We visited China Tea on a Saturday night after a long day at the parks. We called in our order but were never asked for a name or phone number--which left us a little confused. We were told it would be ready in 35 minutes, so we headed straight there. When we arrived, we noticed the dining area is closed and all orders are taken by phone only. At first, it felt odd because no one acknowledged us, and we thought the lady at the counter was being rude. But after watching a few people come and go, we realized she had a system--she doesn't talk to you until your food is ready and she calls out your order. Once we understood that, it made more sense, but it was definitely a little frustrating and confusing at first. Now, the food? Absolutely worth it. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. We ordered the special fried rice, chicken with mixed vegetables, pork egg rolls, and vegetable lo mein. My family and I enjoyed every bite, and it made up for the wait and initial confusion. Overall, the system takes some getting used to, but the food speaks for itself. Great flavor, worth the wait!

Heard good things about this place and finally decided to give it a try. Glad we checked online as we didn't know it was Take out only. (Neither did a lot of people who walked up while I was waiting!) . Called and ordered and waited about 10mins after I got there. The food was very very good. Just a little different from the usual Chinese places around. We loved the moo shu pork and pancakes. The Thai basil beef was also very good. We will be ordering again!

Your absolute best choice for a break from the mediocre overpriced choices in house at the nearby Rosen Shingle Creek Resort. Just know, you need to order by phone ahead of time, and it's take out only. There are three "workers" here but the woman who owns and runs it is the one doing 90% of the work. She answers the phone, takes orders, cooks, wraps the food, takes the payment in a whirlwind of activity. I was annoyed after walking in the August Orlando heat to get here to see a little paper sign on the door saying I had to order by phone. So I sat outside and ordered and the connection was less than perfect so I thought I heard her say my order would be ready in 5 minutes. After waiting longer than that I asked her how much longer my order would take. We got in a bit of an argument because she insisted she said 35 minutes and that it would be ridiculous for her to say five minutes because Chinese food takes longer than that. She was right so I shut up. I tell you this because I want you to understand how efficient she is. She argued with me while serving up 4 customers, cooking on a few different woks and dishing up rice from an enormous steamer, answering orders on the phone including one woman who had some really stupid questions, and she still won the argument with me. And I was really "hangry." So in addition to all her restaurant skills, she's good at arguing with me. Exactly 35 minutes from my phone call, my order was ready and it was good. We're not talking about authentic Chinese food, this is just very good American-Chinese food, the egg foo yung, egg rolls, are not just good, they are a good deal (for this overpriced area).

I have no idea what the rave reviews are all about. Went there yesterday and was rudely turned away because they do not take walk in orders and the wait would be 45 mins. I thought, wow the food must be that good. So I decided to try again another day and follow instructions by, calling in. I was deciding between two options and hade questions about one option. The lady got quite testy with me so I rapidly made a choice. Red flags all over the place but, I press on. Picked up the food and was waaay disappointed with the look of the food and let's just say....FLAVORLESS taste! The rice is to dark for my taste and throwing 4 shrimp on top to mk it shrimp fried rice (additional $4 on lunch orders), overcooked veggies on the kung pao chicken and the sauce that should be lighter reddish brown in color with ya know - FLAVOR! Not good, Not going back!

Takeout only place. Call ahead orders and it can be ready 15-25 later. Loved the Mongolian beef... chicken and broccoli was flavorful as well! Wontons were a little big for my taste and the spring roll was basic, light and crispy but nothing to write home about. The only thing I wouldn't get is the orange chicken. Sauce a bit thick for my taste.

Has in restaurant dining opened back up yet?

The last time I visited (September'23), it was still not open to in restaurant dining.

Any idea when they're opening back up? I need my China Tea fix!!!

China Tea is staying SAFE by continuing take-out only for the time being. This is a owner-operated business and they are staying safe for all by take-out. Once this pandemic has passed they should be able to do dine in again, but get ready for there…

From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and incredible aromas set the stage for a fantastic dining experience. I ordered a traditional beef pho with added oxtails, and it exceeded all expectations. The broth was rich, deeply flavorful, and clearly simmered with care for hours. Every spoonful delivered a perfect balance of savory spices and comforting warmth. The beef was tender ano plentiful, while the fresh herbs, bean sprouts, lime, and jalapeños allowed me to customize each bite exactly to my taste. I also added tendon which was so delicious and melted in your mouth! The portion size was generous, making it an excellent value, and everything tasted exceptionally fresh. I also tried a Vietnamese iced coffee, which provided the perfect sweet and bold complement to the meal. What truly stood out was the combination of authentic flavors, attentive service, and a relaxed atmosphere. Whether you're a longtime pho enthusiast or trying Vietnamese cuisine for the first time, this restaurant is well worth a visit. If you're in the Orlando area and looking for a comforting, flavorful meal, I highly recommend stopping by-you won't leave hungry, and you'll likely be planning your next visit before you even finish your bowl.

Then we had the C10 platter which is this steak platter with vegetables and rice and we also had the Pad Thai. The dishes were so flavorful and the portions are very generous. I honestly will need to come back because they have so many options, including hot pot. Service was so friendly, you literally feel right at home. First, the staff deserves credit--their energy and kindness were 10/10. The person I interacted with was friendly and welcoming. The food itself was good, but I was disappointed that my order was made incorrectly. I specifically asked for only tomatoes and pickles on my burger, but it came with cheese and a sauce. Luckily, I was planning to eat just the patty, so I was able to rinse it off, but if I had intended to eat it as a regular burger, it would have completely ruined the meal as the bun was covered in the sauce. My sub was excellent, and I appreciated the staff's sauce recommendations. However, I was surprised that the homemade sauce came with a $1.10 charge for each side of sauce--that feels pretty excessive. To make matters worse, I didn't even receive one of the sauces I paid for. I understand they are homemade but it is a 1.5 oz container... My biggest disappointment, though, was the chips. It may sound minor, but when a meal is priced and advertised as a complete meal, you'd expect a reasonable portion. The "side" of chips was literally about seven whole chips' worth, mostly crushed into pieces. It was especially disappointing when compared to the portion of fries. Overall, the food has a lot of potential, and the staff was fantastic, but the incorrect order, extra sauce charges, missing sauce, and tiny chip portion really took away from the experience. My advice: upgrade the chips so you actually get a side, double-check your order before you leave (even if there's no one else in there) , and be aware that the sauces cost extra.
