We visited from NY and craved Korean BBQ. There were many restaurants to choose from, but we're so glad we settled on Surah! Everything was delicious and reminded us of the great K BBQ spots back home. The meat was top notch and the ingredients were so fresh. The soba noodles were cold and refreshing! Don't miss out on the Korean pancake dessert-- kids got to it before I could snap a pic. It was a perfect ending to a delicious meal.

Just ate here for the first time. It was a very nice experience. Very busy which is good to see a local Business doing well. Very kind friendly staff. The food was very delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is very clean and comfortable[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and I enjoyed it very much.

My wife and I had a great experience here! We met the owner, who was super friendly and told us they took over the restaurant about a year ago. He really made us feel welcome. We ordered the deluxe BBQ combo, which came with Prime Beef Ribeye, Prime Brisket, and Thin-Sliced Flower Pork Belly, plus a soybean soup. Everything was delicious! The ribeye was really tender, the pork belly was sliced just the way I like it--nice and thin--and the brisket was high quality. They also had a great variety of banchan (side dishes). I'm usually picky about kimchi, but theirs had the perfect balance of ginger, spice, saltiness, and sweetness. We also tried the Galbi Tang, which was clean, rich, and really comforting. Prices are a bit higher than some other Korean BBQ spots around Orlando, but the quality of the meat and care in preparation definitely makes it worth it.

Best tasting Korean food. I lived in Korea for two years many years ago and have gone to Korean restaurants ever since. There's an old Korean saying: "If two people were eating and one of them died, the other wouldn't even notice." - 둘이 먹다가 하나 죽어도 모른다. The food was THAT good!

A huge pass. This place use to be BeeKwon and was great. I was super disappointed in the wait time and hot pot. Our waiter was super nice but it took forever for out hot pot to come out. When it did, it was just onions, bulgogi, and mushrooms, with noodles barely enough for one person. I'm not sure if they were having help/kitchen issues but I definitely would not be back. They had a few huge parties and seem to be very attentive to those patrons. $50 for hot pot and that's what was served is really sad. It's more expensive here than other places but very underwhelming.

Everything was delicious. I had been wanting to go here since my favorite group are here. Finally went and it was so worth it. The service was exceptional as they assisted us with cooking when My sister had questions.

We're in town for a convention and were craving Korean food after an exhausting day. We found Surah and decided to give it a try and I'm so glad we did! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. My favorite was the pork mandu--lightly crispy with a flavorful filling, definitely a must-try! For my entrée, I got the brisket tofu stew and requested it mild which was the perfect spice level for me. My bf had the galbi tang and the broth was light yet packed with flavor. The service was very friendly too. We're in town for a few more days and are already planning to come back before we leave!

I'm not sure if I'll come back because of the price and quality of the food. Quality--galbi was cold! I can clearly tell that the dish was frozen before as inside of galbi was cold and the veggies were breaking apart and its colors being dark instead of shiny bright. Perhaps if you're going to freeze, separate by meat and sauce and don't freeze the veggies. When you get the order, put the sauce in the steamer with the meat and fresh veggies and stem for couple minutes extra. Price--I don't think the food's been priced right. It's WAY overpriced for what we're getting. Also if we're paying almost 40 bucks for a galbi, it would have been nice to get banchan refilled... also, BE AWARE you have to pay for your banchan to get refilled by the way!

I came to Surah and left really impressed! The standout for me was the spicy tofu stew--I honestly didn't think it would be spicy enough, but they really delivered. It had just the right kick without overwhelming the flavor. The kalbi was also memorable--thicker cut than I usually see, but still tender with a nice bit of marbling that gave it great flavor. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The side dishes were plentiful and fresh, and the restaurant itself was clean and comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The sweetest touch was the owner herself--she came by to chat, and even shared stories about when ATEEZ visited (twice!). It made the whole experience feel personal and warm. Everything I ordered was delicious! Best Korean food I've had in recent memory - I'd definitely come back here again. If you're looking for tasty Korean food with heart, Surah is a great choice.

This is a very good Korean Resturant. Love the options here and there's options for just about anyone hungry. My favorite and most unique is the port cutlet. It is so crisp; tender; and moist; it was perfectly prepared. It reminded me of my favorite cutlet place in Japan that was a hole in the wall joint. Portions are just right. Only thing I would comment on is the price as it's a bit on the higher side. Other than that; place is clean and service is good.

