Walking into Thai Thani put me right back on the streets of Phuket Thailand. The inside is decorated so authentically. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and seated. We asked to move to a larger table because we knew we would be ordering various dishes and would need space to dig in. The chicken laab, and soup were a 10 out of 10! Both dishes were extremely flavorful and delicious. Both noodle dishes and the fried rice were good as well. I love love spice so I was surprised that although I ordered the dishes to be "Thai hot" spice level, they weren't that spicy. When I'm in the mood for Thai, I will be back.
This place was recommended. I had high hopes. The restaurant inside is immaculate and Thai themed everywhere. Service was prompt and helpful. ... But the reason we come is the food. My order was beef in red curry. The beef was minimal and very chewy. I expected spicy but it was bland for a Thai restaurant. The highlight of the food was the rice. Also pretty pricey. Lots of free parking and great location.
I need to go back here!! Duck noodle soup - yummmm. Right amount of spiciness. Duck meat is not gamey. Rice noodle is firm and not mushy. Mango sticky rice was soooo good! Soft sticky rice and sweet mango. The staff in the restaurant are all Thai so I can see the authenticity of this cooking. When visiting Orlando, I need to go again! You will see me.
EDITED - After a few hours, I returned to my leftovers and WOW, I was wrong wrong wrong. I raised it to 4 stars. Like a soup or stew that tastes better the next day after, my "Salmon Glory" was pretty amazing. I had submerged the overdone fish in the sauce which helped. ______ This lovely restaurant is worth visiting, although my review may seem like I am suggesting the opposite. Thai Thani took my breath away with the incredible decor reflecting the culture and spirit of Thailand. It is worth visiting for the visual experience alone. The staff are super attentive and helpful. The food is why I rated them a 3. I truly enjoy Thai food and I seek out Thai cuisine wherever I go. There was a lack of flavor in everything other than the Tom Kha Gai. The soup was thicker than I have experience in the past and the chicken in it had no flavor. The soup was so good, that it overcame the bland chicken. Usually, when I visit a Thai restaurant, I will order Massaman or Panang curry with tofu, veggie potstickers, and soup. In this case, I ordered a special salmon dish on the menu and I received an overdone fish with a bland sauce. Perhaps the Massaman curry would have been as flavorful as the soup. I am happy I came because just sitting there is an event, but I wish all parts of my 3-part meal were as incredible as the ambiance. Should you go? Yes. I recommend asking for spice. Perhaps they cater to their normal clientele who cannot handle any spice - like zero spice. The Tom Kha Gai suggests that they can bring the flavor. Maybe ask for the dishes other reviewers have loved.
All the curry What I got the Calamari appetizer which the calamari were okay, not the best. It was very chewy, not able to bite it in 2 pieces. I got the massaman special curry and had it customized with tofu and vegetables. This was good. You can select the spice level of the curry and to be safe, I got the regular which isn't as spicy. The rice I had that night wasn't as fluffy as I wanted it to be. Overall the meal was decent. The sauces were great, especially the pepper fish sauce.. sodium overload. Environment Located in a plaza, there are plenty of parking available outside. The inside is really nicely decorated, there is a lot going on. Very Thai, authentic. There is plenty of seating inside as well, table seating. The mood is not bright, great for dinners. Niceness of the staff Very nice staff and attentive. I was able to put in my order and get my order in the timely manner. I am not sure why I was given water without ice initially, but good to know it is an option. Dollar I thought it was quite expensive, the curry was 19$ and the calamari was 15$. Yes / No I am indifferent on this location, I wouldn't suggest here but I would be open to give it another shot for something else.
Thai Thani completely transports you to Thailand from the moment you step inside, with its stunning authentic décor creating an immersive dining experience. We arrived without reservations and were seated promptly. We began with the Tom Kha Gai soup, which had lovely flavor, though it arrived lukewarm rather than hot, which was a little disappointing. For our entrées, we ordered the curry roast duck and the Pad See Ew each were flavorful and satisfying, with well-balanced Thai seasoning. The true star of the night was the mango sticky rice dessert. It was absolutely outstanding and easily one of the best I've ever had!
Great Thai food is hard to come by today. Discovered Thai Thani many moons ago. This Thai restaurant is my go to if I want to pig out on Thai cuisine when i am spending time near Mickey Mouse's neighborhood. My instant cozy meal is usually Tom Yum and Coconut Soup, Potstickers, and Penang Curry Duck....so very yummy. See you soon...
Just ate at Thai Thani and it was a great experience. The food was delicious and the atmosphere felt very authentic which paired perfectly with the traditional dishes. The service was pleasant and quick. I tried the Phad See Ew and the Pepper Steak and both were excellent. I ordered my spice level hot and it was just right for me with a nice kick. If you do not care for spicy food you may want to choose a milder level. Everything I tried was really good and I would definitely recommend this location for authentic Thai cuisine.
We came to restaurant after a long day at Universal Studios at 9 pm. My wife was tired of all the theme park food. When we entered, the decor caught my attention. See the photos below. We eat Thai all the timein the DFW area. We ordered "Thai Level Spice". However, I think the spices were tame due to all the tourists visiting. We ordered Fried Spring Rolls and The Papaya Salad. It was tasty but nothing amazing. The Papaya Salad was mild in spice level at best. We also ordered The Chicken Pad Thai and Green Curry. Again, it was not very spicy which I understand with all the tourists visiting. But, we also thought the food was a little lacking in other Asian Spices such as fish sauce. We thought the food was OK and satisfied our craving for Thai Food. We weren't disappointed we went. Our server Narumom was not able to be as attentive since some other parties came in near closing but she did a good job given the circumstances. The previous review was less than stellar. It could be that the later you go, the food may be less fresh and tasty. If we are in Orlando again, we would probably try another Thai restaurant. But, it still worth a visit one time.
We tried this place for lunch for the first time while visiting Orlando. It has a very nice ambiance and you feel like taking photos of the decor. Service was quick too. We tried their appetizer sampler, chicken pad Thai, Massaman curry with chicken, and tofu fried rice. Everything was delicious but chicken satay in the appetizer didn't taste too fresh to me. But rest of the things like spring rolls were good. I really liked the chicken pad Thai and massaman curry. See photos of the food below. I would come back here to try other things on the menu.
Food: sooo good! Jumbo shrimp, Penang curry had lots of veggies: peppers, apps salmon egg roll, Rangoon, potstickers, chicken satay all perfect. Service: friendly available Ambiance: gorgeous!!

