Had the pork ribs and brisket, potato salad, Mac and cheese, and coleslaw. Everything was flavorful. Meat was tender and moist and ribs were fall off the bone. Potato salad was dill and pickle forward which I appreciate. Mac and cheese was flavored well, bordering too salty, but with bites of the coleslaw it was perfect. Coleslaw was vinegar based and seemed like some citrus mixed in. Service was friendly and the place was clean. They were out of the pork belly so will need to get back to try that!

Tried Smoked Meats after hearing a lot of hype around it. Overall, the food was okay, just not what I expected based on all the reviews and buzz. We ordered the brisket, 1/2 chicken, potato salad, and coleslaw. The brisket was decent, and the chicken was cooked well, but nothing really stood out flavor-wise for me. Honestly, the coleslaw was the best part of the meal. It was unique, fresh, and had really good flavor compared to the rest of the dishes. Service and atmosphere were fine, but overall the experience didn't quite live up to the hype for me. I'd maybe give it another try and order different items next time.

I have to be honest I wasn't impressed by my visit to Smoke Made Meats on Crystal Lake Drive. I had the brisket sandwich, but the meat was almost a paste, and the BBQ sauces didn't really deliver, super watery. The mac and cheese also left me wanting more it just wasn't as rich as I hoped. That said, their collard greens were outstanding truly the star of the show. And the butter gooey cake? That was a sweet win. I also tried their Frisco fries, and they were decent, but I wouldn't rush back just for those. The ambience is really laid-back. It's like any regular barbecue place. I saw at least 3 to 4 tables of people sitting down and enjoying their barbecue and they seem to have a steady stream of traffic. The cashier who is also getting our food order together seemed really nice. She had a great personality. I honestly don't feel the need to go back and visit again. I feel like I would enjoy barbecue more from four rivers.

The food in this restaurant the most inconsistent in flavor I have ever tried. The good things I could try was the sausage, the pork belly and the Mac and cheese. They were amazing, great flavor a very filling. However, the brisket is the driest and lack of flavor I have ever tried. Additionally, the pork rib were dry and without flavor as well. I don't think I can recommend this place. Very disappointing

Finally decided to try this bbq place! Got there about 10 minutes before opening and there was already a line! My friend and I ordered the brisket, pulled pork, mac and cheese (with one adding brisket for extra $3), potato salad, cheesesteak and banana pudding. You can tell everything was fresh! Meats were cooked to perfection. Sides were good, though I do feel like the mac and cheese cold use more pepper but thats just to my liking. It was also their 5th year anniversary so we got free beer. I didnt like that much at all but free beer is free beer! Even though I was happy to finally try it, I think this place was a one and done for me!

My family and I went on a Saturday for lunch. It was quite busy, but people come and go pretty quickly so we were able to get a table and our food very quickly. Overall, everything had a good smoke flavor, however, I found many of the meats too be much too salty. I enjoyed the pulled pork the best because it was the most balanced in seasoning and least salty. Of the sides, I really liked the cole slaw and pickles since they both had a great crunch. I wish it had come with more pickles considering how much we ordered.

We've been a few times for lunch/dinner and this place is magical! Truly the definition of a 5 star BBQ spot. Firstly, the owner & pitmaster is present in the building and serving guests. The staff are friendly and helpful. The building is clean and efficient as well. The food is amazing while maintaining top tier BBQ quality. The options and sides are creative while being consistently tasty. This is by far our favorite BBQ place in Orlando. 10/10 must visit!

The basque cheesecake (and regular cheesecake) is only available on Sunday so had to try that instead of their usual desserts and it was delectable. A lil burnt on top (purposely) without the crust on the idea, only on the bottom. It was a thick piece and had very good flavor and texture Their menu were reddish colored pieces of paper throughout the glass screens with hand written items. Kind of would have liked to have seen a nicer format but still legible to read, mostly The place was empty on arrival but filled up quickly within the time while eating there. The room does get lour once it gets filled up. Pretty standard dining area and not much decor anywhere - Half chicken: good size and liked the skin. Breast was on the drier side and needed sauce to help it go down. My fork did break when trying to cut up some of it up - Brisket: so soft and went down so easy. Nice char and fat proportions - Mac & cheese: good at first but then was too much, but heavy to keep eating and a slight unusual flavor - Pinto beans: does have some pork and beef in it throughout. Different style than usual pinto beans and was cooked well - White bread: subtle and light - Pickled onions and cucumbers: vinegar filled and tart - Basque cheesecake: so good and large piece - 2 BBQ sauces: the thicker mustard like one was great but the spicy one was way too watery and not spicy at all There's a water station in the back room that was a nice touch and togo boxes station by the utensils I can see how people really like this place and it was good but induced a food coma. The food was heavy and made me so sleepy afterwards. The temperature was warm and not so hot. Would be coo to try their other items like the beef ribs that weren't listed and their chili someday

    Cheesesteak

The cheesesteak sandwich and cheddar jalapeno sausage were amazing! The rest (brisket, pork belly, pork ribs) had some dry pieces, but some weren't dry and those were good too. The service was also good and bathrooms and dining area were clean.