Came in with my family and they requested to eat katsu curry. Really crispy and just the right amount of thick. We also enjoyed their kk bbq. Lots of good side dishes too.

Amazing food & service at Surah. Took the college & HS kids out for lunch and I was craving this. Saw many good reviews and they did not disappoint. We were so hungry that we started tearing into the food and pictures were an afterthought. Pork fried dumplings, no picture because they were delicious and we devoured them, were up first. Fantastic, sweet and spicy KFC not spicy but very tasty. Now the mains, I've heard of army stew but never had it. This was delicious, but I don't know that I'm coming back just for it. Beef Bugolgi hot pot was PHENOMENAL, really recommend this. Asked the kids for the star rating? 5 out of 5, I think that tells it all right there. Love the ambiance of the place and looking forward to my next trip back!

We choose to sit at the bar as it's open seating. my husband wanted the five spice chicken wings, and we were disappointed to learn that they've been taken off the menu. This is such a huge disappointment because that five spice dry rub was amazing. We ended up talking to the bartender and she said that they could do the lil sum sum (kids menu) wings naked and put the spice on the side. My husband chose to go that route (two order as there are only 3 wings an order) but thankfully, they actually tossed the wings in the spice, which was perfect. But we really do wish that they would bring back the actual full order of the five spice chicken wings as that was his go to when we went there and because that's not on the menu it may decrease the amount of time we go back now because he doesn't really care for a lot of the other menu items. I got the five spice green beans, which is one of my favorite items on the menu. I was surprised to hear that they had taken it off the menu for a while and that they had just brought it back. so glad that they did because that was the whole reason we had traveled out there and had they not been on the menu. There's a good chance we probably would've found somewhere else. I also had the Po Po Lau curry because it is another one of my favorite dishes.

The drink was good with some spices, but instead of a craft ice, they just used regular crushed ice, making the drink a bit watered down. For my food, they sadly no longer had the duck noodles, so I tried the CKT noodles (15 dollars) instead. They mentioned it would have a smokey flavor from the wok preparation, which I enjoyed. However, the noodles were quite chewy. The meats included shrimp, pork sausage, and chicken. The chicken and shrimp were enjoyable, but the sausage could have used a bit of a punch. I was able to get some sambal for heat, but it lacked flavor and it was a bit gritty too. At least there was an ample amount such that I could take some home for the next day. My server was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was the same. I did enjoy the audible music and crowd, making the vibe nice. I would definitely come back if the bring the duck noodles again, and maybe try another drink next time too. Overall: B-

The booth we sat in had a beautiful and asymmetrical heavy wooden table top polished to a brilliant shine, and there were a surprising number of diners there at noonish, on a Tuesday... what's that tell you? Now: the food! *First, for the technically challenged, be warned that the menu is available via phone and QR Code. If you want a printed menu, too bad. Otherwise... We began our meal with Agedashi Tofu, which is fried cubes of tofu that have a magnificently thin layer of a crisp skin encasing melted tofu, and there's a perfect sauce to dip them in. I have been thinking about these for an hour now and can't even imagine how they are made. A delicious magic trick! Next, we had an Eel and Shrimp Tempura Roll, a Shrimp Tempura Bento Box, and two Nigiri and Sashimi lunch specials. The Tempura was light and crisp. The bento box included a spring roll, fried rice, and gyoza, all perfectly flavored. The Nigiri and Sashimi fish was served cold and absolutely fresh, and was sliced generously. The Nigiri and Sushi lunches included a California roll, 4 pieces of sushi, and six pieces of sashimi, and really was a lot of excellent food for a bargain $24. I almost forgot that we started, along with the Agedashi Tofu, with a very subtly flavored miso soup with tofu and seaweed. This was also perfection, with just a breath of ginger and perfect salt. I hope I've convinced you fans of Japanese food to try this restaurant. If you're new to Japanese food's many varieties and intricacies, or hesitant to eat raw foods, there are always cooked meat and fish dishes like Tempura or Teriyaki you can order, and then you can explore by tasting the more exotic things your friends and family order. Maybe you'll develop a taste for it! If you already have a taste for Japanese food, don't pass up an opportunity to eat a wonderful meal at Mikado, in MetroWest.

