Car value calculation on the website
    Sergey A.

I want to share my experience with this Ford dealership to warn other buyers. Before visiting the dealership, I used their official website to calculate financing for a 2025 Ford Explorer. The website clearly showed all available incentives applied, including $6,000 in discounts, 2.9% APR, and a specific monthly payment. I even took screenshots of the offer. However, when I arrived at the dealership, I was told that the pricing shown online was a "mistake" and that they could not honor those numbers. Instead, they offered a completely different price. When I said the new numbers didn't make sense, they suggested a "great lease deal" instead. I asked them to bring me the lease terms in writing. The offer they presented was over $700 per month for 4 years on a vehicle priced around $43,000. Over four years, the total lease payments would almost cover the full cost of the vehicle, which did not seem reasonable at all. I strongly encourage anyone considering this dealership to carefully review all numbers and calculate everything yourself before signing anything. If this kind of situation happens, it means some customers may unfortunately fall into it. Be careful and double-check all offers.

    Communication with Brandon (sales rep)

I recently purchased a used Nissan Rogue from AutoNation in Tustin and had a very disappointing experience immediately after the sale. I worked with Brandon, and I didn't leave with the vehicle until after 8:00 PM the night of purchase. On the drive home, I realized the brake lights were not working, which made the vehicle unsafe and illegal to drive. I brought the car back the following day to have the brake lights repaired, and it wasn't ready until the end of the day, when I picked it up around 8:00 PM again. That essentially used up two days of the courtesy return period right away due to an issue that should have been caught before the car was sold. Once I was able to get an independent inspection, the mechanic documented additional problems including a worn tie-rod end and a rear shock absorber leaking oil. I reported the findings promptly and provided documentation and photos. The dealership's response was that the issues were "not safety-related" and that the car could be driven "for a long period without issue." Instead of taking responsibility for repairs that should have been identified during the pre-sale inspection process, I was offered a reduced repair quote from $2,500 to $1,600, leaving me to cover a significant amount out of pocket. I chose to buy from a dealership rather than a private seller because I expected a higher standard of inspection and accountability. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience here. I strongly recommend buyers get an independent inspection immediately and ensure any issues are addressed in writing right away.

Paloma, Robert and Rana made it a pleasant and efficient buying experience. I was able to find my son a 2021 Bronco Sport in great condition and price. My son is very happy which is what you want as a parent. The dealership also offered a great price on a warranty and maintenance package which will keep the car in great condition. I highly recommend buying from Autonation Ford Tustin.

This repair center sucks avoid at all cost. My e150 van has been here for over a month the service advisor Tony doesn't feel the need to give you updates. Tells you one thing then you contact him and he doesn't return your calls or text for a couple days. Doesn't give you status updates unless you ask. This is very unethical. Then blames the tech being out till a certain day then says parts haven't come in when the week prior stated they would be there that week.

I inquired about a car here, then was greeted by a saleswoman Karen on the phone when I called. She said the car was sold, then said she'd help me find another car of that same type. She then texted me, asking for what I was looking for...this is what happened directly after what I told her I was looking for. She either: a) read what I wanted, said fuck that, and suggested her own cars with her own criteria...or b) didn't read what I wanted and suggested other cars with her own criteria. I don't blame her for trying to do her job, I'm just irritated that you said you'd help me, then decided to be thirsty and try and get a quick sale. Use this as a reference for what kind of "salesperson" they have here. They don't want to help you. They want a sale. They're starving for them. Go elsewhere

Text exchange with Mona. She is right after all, guys in the car business can and will say anything and everything.

This review is for the riverside location. Autonation "we'll buy your car" riverside. I was in the process of selling my car and had already gotten an offer from CarMax, which was a solid and straightforward experience. Since then, a few other dealers reached out with slightly higher offers, and I even got a private offer that beat those. So I wasn't really planning to drive down to AutoNation Riverside based on their initial offer. After a phone call with Nico, who is Mona's manager, I felt reassured enough to consider it. He told me he respected my time, that he wouldn't waste it, and that he'd do his best to get me a better offer. I made it clear that coming down would be inconvenient and that I'd be driving over an hour after work. He told me he doesn't get paid based on the price and that he was going to try to help me out. I got there. Mona met me, was friendly, and took the car for a quick test drive. When we came back, she and I walked inside while Nico and another gentleman stayed outside with my car. That already felt a little strange, it was dark out and they stayed outside the whole time. Then I overheard a phone call between Nico and Mona. I heard Nico ask if she was on speaker. She said no. He then told her to tell me one number and submit another. While I understand I might've misheard the exact numbers, what stood out was the part where he asked about speaker and then gave two different instructions, one to tell me, and one to submit. That didn't sit right with me, especially after how the conversation had gone earlier on the phone. I waited there a while, and eventually they both came back in. Neither Nico nor the other guy said anything to me. They just walked off to the other side of the room and continued doing their thing. I ended up leaving. The next day, they sent me an offer that was worse than any other dealer, including the original one from CarMax. So yeah, unfortunately, I do feel like my time was wasted. Maybe others will have a better experience. Mona was professional and kind throughout and was just doing her job. But I wouldn't recommend working with Nico based on how my visit played out.

Took my time to shop around for the right vehicle. Anthony in sales was the first to reach out to me. From start to finish he was a true professional. Not pushy, not flooding me with messages and making the entire process smooth. There was a little back and forth on negotiation but that's expected (its sales). I ended up getting a Ford Bronco Big Bend. Super happy with the vehicle and the service I got.

Now that I'm reading all these reviews, I'm wondering who they dealt with. I visited for Tustin about four months ago today is October and I met gentleman named Mark Serrato. It was Mark's first month working as a dealership, and he was eager to give us the service, but we could clearly tell that he was not fully trained or fully knowledgeable. He gave us his business card, which was somebody else's and he scratched the person's name and put his name on it. What I did like about Mark was that he was honest and was very nice. Three months later, I have his business card and I come back and look for him. I told him I told you I would come back. He was so excited and after the sale he told me that that was his first Raptor he has sold. Anyhow, the experience was great and overall, my husband is enjoying his purchase. Thanks again Ford Tustin.

My husband took the day off work and drove 5 hours from the Bay Area with the title, determined to get it sold and removed the same day. We called every "cash for cars" place in Santa Barbara and surrounding area. Most promised same-day pickup... but each time we'd find out it would be days to actually schedule a truck. Hours were ticking by, and we were concerned, needing to take care of this before the storage yard closed. I called Carstub and got Sergio. He saved the day. Within the hour, he found someone who wanted the car for parts, negotiated a fair price for us, and got a flatbed driver dispatched that same afternoon. The truck showed up exactly when he said it would, paid us cash on the spot, and took the car away, Sergio turned a day that felt hopeless into a huge relief. He didn't have to go this far above and beyond, but he did. If you're stuck with a damaged or totaled car and need it gone FAST, call Carstub, Sergio was great. Thank you again.
