Absolutely top notch BBQ. Went for the first time yesterday. Wife and I had the butcher board and added ribs. Everything was so good. We tried 3 of the different BBQ sauces and every one of those were awesome too. The waitresses we had outside were fantastic and super nice with our little baby, brought us waters, made sure the umbrellas were keeping us in the shade, etc.. Don't sleep on the bottled Passion Breeze bottled Mocktail either, it may have been my favorite thing from the whole meal. Do not hesitate to try this spot
The Polite Pig exceeded my expectations on the taste of the food. Best Brussels sprouts I've had. The sausage and roasted beets were also satisfying. Would come back and recommend but you'll have to go on non peak hours as even at the time I went, there weren't many tables left open after I ate.
Please open one in California too! I don't go to bbq restaurants often but I would if it's the polite pig! I ordered the butcher board for 2, slider trio, and some sides and they were all delicious! All the meats were not overcooked and seasoned perfectly. Most of the bbq places don't have that many great sides but I loved the brussel sprouts! It was my first time there, so the staffs were very friendly and helpful throughout the ordering process. The Polite Pig in Disney Springs is a Michelin reviewed bbq joint slinging smoked meats and sides aplenty. We went with the butcher board featuring pulled pork, sliced brisket, a half chicken, jalapeño and cheddar sausage, street corn and mac and cheese. This was plenty to split between two people and great way to try most of the meats. The brisket was our favorite of the meats and the Mac and cheese was ooey gooey. We had a satisfying meal here and it didn't break the bank
Delicious! Friendly! Festive! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It wasn't what I was expecting. We're were really looking for a sit down waiter/waitress restaurant, and this wasn't that.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But thankfully we didn't leave, it was so good! I had the brisket burnt ends, a side of bbq cauliflower, and an additional side of the Brussel sprouts. OMG it was all so good. It was quick to order, and it didn't take long for the food to come out. I can't wait to go back.
Updated review since we just went again last night. There was a long line outside, but it moved at a decent pace. The staff was all friendly and still super knowledgeable. This time I was very underwhelmed by the food. The ribs were tough and chewy. They did not fall off the bone at all. The brisket was also tough and chewy. I'm not sure if it's because we went later in the evening this time instead of lunch, but the food was not worth the price paid. The sides were still delicious thankfully.
We had planned to meet friends here for dinner after we arrived in Orlando but they had to cancel their trip at the last minute. After initially picking other options instead due to how busy the area was and where we ended up having to park (Grapefruit Garage) decided to stick with this since it was much closer and had already gotten later than we originally planned to eat. On both occasions we have had to wait around 30 minutes to order. I understand why but not allowing people to sit while other members in their party are in line to order is not particularly helpful especially when you have elderly members of your group with mobility issues. As before the food is great and my wife & I were able to split the sandwich and 2 sides to be filling enough. After a long park day or otherwise particularly hungry might add a 3rd side or 2nd sandwich. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Other than the seating issue and wait, it was a great experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have tables to accommodate large groups of 6 or 8 and outdoor seating is covered.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I wish they had a mobile order option or even switch to a hybrid table service type when there is a longer line. I want to try some other options before we come back again but like it enough to return.
I'm giving this place five oinks! Soo-weee good! I had the sliced brisket with Mac n cheese, coleslaw, and cornbread. The brisket was tasty. It was a tad bit dry but the sauce covered that right up. The smokiness of the meat was perfect. Mac n cheese is not to be missed. Cheesy gooey goodness that'll have you not being a polite pig. (I'm not sure what that means) I finished it off with the blueberry bread pudding. Great finishing touch. Service was outstanding. I was afraid that we weren't going to be able to find a table but it was super easy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My specific table had an issue, water was dripping from the AC vent.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Now for the food, we ordered the butcher plate, came with a little of everything to try (Brisket, chicken and pork) side of waffle fries and Mac and cheese. It also came with pickle, pickled onion and coleslaw. Coleslaw had no real flavor, pickled onion should be sliced thinner. Pickle ok. Waffle fries amazing, Mac and cheese needed more flavor for me. Chicken was dry and a bit overcooked, same with the sausage. Pork was good, needed a bit more of flavor but nicely cooked, some sauce and it was very good. The overall winner, the brisket! Wow, amazing, should just had gotten the fries and the brisket!
My family and I love eating here. The line always seems intimidating but it moves quick. My favorites are the fried chicken sandwich and the brussels sprouts. The brussels sprouts are pretty consistent every single time I order them. Note if the table says reservation that just means that you need to order your food and then you can take a seat at the table.
If you're a fan of smoky, savory goodness, this BBQ hits all the right notes. The meat is tender and juicy, with just the right amount of smoke flavor. Ribs, pulled pork, or brisket each bite is flavorful. The sauces are balanced not too sweet, not overpowering, and complement the meat perfectly. The sides, like baked beans and coleslaw, Mac n cheese round out the meal nicely. it's classic BBQ done well hard to mess up hearty, flavorful, and satisfying. We stopped here after poking around Disney Springs and thought the menu looked good. They have your traditional meat plates and sides. We got sandwiches and they also have a deal you can get 3 sides for $17. Also have beer and bourbon flights. Meal was very good do being one of the most experience of our trip (including in the parks). The hostess sat us right away at the bar which I thought was great. The only knock was the bartenders definitely favored the locals/regulars and let them cut the line to walk right up and seat themselves. It was also very difficult ultimately to get any servers attention once we got seated.

