim. I have taken my BMW there twice now. read more

Local, honest, fair price what more can you ask for? Got a Hyundai 2019 Santa Fe and it was making a knocking noise underneath. Called Hyundai dealers in the area and not a one could get my car in until a month or more later. So I decided that best bet was to find a local garage. Dropped the car off and the next day it was fixed! Definitely recommend this business. read more

These guys are awesome. Sergio helped me with my 2008 BMW. He was very thorough, always showing me pictures and kept me updated. The best part of all is that I really felt they were trustworthy and didn't feel like I was being ripped off. Super professional . read more

Responding to the rebuttal below. To my last review.. Sergio, this Doesn't explain why you decided to not tell me my car was smoking after I dropped it off?? You said you saw it on Saturday but told me Tuesday and said " didn't tell you cause I didn't want to ruin your weekend" that sounds fishy???? You think I'm gonna not have questions after that?? And be pretty upset . Maybe you know about cars, but that ain't the way you want to handle the business behind it all My son wanted the keys to be able to tow the car off your lot after we drove it on and you gave him a hard time about it lolol. Either way hope the best for you and the business . just be more straight up next brotha. Took it somewhere else for more money hope car is fine. No hard feelings but don't act like NOT TELLING a customer there car is smoking is the right move.. lol live and learn just be more transparent next time and I wouldn't question you. read more

I brought my mini Cooper in for an engine issue, my car lost significant power and on idling, my car would shake. This is the second shop I brought my car for a quote, The first shop ( ten four) I brought my car too, they quoted me for a new engine. They stated my engine was blown due to I lost compression on one of the cylinders. They quoted me for a new engine + installation up to $8000. Henry's diagnose the issue and found my car simply needed a tuneup, I got my mini Cooper back and my car runs great with no check engine light staring at me. This was my first time at Henry's, they seem like a family operated shop, their prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this shop to anyone. read more

Best customer service in Whittier!!!! Took my 1999 Mercedes Benz for a tune up. All was good except one part hard to find due to year of car. Sergio, James and crew did not disappoint. Took my wife's CLK 350 to Henry's for the first time and talk about thorough and knowledgeable! Kim knows her stuff! She went over the service in detail explaining what's what and how this part does this and etc. She let me know some of the concerns she had for the car on things I should consider in future repairs, but never felt pressured to do the service now. What I was most impressed with was how fast they were. Under the care and direction of Master Mechanic, Tony Finch, his techs performed mechanical magic. I pulled in at 8:10am got Service A done, had 4 cam/crank sensors replaced, expansions valve covers replaced, air filter and cabin filter replaced and they ran a diagnostic on the whole car. I was back on the road no later than 12:30! Car runs great, no more oil leak, no more check engine line and yes, I would highly recommend this shop to everyone. read more

I really wish I lived closer to this repair shop! They came highly recommended by another shop that couldn't do the job I needed done. I had an engine swap from one w124 ( '94 E320 ) to another. Their price was competitive, but their service was above all places I've been to. Very trust worthy and I loved that they treated me like a friend. I had some $$ issues and they were willing to work with me, but I was able to work it out in the end and get them paid fully when the service was complete. I was satisfied with their work then...and the car is still in great working order since they worked on it. Would return in a heartbeat. read more

I can't express how grateful I am to Kim and the mechanics here. I brought my car in desperately thinking I had a bad transmission. I couldn't get out of first gear. They were so busy but still looked at the situation and found that a plug was saturated in oil and shorting out. They didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need and I was out of there in a couple hours. I bring my car here for regular service and for brakes and they are always so good to me and my car.
