Spicy crispy beef with pork fried rice-- flavor ok, texture bad.
    Jennifer R.

Unfortunately I will not be buying from China Brother again. Although, the flavor of the food was decent (typical fast food Chinese)-- the textures and quality were NOT good. Spicy crispy beef was super chewy, sesame chicken and general tso chicken were stale &&& chewy... and egg rolls beyond greasy. The fried rice had hard and soft pieces in it... just not good. The saving grace was the wonton soup-- it was the best thing I ordered.

They have a really nice lunch combo. Less than $10 and you can choose a drink or egg roll. We always get to go and they're fast 15-20 min. And the food is always fresh and good. I got the bourbon, chicken and rice and an egg roll.

$9-10 per entree. Ordered to-go. The girl over the phone was very sweet and professional. When I came to pick up, I was greeted immediately upon entering. Our food was ready on time and she repeated the order again to confirm before paying. The restaurant is quaint, but I noticed it was very orderly and clean. Husband ordered General Tso with tofu instead of chicken. Brace yourselves. If you ever order the tofu...they are giant, beautifully sliced cubes. Flavor is pretty good! For the price, this place is great! My lo mein was simple, yet delicious. My husband and I both noticed the dishes weren't overly oily, which has been our issue with other Asian take outs. And I think because of that we didn't feel horrible afterwards! Definitely our new favorite Chinese take out. ;) Don't let the dated sign/small restaurant steer you away, it felt like a well-run family business.

OK well my go-to Chinese Restaurant which I thought was pretty decent unfortunately went belly up. They're still open but they seemed to have been sold to new owners and the decline in quality of the food was apparent. So, I lived without Chinese Food for a little while until one day I got the hankering for some good Chinese Food.. I had tried a few since and I was once bitten twice shy. I decided to consult the authority, YELP, in finding the best around me. I came across more than a few good reviews about "China Brother". The more I read , the more I got excited. So a little while back, I went ahead and ordered some staples. Sesame Chicken, House Special Lo Mein, Wonton Soup and Beef with Garlic Sauce. Sesame Chicken was good, they were quite accommodating with my preferences; not too much sauce. I don't enjoy drowned in sauce Sesame Chicken. The House Special Lo Mein was quite good. Nice portions and not oily at all! The Beef with Garlic Sauce was nice. Good amount of beef and nice flavor. So far it has been good! One thing that I had hoped for was for that NYC Style Wonton Soup that I have grown to love over the years. Their soup is good but there are some differences to what I've been used to , I expected big, thick wontons filled with meat but their wontons are half the size of what I am used to. I also enjoy the thick noddle wrapper that breaks away for that flavorful ground meat inside. And finally, aside from some little chopped greens inside , those with authentic NYC Wonton Soup would have small slivers of Roast Pork If their Wonton soup was like the above 5 stars! The folks on the phone, when I needed to call, are always hospitable and pleasant. The prices are reasonable. It's also nice to know that they are a family business. I have ordered from them since, at least 5 times. Some other dishes I have tried: The Shrimp with Lobster Sauce was good. They gave a good amount of shrimp The Singapore Mei Fun noodles are delicious. Curry infused, spicy noodles. As for the Korean Bulgogi, I made a pass. It was spicy and tasty but the beef was sliced thick and in slabs that is not the Bulgogi I am used to. Next Time I will try some other dishes. I found my Chines Food go to. I would recommend them!

Bourbon Chicken and Beef and Broccoli.

Bourbon Chicken and Beef and Broccoli. Really disappointed. We spent $27 for nothing. Flavorless the sauce tasted more like bbq than anything. Chicken definitely not seasoned. Rice has no salt. Took a bite and literally taste like nothing. Soup Was decent. Egg Rolls are okay. Service was good everyone was friendly. Would I recommend? Definitely not

All I can say, this place simply blew my mind!! I never expected this resto to be this GOOD! Came in around 7:15 pm and there's were a few people waiting and I signed up on their Yelp waitlist kiosk. But I got seated about 5-10 mins upon arrival. So when looked at the menu, they had 3 dishes that were Michelin guide recommendations. The first one is their wonton soup, the pan fried Peking duck buns and the steamed buns with bokchoy and mushrooms. So I was curious and had to order the wonton soup and since I love Peking duck, I ordered the buns. Here's my assessment: 1. Pork and shrimp wonton soup - 15/10 - the soup was pretty neutrally flavored but still good to my liking but oh boy, the wonton was out of this world!! It came with 6 large wontons, some bokchoy, seaweed and the broth. I always ask for chili oil and when I took a bite of the wonton, the sudden burst of deliciousness that I felt in my mouth was indescribable. Then I dipped the wonton in the chili oil and it added another layer of umami flavor. This is prolly my Top 2 wonton soup I've had in my life next to the one I've tried in Hongkong years ago!! Every wonton I ate the more I just want to eat more wontons . It's INCREDIBLE. 2. Pan fried Peking duck buns - 20/10 - this should be a Michelin star dish!! The bun was a little sweet, soft but that first bite felt like all my salivary juices just exploded. This is the BEST BAO BUN I've had in America. The most perfect combination of sweet, savory, salty, with a touch of five spice and a gastronomically out of bounds dish - It's UNBELIEVABLE!! Every customer should not leave this resto until they've tried this one!! Trust me, you may want to eat at least 4 pcs of this. I would have wanted to get 2 more but I was already full. 3. Steamed bokchoy with garlic - 10/10 - love the freshness of the bokchoy, well poached and the garlic was just enough that it was not overpowering yet it was garlicky. I wish we can have Kung Fu Kitchen in CA but I guess FL is more business friendly. They also have their sister flagship resto in NY!! So if ever you come to Disney World or Orlando for a work or business trip, pls do yourself a favor and make sure you put this resto as part of your itinerary!!!

