Stay away from this place (and Newport Lexus) and take your business elsewhere! The sales people and managers here are by far the most dishonest and lowest scam artists that we have ever met in our lives. They have just completely ruined our family's Christmas. We live in San Diego, and we were looking to buy a Lexus as our family Christmas present. We found on the Internet that Tustin Lexus happened to have the vehicle with the exterior and interior colors that we were looking for. The salesman at their dealership whom we were put in touch with was Alex Kim. We negotiated the price on the phone with this salesman for a couple of days, and we were offering them $51,000 to buy the vehicle. On Christmas Eve, Alex suddenly called us and said he got great news and he can now sell the car to us for $49,999, and that's $1000 lower than what we were hoping to pay! He asked us to drive to Tustin immediately to sign all the paper work. But it's an hour drive to go up there, and it was Christmas Eve, we wanted to make sure he wasn't lying to us before we made the drive. So we asked him again and again if the price was real, if it had been approved by the manager, and even called him one more time to confirm the price after we started driving up. Every single time, he said "I would not lie to you, yes, the manager gave me the price of $49,999." But after we arrived at the dealership and test drove the car with the salesman Alex Kim, once we started to do the paperwork, a different person (supposed to be the finance manager) showed up and said he had never heard of the price Alex told us, and the approved price is $52,000! We were absolutely shocked and couldn't believe what was happening!! So we asked to have Alex Kim come back to the room to tell this manager what he had told us over and over on the phone, shamelessly, this manager said "Alex will not come back in this room any more because I'm handling everything from here". So we ran out of the room to find Alex to confront him. When Alex saw us, he immediately turned around and ran off like he had just seen ghosts! When we shouted his name asking him to come back, another sales manager, Bradley Grebel came over. Now he put on a completely new game: He said he had no problem with selling the car to us for the 49,999 that Alex promised us, but because the address we used on the application and the address we have on my drivers license are not the same, he could not sell us the car, or he would be arrested by the police! He said he needed utility bills to confirm my address. So I immediately called my father to take pictures of our utility bills to show him. But now Bradley said "No, even if your father sent pics of your bills, it's too late in the day to sell you the car today. Please leave. We will be open again on Monday." So there we were, with my 5 year old son crying, on Christmas Eve, kicked out of Tustin Lexus, standing in the cold, more than an hour away from home, with our Christmas dream of driving that shiny new vehicle home completely shattered by this group of dishonest and heartless salesman Alex Kim, finance manager and Bradley Grebel... I just couldn't believe that these people were as low as they were, so low that they were willing to make such a big lie to us and make us drive more than an hour, on Christmas Eve, to come to their dealership, just to be scammed by them. Our Christmas was completely ruined by these people! But that was not even the end of it, their lies continued. When kicking us out of the dealership, Bradley Grebel had given us his business card with the price "51,000-1000(cash reward from Lexus Corp)" written on it, and said "Just email me your utility bills, and this is the price you will get the car for. I will deliver the car down to San Diego on Monday no problem!" But guess what? Bradley answered my call once on Monday at 9:30am and said he couldn't talk to me at the time, but after that, the whole dealership "could not find where he is" ever again! These low and dirty tricks that Tustin Lexus is willing to use on people to sell their vehicles for more dollars really need to be exposed, so that people can stay away from their business (and Newport Lexus which is owned by the same people). Our next step is to contact a local television station to air "Our Christmas tragedy at Tustin Lexus". read more
