It's hard to put into words how much we appreciate Porsche Irvine. This dealership was not around when we bought our first Macan (shout out to Walter's/Riverside Porsche!) but since it is now the most local to us, we stopped by this dealership first when we decided to check out the Macan EV. The car buying experience was smooth with our salesperson, Larry. There was the usual haggling over prices, but no major issues. We walked away thrilled with the car, which drove like a dream. Interestingly, when that dream fell apart, that's when Porsche Irvine really shone bright. I firmly believe that a company's true nature shows itself when there are challenges. In our case, we ended up facing the most issues we've ever had with a car -- which seemed to be an isolated case for the model -- and Porsche Irvine provided the best customer care we've ever experienced through this whole time. From the knowledgeable and patient service advisors (Thomas, Jay, and Dean) to the incredible customer experience manager (Jeff) to the friendly and honest sales team (David and Roy), every last one has been attentive, efficient, understanding, and kind. They've kept us constantly informed of repair progress and have given us earnest guidance on next steps. Most people would have walked away from Porsche after experiencing the issues we had with our car. Instead, the team at Porsche Irvine have earned our loyalty for life and have given us the confidence we need to give the Macan EV another try in the new model year. We're not high rollers and I'm a woman - automatically making me especially prime material for being ignored, gaslit, or "little-womaned" in a place like this. But the team are so welcoming and inclusive and treat everyone who walks in their doors with the utmost respect. I've know of a past employee that sued them because he was fired because he was told to charge customers for services that they didn't even need. Great service department but sales is a zero. They gave me an allotment of a 2026 Porsche GTS. When it came time to approve everything, I called them and the manager was supposed to call me back. They obviously found somebody who is going to give them over MSRP and they failed to call me back after a couple calls and a manager named Eric never got back to me. Bought a Porsche from here already Porsche Macan s.. got a bonus check and wanted to get another toy. I been here for 20 mins no help. Everyone looked at me and just walked by didn't say anything.. girl at the front desk is just playing her music on her AirPods with her hair down so nobody can see she has AirPods. I approached her and asked her about an electric vehicle that was on the show floor first she pulled out her AirPods and asked me what did I say so I repeated it and she said she doesn't know anything about the cars let me get somebody for you. I told her don't worry about it. I'm over it. The fact that she watched me walk thru the front door and never welcomed me is outrageous. Before I even came into the dealership, the mechanics were walking out of work. I'm assuming they already clocked out, but these guys greeted me more than the people inside that are supposed to be selling the cars. The mechanics were very laid-back and actually had a conversation with me before even walking in to Porsche. Overpriced Our assigned Service Adviser Mason Gilchrist was very delightful and the service department itself was beautiful. However the low rating is from the incredibly high Repair Estimate that would make anyone fall off there chair. As a new acquired Porsche customer buying a Used Macan, we thought the level of repairs wouldn't be that substantial, over Audi and BMWs, as we have owned those brands. It was a little bit of an insult showing us a bill worth $27K, when the car itself is probably worth $15-$18K. In Essence the service tech could of just quoted us a new macan engine for that price, with repair estimate of $27K for oil leaks. Thanks for completing the 2 Safety recalls nevertheless, but the service itself definitely tainted the Porsche brand, especially from a new customer excited to own such a iconic brand. read more

Definitely one of the worst customer services I have experienced in recent years with ANY businesses. I bought a new 911 GTS and went in for just an oil change after my first 1000 miles a few weeks back. (Ungodly long in-take process and vehicle retrieval/payment process this time) Since then, I have noticed that the oil level displayed in the vehicle to be around 60% when the engine is cold and around 70% when the engine is hot. Clearly, they messed up the oil change. I have contacted the service department on 4 occasions - every other day over the course of 2 weeks - requesting my service advisor to call me back to determine next steps. I was told he would contact me back within a couple of hours every time I called ... but he never did. After my 4th call, extremely upset about such lack of customer service, I decided to escalate to management. I found the email address of the service manager (Rick Gutierrez) on their web site and sent an email detailing my experience and disappointment. Guess what? The service manager hasn't bothered to respond to my email either. I suppose team member's professionalism reflects on the example set by their leader, as they say... I now understand why my family members and people in my firm have advised me to switch to Porsche NP as they have. They noted Porsche NP isn't great but definitely a step above Irvine. I have been customer in Irvine for about 10 years and currently have 3 cars being serviced there ... and their customer service has noticeably gone downhill in the past couple of years. Ironically, I literally just received a SMS from them reminding me to bring in one of my other cars for its 3rd year service! LOL...Really!?! read more

Took our Macan in for its first complimentary service at Porsche Irvine, and let me just say -- if this is what car maintenance feels like, I might start inventing problems just to come back. Jay, our service advisor, was the MVP. He was so thorough, I half expected him to offer me a progress report with a video of his technician POV walkthrough and a TED Talk. He kept us updated every step of the way through text and honestly felt more like a long-lost friend who just happens to love Porsches. Meanwhile, Cedric in parts? A legend. Not only did he help us choose between coffee mugs and customizable Porsche Irvine water tumblers like a personal hydration stylist, but he made sure we left with more Porsche swag than we planned for. The service department was so clean I was afraid to breathe too heavily, and the amenities were top-tier featuring Nespresso coffee and snack samples as if we're shopping in Costco. I visited Porsche Irvine to get my car serviced and while waiting, I had coffee and a croissant and looked around the showroom. Since it is a high-end car dealership, the customer service is excellent. The Cayman 718 GT4 RS and 911 GT3 RS models in the showroom looked awesome but high-priced, so I don't really want to own them, but I would like to drive them if I get the chance. lol Buying a car is important, but after buying a car, maintaining it is even more important. Mr. Vincent Wu at the Service Department is professional and friendly, so he makes customers want to come back for the next service. This is an amazing Porsche dealership in Irvine and the show room is gorgeous! I was here for an unofficial Yelp event tonight and they did a great job! Ashley was one of the people in charge and she was very organized. They had a few booths with mixologists serving exotic cocktails and some tasty treats! They had a really cool silent auction with a lot of sports memorabilia that was reasonably priced. I like the charcuterie cart in the VIP area and ate a lot of grapes and pistachio nuts. read more

Made appointment for 9:30 on a weekday, came in a few mins early to be on time but waited for 40 mins and the explanation was there were 2 walkins, so what's the point of appointment system, you should say first come first serve then like a nail place. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS DEALER. My wife and I purchased a certified pre-owned Macan in December 2024. We added a Term Protection Plus service contract with optional brake and rotor coverage at a cost of several thousand dollars. Fast-forward to October 2025 - took car to Porsche San Diego for brake service and oil change. Our service contract was not "in the system" so no coverage. After speaking to "Kevin" in Finance at Irvine, he sent a new contract to me - said it was a clerical error and would be fixed. After signing new contract, it was not put into the system either. As of today (I called Porsche Protection) we cannot use this maintenance contract because it is not in the computer system and there has been no explanation why not from the dealer - yet they still have my money. I have spoken to three people (including Jeff Tuazon, Customer Experience Manager) at this dealer and the problem has not been resolved, nor have they called me to explain the situation or offered any compensation. read more

The car is amazing and has practically every option available and is damn near mint condition. I even spoke with this persons manager. Nothing. No response. Then I call back and they said they had some coming in and would send me the order sheet, but again, nothing.... I was trying to be a good customer and to stay with them long term to do service, etc. and to build a good long term relationship, but they are terrible and apparently don't care about these relationships with potential long-term.