It was a bit of a bummer since we were looking forward to enjoying them later. Even with that hiccup, the food was outstanding and definitely worth the visit. The place is elegantly decorated with an Asian theme. However, some of the benches attached to the booths had worn out upholstery. Our server, Yumi (spelling?) was polite and efficient. We had the salt and pepper squid appetizer. It was plentiful and great with the accompanying sauce. However, we didn't like the breading. And I dared to bite into one of the peppers that accompanied it and it set my mouth on fire. For dinner we had the Szechuan scallops and the XO fish. The scallops were tasty and the dish had lots of broccoli, peppers, and mushrooms. The sauce was a bit sweeter than we expected. The XO fish sauce was very similar to the Szechuan sauce and though the fish was a tad salty, it was still savory. The asparagus that accompanied that dish was chopped (easier to eat) and there were plenty of sweet snap peas and bell peppers. We adore snow pea tips and were in the mood for lots of veggies. So, we got an order to accompany our meals. We did take home most of it, along with lots of broccoli (for me) from the Szechuan scallops. We were treated to a complimentary Chinese-style dessert made with peeled split mung beans and thickened with tapioca starch into a gooey, translucent pudding that was served warm. Our meal of 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, 1 order of veggies, a pot of tea, tax, and tip was $138.

Ordered Jumbo Shrimp Pan Fried Noodle here $16.95 takeout. While waiting for the food. I was asking the gal behind the cash register if they have been busy lately with the Chinese BBQ and she stated this past weekend they were really busy. I then told her it's because Kai Kai owners left Kai Kai and sold it maybe to another owner but they no longer run Kai Kai. So as the conversation passes she told me - The Crispy pork they cook there is NOT ROASTED but FRIED. It was brought up because i was telling her a few people have said kai kai fell off as far as taste in the bbq / meats. So then I said yes the skin part is not crispy like how you guys do it. So she mentioned she wondered why they have been busy with Chinese BBQ meats as of lately. I ordered the $4.95 boba smoothie (mango) as a refresher because it is hot outside - For the price it is not bad I think they use mango puree as the base. The dishes here are delicious. This is why I keep coming back.

These legends welcomed our whole crew with zero wait like it was just another Tuesday--talk about VIP service. Now let's talk food. First up, the tofu and veggie stir-fry--a glorious mix of crispy tofu cubes with perfectly sautéed broccoli, carrots, and bok choy in a savory brown sauce that hugged every bite like a warm hug from a Chinese grandma. The beef with broccoli? Tender, flavorful, and bathed in rich umami goodness. Honestly, if I could bottle that sauce, I'd put it on everything--maybe even my cereal (don't judge). The Honey Walnut Shrimp was love at first crunch. Perfectly crispy shrimp in a creamy, sweet glaze topped with candied walnuts and nestled on a bed of fresh steamed broccoli. This dish was the Beyoncé of the table--everyone wanted a piece. Those crispy, golden Shrimp Ball Fritters? Imagine a crunchy sea urchin made of joy. Light, airy, and addictive--basically the potato chip of appetizers. The pan-fried dumplings were thick, juicy, and had the perfect crispy sear. No sad, soggy dumplings here. Then came the crispy duck--dark, rich, and bursting with deep roasted flavor. It had that satisfying crunch you want, and the meat melted in your mouth. A must for meat lovers. But the real MVP? Those soup dumplings. Steamy little flavor bombs that explode in your mouth like a culinary fireworks show. Served in their own mini tins like royalty--juicy, delicate, and impossible to eat just one. The table went silent the second they landed. That's how you know it's real. With quick service, huge portions, and a menu that hits every craving from noodles to dumplings to sizzling plates of joy, Peter's Kitchen China Bistro was the unexpected gem we didn't know we needed. Cozy, authentic, and efficient--this place made our group dinner easy, delicious, and downright memorable.
