Outstanding, simply the best. I stopped in at the Mission BBQ restaurant on Semoran today for a lunch break. I was greeted in by the staff with a welcome. I was serviced by Devon - who was so nice. I ringed my order and gave me a sample of their banana pudding that was so good. I ordered the pull pork sandwich along with some baked beans and the jalapeños sausage with cheese. Everything I ordered was delicious. Special thanks to Devon for completing my order and helping me to my car. Thank you for a great day and great food, Devon you rock!!!

Walk in and order at the counter. Good selection of meats and sides. Counter workers were helpful as gar as ordering. Got the 2 meat platter, jalapeño sausage and pulled pork with a side of Mac n cheese. My companion got 5 ribs and a side of "cold' slaw. Both plates came.with cornbread. They call your name when the food is ready Ribs were fall.off the bone tender and there is a selection of BBQ sauces at each table. Pulled pork was tasty as was the sausage. The KC BBQ sauce was my favorite. I wish there had been some honey or butter for the corn bread since it was a little dry. So a pretty good place for bbq.

The Rundown: service inspired chain, with delicious meats and friendly service. The Review: this was my first time visiting a Mission BBQ and I am surprised I have not heard more about this chain. First impression, their "mission" - so to speak - was very clear from the different themed walls and phrases. The service style is counter, but with an attendant working the floor. All encounters with the staff were very friendly with an "eager to help" mentality. You could tell they work as a good team, kudos to the management. I went with a simple turkey sandwich and paired it with Mac N cheese and a drink. I saw they included "summer lemonade" in their fountain drinks and appreciate them offering this. It was delicious! Very sweet, I had to water down but I prefer it that way vs too light. First impression with food was that it was very basic. Two buns with some meat slabs on it, and a heaping spoonful of side. It felt kind of small for the price, but upon tasting it was incredibly well flavored. I tried the turkey first as is - and was very impressed. They definitely cook their meats well if seasoning or sauce isn't needed. The table offers a variety of sauces, from sweet to spicy. Something for anyone's taste! I recommend keeping it light so it doesn't overpower the meat. The Mac N cheese felt small, but was very good. Not too oily, they add some crumbles on top to give it that "fresh baked" crunch which was a nice touch and ensures everyone gets some breaded topping. The seating staff member was very attentive, taking time to introduce themselves to each person eating in and staying very active with cleaning and restocking tasks. Everyone gave the appearance of wanting to be there and, as mentioned before, to help ensure your visit is pleasant. Pricing is a bit on the higher side and by time add drinks and or a side you're reaching sit down meal prices but overall I highly recommend if want something quick and flavorful.

For Easter this year, we decided to order the ham with smashed potatoes, green beans, with rolls. Great decision! Look forward to what they offer for Christmas. The food was delicious. On top of picking up the food, the Manager threw in some of their banana pudding and I love their banana pudding. As a vet, I am proud to support Mission BBQ and all they do. Love the patriotism and support they give. Love this place! Thank you management and team members of Mission BBQ and your support for us veterans.

Mission BBQ is a special place. It honors our military personnel. Walking in it is like a museum with pictures, badges, insignias, letters, flags, etc. Look for the ice tub of Nehi sodas. The BBQ and sides are ordered at the counter. We are BBQ people, and we liked this. The greens and cornbread were very good. Fountain sodas, iced tea and coffee are self served. Can handle groups. It's a beautiful place. Recommend.

    Good food

Damon was amazing. So nice and made sure we were taken care of. Went out of the way to accommodate us due to the salmon selling out. What a great food place for the family..

Emani made our lunch date here extra special!! My husband and I don't live near a Mission BBQ, but we had them cater our wedding last year, so it's always a nice treat to dine in & reminiscence on our wedding day. Emani was the dining room attendant and checked on us to make sure everything came out great. She even blessed us with a yummy banana pudding dessert with the sweetest note on it! Thank you so much for going above and beyond. Mission BBQ always makes a positive impact

I'm not much of a BBQ connoisseur - but this place was bomb!!! I got lean brisket which was surprisingly moist still, 2 fallin-off-the-bone ribs, Mac and cheese and beans. The meat comes with a complimentary piece of cornbread - I wish it was bigger! Everything was so good & I like that they offer many types of BBQ sauce. I think the Kansas City I picked for spice, but it's definitely tangy and only slightly spicy. I enjoyed the Memphis bbq sauce - tasted well balanced but on the sweet side and more like a normal bbq. Service was good when I went in to pick up my food. The ribs didn't look the best at first, but I dipped in some sauce and my first bite was delightfully a surprise of soft and tender meat!! The ambiance was nice! Different decor related to the veterans who served us. I also added on a banana pudding when I came into the store - it was tasty but my only complaint was there wasn't a lot of fresh banana in it! Only a couple tiny pieces and they were kinda on the not-ripe end. Overall though I loved this spot! Pretty good price too I feel, I was able to have my food as leftovers for dinner the next day too.

The food is amazing! The 3 meat platter was enough for hubby and me. We made it a XL combo with baked cheesy potatoes. We had to get a brownie and banana pudding, too. The brisket was nice and juicy. The have a veteran or birthday program which you can sign up for to get discounts.

5 Star update for one of my new favorite brunch spots! (Get the brisket-stacked pancakes ASAP)…read more I love S&D for lunch, but recently got to try out their brunch on a Saturday morning with some girlfriends and it was FABULOUS. First off, note that they have added a vinyl DJ area (so fun!) and now offer table service (perfect for ordering more brunch cocktails!). My favorite brunch dishes I got to try were the brisket-stacked pancakes and the brisket egg & cheese sandwich. The pancakes are made with donut batter and have a hint of citrus. I was offered regular maple syrup or a bourbon version and obviously went with the latter. The brisket was perfection and made this dish the best representation of salty-sweet decadence. I can't imagine ordering anything else for brunch now that I've tried this... And yet, I got to try my friend's brisket egg & cheese sandwich and holy cow the caramelized onions took it to another level. if you're looking for something featuring eggs for breakfast- this is a must. In terms of drinks, I liked their peach spritz. It wasn't too sweet and it was a hearty pour! And even better- they made me a great cortado, so don't forget to get a well-made espresso drink while you're there. Previous lunch review: 5 Stars because I am OBSESSED with this family-owned barbeque spot (their food, staff, bar program, etc!)! My sisters had been raving about Smoke & Donuts for a while now because it's super family-friendly and they go with their group of friends (and their kids) often. They talked up the food, of course, but it is the staff that really sells them. It's family-owned and everyone there is an absolute joy whenever I've been. They offer everyone free little donut holes with their orders and they remember you like you're part of the family. I've enjoyed the brisket (WOW) and the pulled chicken- Both are standouts! Something else on the menu that totally surprised me and stayed on my mind was the mac & cheese side. It's so unusual, but I am a big fan! It's got a rich flavor and then an almost sweet aftertaste. Trust me- somehow it works and you'll want more! And for the vegetarians- they have pulled jackfruit available to satisfy their barbeque cravings. Love the inclusivity with that option. In terms of donuts, my fave is The Lou, featuring a maple-bourbon glaze, heath, Hershey's chips, and brisket burnt ends. That salty, sweet combo is unbeatable!

The line to order was pretty long, but we noticed a few open seats at the bar. We asked the bartender if we could order there, and she said yes--pro move. Skip the line, grab a bar seat. Sandwich Standout Bite: The queso with Flavor Bomb 3 was incredible. Sweet, savory, and completely addictive. The pineapple in the flavor bomb added the perfect touch of sweetness and made the dish really stand out. Sandwiches: Both sandwiches were excellent.
