For my car, there is a tiny ding on the right rear fender. I got a few quotes before going with Jose, but his price was the lowest. He came out and let me know exactly what needed to be done to access the dent and pop it out. Since it involved opening panels and removing the rear taillight, I decided not to proceed with the repair. Jose couldn't have been nicer or more understanding about this. He didn't even charge me for coming out, and didn't seem disappointed at all about me not proceeding. This is the true mark of a great businessman who understands customer service! He also gave me a referral for someone to help do some touch-up paint work for a couple chips in my hood. I hope I don't get any more dents, but if I do and they're in a more accessible location, I'll be sure to reach out to Jose and JL Dent Removal!

The car was able to be fixed, but I feel like the overall work wasn't as great as I would like. The car was inspected the same day I sent a request and worked on the day after. Rick was really knowledgeable and give me a a reasonable quote compared to other places I had contacted. When discussing paint, I let him know I had paint on hand and asked if he could test it prior to putting it on the car to see if it was a good match. We tested it on a piece of cardboard, and he said that the paint was good to use. After the car was painted, we found out the match was not great and that I was liable since we used my paint. We were able to fade in the middle after I requested it so you can't tell too much from the back, but the color difference is noticeable from the side. Aside from poor color match, there was residual paint on my fog lights and the car that was difficult to remove afterwards. The overall experience was quick but a little rushed. Rick said that he would repaint the bumper if I buy another can of paint, however he did not give me a quote for how much. When I asked if he could buy the paint to avoid a color mismatch, he just said that I could buy it, and to contact him if I want it repainted.

I also have documentation of this communication. This review reflects a gap between initial communication and follow-through. I haven't done a full exterior house paint job before so I made sure to get at least one other quote. Buddy Paint's estimate was about 20% higher, but I still decided to go with Buddy's because of the 5-Year material & labor warranty (the other company did not offer any warranty) and the feedback from the customer I spoke to. I also felt like Robert would take care of us. The crew was friendly and efficient. They prepped the home well. Robert was responsive when we told him of a few spots that needed extra attention. There was one issue (accidental damage) that I wish would have been proactively handled. But Robert worked with me to resolve to our satisfaction. Overall, we love the new look of of our home. Fred helped me out - he was very friendly and non-intimidating (great for a gal going to an auto shop by herself!) He explained that Tesla tires have some foam, so patching the tire for the nail he found would be $50. It was nice he took the time to explain why it was a certain cost, def appreciated. They have a really nice waiting area with seating + strong AC (it was a hot summer day in LA), I was really impressed. Paid by cash because there's a small fee for credit card. 100% recommend this spot - friendly and service was quick. I was in and out fasttt!
