Really delicious, authentic South-east Asian restaurant. Every dish I have tried has been delicious, fresh, large portion, and very authentic. The Hainanese chicken and rice takes me back to the hawkers and food courts of Singapore. The garlic pepper pork is flavorful, juicy, and cooked to perfection, with a healthy coating of seasonings and aromatic garlic. The five-spice roast chicken is subtly sweet, savory, and comforting - really delicious. The dishes are all served with a home made chili sauce, which varies according to the dish and flavor profile. Each one is amazing, and you can tell the chef really put a lot of effort into crafting the delicious sauces. The dishes come with a healthy portion of flavorful white rice (cooked in home made chicken stock and spices). They are served with a bowl of delicious home made chicken stock, coupled with a couple slices of tender winter melon. Overall, it is an excellent new restaurant for the Orlando foodie scene. Good Hainan chicken rice has been trending in cities like San Francisco and Nyc for a while now, it is about time Orlando has caught up! Really recommend giving it a try. Mengs kitchen is an amazing place to get Thai food. This ghost kitchen is located inside of uroll sushi. The chef AJ is amazing at cooking and such a great person. Many of his dishes are based off of food that he used to make with his parents growing up in Thailand. I tried two chicken and rice platters and a soup. Everything was incredible and I will be back. To me, a white girlfriend of a Thai dude, their food was amazing, but to my boyfriend, this place is his new favorite place: the staff are so incredibly sweet, the food is out in a matter of minutes, and he says it takes him right back to when he was little. I love ordering food from this little place. I've only ever stopped by once to pick up and the staff were really nice, otherwise it's all been delivery and it's never once disappointed. The flavors are truly on point and I have a few favorites such as the hainan chicken and rice and crispy pork belly with the cucumber salad. My only comment would be I wished they offered more vegetable options or even included a side of vegetable with all of their plates. I have tried their steamed veggies and while it tastes good, I would love to see other options as I love to have vegetables with all my meals. Also, please more spice levels! My husband and I were wanting to try Hainanese chicken as my attempts at making it has been ok. So I did a Google search for the best Hainanese chicken and this restaurant came up. I decided to order delivery and ordered two other items: Five aw spiced braised pork and Massaman beef. I came downstairs and to my surprise, my 18 month old son was enjoying the pork! My husband said the moment he was fed the pork belly, he SMILED! Back to the Hainanese chicken, the rice was the star and the chicken was tender. The accompanying sauce was very tasty. (7/31/2022) came to do routine grocery shopping at iFresh, Meng's took over the spot where Kai Kai Dim Sum used to be, inside the grocery store. Meng's bills itself as Southeast Asian comfort food. We had been missing the convenience of a Chinese "butcher" shop, and Meng's had a small (very small) selection, like 1 chicken, 2 slabs of crispy pork belly, an a few pounds of roasted pork loin. I got both to try, and these tasted fine, but not really Cantonese-style, if that's what you're expecting. The chef here is from Thailand. Roasted pork was a bit on the dry side, definitely very lean ($13/lb.). Crispy pork belly had a very hard crackling crust with a very thick layer of fat underneath. Got the Thai Grilled Pork Chop Box and a Hainan-style Chicken Rice Box to go. These were fine, also, box was mostly rice, flavors very mild. Best tasting thing I think was the ginger scallion sauce. The wait for the to-go orders was rather long, like 20 minutes. read more

I never know there is a Singaporean place inside "U Roll Sushi" until today. There is no sign outside on the building. The Hainanese chicken rice is delicious. The roasted chicken is tasty. The grilled pork is phenomenal with the dipping sauce. All rice dishes come with soups. Make sure you order online ahead of time. read more

Meng's Food is the worst international food I've ever had, I should've not eaten here even in the first, the moment I saw it wasn't even a restraunt and was in a sketchy market I should have backed off and if that wasn't enough their Tom kha kai soup tasted like lemon blended with bleach. If your trying to get botulism, this would be the place. I don't even know how this place is still open from the amount of health standereds that are being constantly violated here. read more

My family traveled to Orlando for a few days, after eating so much fast food, we craved for some rice dishes. As a fan of Hainanese chicken we had to try Mengs Kitchen based on the reviews. We ordered 2 Hainanese chickens, a chicken biryani, a beef curry and a grilled pork, $10 each. They all come with sauces and melon soups. I enjoy the Hainan chicken, it's is very good, tender and juicy, however a good dipping sauce will compliment this dish and bring it to the next level. I didn't love the sauce though, maybe I was expecting a garlicky ginger scallion sauce that I always have from authentic Malaysian restaurants like Penang from Philly or NYC. The beef curry is delicious and the chicken biryani and grilled pork were good but not excellent. The portions are generous given the price and they come with small soup. One thing to notice is This is a GHOST kitchen so you won't see their sign if you're looking for one. The restaurant is Uroll Sushi. :) We didn't know and kept driving around to look for the sign and Google map kept taking us back to Uroll Sushi lol. Overall I'd recommend this restaurant if you like Hainan chicken. The owner is nice and friendly and I'd love them to have more customers taste their delicious food. read more