We waited around one hour, and the waiter kept telling us that our food was "almost done." When the food finally came, my husband's cold bowl was still missing, so we had to share the food we received. The bulgogi was extremely watery and tasted like it had a lot of MSG. On top of that, our waiter forgot our drinks, so I had to remind him. I also had to ask another waitress for utensils. Meanwhile, another table that arrived about 20 minutes after us received their food before we did. The waiter never checked on us or seemed to care about the situation. Given the poor service and long wait, we decided we were not going to leave a tip. At the end, he gave us an $18 discount, which we appreciated as at least an attempt to address the situation, although we were still very unhappy. But then things got even worse. The menu clearly stated that an automatic gratuity applies to parties of 5 or more. We were a party of 4, so that policy did not apply to us. However, when we paid with our credit card, we noticed that a $19 tip had been added automatically even though we had not authorized or agreed to leave a tip. After that, the waiter and waitress were nowhere to be found. We were exhausted and had two kids with us, so we decided to leave rather than spend even more time dealing with the situation. This entire experience was frustrating from beginning to end -- extremely slow service, missing food, forgotten drinks and utensils, poor food quality, and an unexpected tip added to our credit card despite the menu's stated automatic gratuity policy. My Overall Rating - 2 Stars (Atmosphere, Food) Atmosphere - Seito Sushi Sand Lake is a beautiful restaurant. My first impression was great, as the modern décor and dark lighting gave it a very nice date night feeling. There is a long sushi bar with chill lighting and sushi chefs. There are square booths perfect for groups. And large, round orbital lights hang from the ceiling. This is a cool place. 1 Star. Service - While my first impression started great, it changed when I asked out server what I should order (I'm here as a tourist). He said their traditional items were great, and when I asked what they had that was traditional, he said the California roll. Uhh.... No Stars. Food - The sushi is very good, but you're in a resort area so it's very expensive. Dishes that were great and memorable: Beef carpaccio - the soft, tender beef was the highlight, but the real gem of this dish was the fried wonton chip that added great crunch and a little salt. The scallion tuna nigiri from the tuna tower (order this for your IG feed). And finally, the Hamachi crudo was a texture playground (Soft, crunchy, tangy, salty). My only other reservation was that it was very expensive. Then again, you get what you pay for. 1 Star. Will I Return? - No. I'm sorry, I can't return to a restaurant when my server's idea of traditional sushi is a California roll. Honestly, Seito Sushi is a very cool restaurant with a great menu. Just remember you're in a resort area so it can get pricey. No Stars.

There is a great selection and more than I could've thought. They had everything from quali eggs to…read moretripe for the hotpot, as well as plenty of options for the Korean BBQ and sushi. The decor inside was nice and the tables are large enough to hold all the different plates. The servers were very friendly and quick to offer help when needed. The price is a bit high, but for what you get it is still a good deal. I'll definitely be coming back here again to try more.

Wow. Wow. Wow... Where do I start?…read more Firstly, I am on a hunt for an awesome AYCE sushi and when I heard there was a Hotpot/Korean BBQ/Sushi restaurant opening nearby. I'm like, I'm in! Let me at it! Hindsight, not a good sign typically to lump so many cuisines into one but I didn't care! I was on a mission to find great sushi for the right price. Sadly, this ain't it. Secondly, super disappointed with the selection. There is barely any! And the chef was not in a hurry either. Maybe it was the time of day and the day of the week but come on man. You are a restaurant, should you not always try to look your best no matter how busy or slow the place is. The cleaning lady was busy though. Just wiping anything she can find haha but no seriously the selection is pretty s*thouse not gonna lie but again it could be because of the time and day. But, I'm sorry, I won't be coming back. Not worth the price. Thirdly, the place looks nice though. tidy and clean when it is not so busy. Not sure what it would be like when busy. Nice ambient lighting and sound. The music was actually not too loud. The costumer service is pretty nice. Prompt and present. Conclusion, I will not be going back. No good sushi selection. Yes, hindsight, should just go to a sushi joint and not a BBQ joint haha