This is your neighbor local bbq spot. My friends and I arrived on a busy Sunday right when they opened. Shortly after the line was close to the door. Recently acquired Michelin Guide status this place lives up to the hype. We loved the pork sausage, burnt ends, Dino rib brisket and the Mac and cheese. All of the bbq was made fresh and tender. We liked the bbq sauces offered at the table as well. The interior features dining room tables, condiment station and memorabilia. The line moved quickly and is recommend coming early in the day or pre order if you plan on ordering a lot. I'll definitely be back to try some of their other seasonal items. Prices were fair and we paid around $30 per person for 5 bbq items and 3 medium sides.

We came here one day when we were looking for restaurants off the Michelin Guide, and also really wanted barbecue. We loved the simple menu, and really loved the idea of a beef tallow tortilla. I grew up eating everything with tortillas, so I was ready to gorge myself using them in this Central Texas style meal. Ambiance was nice. Mostly simple like the menu, but with a beautiful mural adorning the far wall. Service is friendly and efficient. You have to be when everyone's order has to be built piecewise and with fractions. Their menu is built off of the 1/2 pound prices, but you can order 1/4 pound if you'd like, so you can try more meats. We ordered a whole mess of stuff. Like six meats, six sides, a dessert, and some tortillas. We knew we weren't gonna finish this meal in one sitting, but we wanted to try as much as we could. Highlights and lowlights. The brisket was out of this world. Juicy and with just enough fat to be able to describe this brisket as perfectly succulent. Turkey breast was nice and juicy, too. Has a nice bark on the outside. Definitely better than like 99% of turkey at other BBQ restaurants. We even tried the Smoked Marinated Mushrooms (Smoked Portobello mushrooms tossed in our house sweet and tangy balsamic marinade). If you're vegetarian, these are gonna rock your socks. They are bursting with flavor. Even if you're not vegetarian, you'll like these. But they are intense, so maybe just order enough for one per person. Two special items I don't see on the online menu, they must have been a weekend only thing, were the pork belly burnt ends and the beef rib. These choice items are pricey, but well worth it. Those burnt ends melted in your mouth and have a beautiful char. And that was literally the best beef rib I've ever had. Not an ounce of gross, unrendered fat. We also ordered a whole mess of sides. Mac & cheese was good. The noodles had a softer texture, but the cheese was very nuanced, not just yellow tasting like Kraft. Hash and rice was very unique, and very Carolina. I would recommend everyone try this. I would skip the potato salad. The chunks of potato were just too big to be cooked through properly. And of course, the Tallow Tortillas (Homemade flour tortillas made with our rendered beef tallow). These were so soft, so soft and pliable. I was in a hurry and just warmed them up in a microwave, but if you have time, use a cast iron and get just a little browning on the outside. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with Smokemade. So much TLC went into their meats. It's so plain to see that there are advantages to having just one location and not turning into a mega BBQ empire. I'll be back.

Pros: Love the simple ambiance. It's just a building in a lot, one painted mural, one handwritten menu, and an assembly line of people making our dreams come true. The service was very good. Very friendly, and didn't seem to be in a rush, even though we were altering fractions of pounds of meat we were ordering. Very friendly and very efficient. The food was really out of this world. Maybe not the best in Florida, but certainly the best in Orlando. Cons: Not a single con. This place was lovely. Tips: The menu is broken down into half-pound prices, but you can request quarter-pounds, and maybe even small percentages. Wait to come for a weekend. That's when they break out the beef rib, which was the best beef rib I've ever had. Yes, get the beef tallow tortillas. They are amazing. Buy more than you need and freeze some for later.

Ribs were tender and packin' with flavor! The brisket was also pull apart tender but sliced a little too thick. Creamy mac n cheese was loaded with savory notes and ooey gooey goodness! Greens may have had a bit too much vinegar added this day but still cooked to perfection. Sauces, pickles, & onions also are a must try! Plenty of homemade desserts available as well. Looking forward to coming back n trying the brisket cheesesteak!

We ordered the buffalo chicken egg rolls and the deviled eggs (with no bacon) as appetizers. For our new drinks we got margaritas, I got a regular margarita and my partner got a passion fruit margarita. For entrees, I had the famous fried chicken and my hubby had the meatloaf. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice, relaxed, they keep the shades lowered during the day to reduce that sun intake and it's lovely. It feels nice and relaxed in here no matter the weather outside. Again, we enjoyed the experience but the service was fairly slow. We had to pretty much know what we wanted by the next time we saw our server or flag her down to get her attention. She was waiting about 4 tables on our area. We were party of two.

The portions and overall quality felt underwhelming for what we paid, especially considering how highly recommended this spot tends to be. The baked goods were also on the expensive side. Some of them were enjoyable, but the quality seemed inconsistent, and not everything felt worth the premium price. At this price point, I expected the food to be more memorable and the flavors to stand out more. The restaurant has a cute, casual bakery atmosphere, but the value was the biggest issue for me. I do not mind paying more for high-quality food, especially from a local business, but the experience needs to justify the cost. There were a few good items, so I would not completely rule out trying Se7enBites again. However, based on this visit, I would be more selective about what I ordered and would probably stick to one baked item rather than committing to a full meal. The service was average.