We loved this place so much we came back for lunch. The food is too good and full of flavor. The price is about $5.00 less and the menu a bit more limited. The portion less but just right. I now will be looking for the same experience.

Their customer service skills are beyond excellent at this location. Tom yum soup was to die for! Loved their steak platter! Banana dessert was light, sweet and satisfying. My waiter actually put my food into my to go boxes for me because I couldn't finish all my food. Such a nice guy! Very classy waiters here who have a passion and love for what they do!Ambiance was gorgeous, beautiful decorations, orientated towards Thailand. read more

In the Orlando area we are blessed to have multiple delicious Thai restaurants, but this one is my new FAVORITE! First of all, as soon as you step in, you feel like you have been transported to a shrine in Thailand. So many beautiful and authentic pieces, a lot also available for purchase. Next, the food selection is unparalleled; you can get anything here, and everything is reasonably priced. We went for the first time because it was near my friend's hotel; now we go back because we love it so much. It is a little bit of a drive from my house, but it is totally worth it. The servers are always very friendly and efficient. You can't go wrong with anything, but the pad see ew is the BEST! I honestly can't wait to go back! read more

I've been here a few times now and absolutely love each of my experiences here! The staff is always kind, helpful, and knowledgeable on the food and drink menus. The ambiance is something you have to experience in-person, its truly a work of art. The food always hits the spot and it's my favorite thai spot ever! The portions are massive as well, so it's perfect for large parties if you're into sharing dishes. I didn't snap a pic in time, but the garlic beef is stellar! We really enjoyed the food in the atmosphere here it was like we were transported to Thailand. The food was authentic and really good. I got the cashew curry with rice and chicken. It was out of this world delicious I really really enjoyed it and for dessert we got the coconut ice cream which had crushed peanuts and a sweet combination of all of the flavor and taste was outstanding. We will back be back here again to enjoy more dishes and try more desserts. Our server was very nice and attentive. They filled our water constantly throughout our meal. The only thing that I can see them fixing is the booths. They're falling apart a little bit, but the atmosphere is very well authentic Thailand. read more
As a single diner, I loved this place. Service was quick and friendly and the food was delicious. Not the most authentic, but dang good either way. I don't know what kind of magic is in the ginger peanut dressing but I'm addicted now so that's great. Be aware that the spiciness scale is on the lower end and order accordingly. Arrived here by coincidence in proximity to my hotel. I was quickly seated by the friendly, professional, quick, and helpful host. Inviting clear and clean ambiance. Very thai decor. There are plenty of options on the menu. Tried a few, and all were delicious. There is plenty of off street free parking lot. Good location. Great portions and value for the price. We went for happy hour and were not disappointed. It would have been nice to have an actual menu for happy hour instead of our server having to repeat the options. For those curious: $4 beer $6 wine $8 cocktail and select appetizer deals including the crab ragoon which were VERY good! It actually had filling and was more than fried wonton.