Another excellent meal! Ordered my favorite item, the Smoked Turkey BLT. I ordered with a side of sweet potato tots and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was phenomenal! Loved it! It's topped with crispy breadcrumbs! The sweet potato tots were just okay. They were kind of soft and mushy and not crispy. Flavor was good though. Second visit to The Polite Pig in a few years, and it's earned its spot as a solid go-to lunch stop at Disney Springs for our family. This place is always packed, and for good reason as the food is legit, the cocktail list is solid, and they somehow keep the line moving even when it's slammed so props for that. We went with the Butcher Board, which is listed as serving 2 but easily fed our entire family of four including my wife and our kiddos which makes it a great value for what you get. The brisket was the standout for me, followed closely by the pulled pork. The chicken and sausage held their own too. Honestly nothing on the board disappointed. The beer selection also surprised me in the best way -- not your typical theme park watered-down options. One heads up for first-timers: order before you find a table. We made the mistake of doing it the other way around and were pretty firmly told we couldn't sit until we had ordered. I get it as it's how they manage flow but if you don't know the rule going in, it feels a little abrupt when you're just trying to wrangle your family in a crowded dining room. Was super pumped to try this place because we are obsessed with their sister restaurant ravenous pig. We came around 8:30 on a Sunday evening and this place was PACKED. In our defense, we'd never been to Disney Springs before and we're not really Disney people, so we were absolutely BLOWN away by the intensity of the area. If you're using Uber or Lyft, be prepared...the location is smack dab in the middle of everything, and you'll likely be walking about half a mile from either drop off point. There was a line wrapping around the building, and by the time we reached the counter we were starting to sweat. But I have to give credit where it's due: the staff was incredible. The girl working the door, our cashier (who I later saw busing tables), and the various employees checking on guests EVERY . SINGLE . EMPLOYEE. was hustling their face off!! The line never stopped. It was absolute chaos in there, and I was genuinely floored by how hard everyone was working. We ordered the trio sliders. The pulled pork was okay but desperately needed sauce; the Carolina sauce helped a lot. The Nashville hot chicken slider was just okay. The standout was the brisket slider. I'd absolutely order that again. My favorite thing we ate, though, was the wings. Sweet with a nice little kick, those were fantastic. We also tried the waffle fries, which were pretty ordinary and a little over-seasoned. The coleslaw was very unique, almost sour. We ordered the burnt ends as well, and this is where I feel obligated to defend Polite Pig a little. We've been eating some really great barbecue lately, so maybe my standards were high, but the burnt ends just didn't hold up for me. They were extra chewy and heavily sauced. My boyfriend thought they were perfectly fine. My bigger issue was that most of the food just wasn't hot. If everything had come out piping hot, it would have elevated the meal considerably. Drinkwise, my boyfriend got the Old Fashioned and loved it. I ordered the batched vodka lemonade and had no idea it was carbonated. Had I known that, I never would have ordered it. It was not for me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My biggest knock, unfortunately, is the bathroom. Back in 2019, I used an outhouse on a hiking trail in Utah. This bathroom was worse. Dirty diapers were literally topping the garbage can. Since the restrooms are individual and co-ed, there was a urinal in mine, and maybe it's because I'm a woman, but the smell was absolutely awful. Above all else, the floor was covered in urine. It was atrocious[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. At the end of the day, all my love goes to the hardworking employees. They were the stars of the show. The food was decent, and there were definitely a few standouts, but for me it just wasn't worth the stress and chaos that comes with the Disney Springs location. But if you're already there then dine on!! So if you go, do yourself a favor: use the bathroom beforehand. read more

I stopped by Polite Pig when I was at Disney Springs. Food was good and service was quick. I ordered the brisket, ribs, turkey and pulled pork sandwich. Everything was fresh. It was busy so we had to wait a few minutes for table. Will definitely come back again to try other bbq items. read more

The Polite Pig is a very popular barbecue joint at Disney Springs, and always has a line. It's not that bad, as we entered the line when it was right outside the entrance at 8pm, and were sat within 15 minutes. They're very efficient about the ordering process; look over the menu while you're in line so that you're somewhat ready to order with the cashiers. You pay up front and are given a table number, and seat yourself. While drinks and food are delivered to you, you sauce yourself at the various sauce taps. The sauces were unique, strong, and flavorful, but the meats didn't need any. Coming from CA, I won't say I'm a BBQ connoisseur, but the barbecue here certainly tasted fantastic. The alcohol list (particularly bourbon) is varied and the drinks we had were good - especially the cocktail slushie. The butcher board (for 2) is an appealing option to try everything, as it includes pork, chicken, brisket, and sausage. You can even add on extra meat for an upcharge - we added burnt ends which was so worth it! However, it definitely made it a struggle to finish the platter between two people. The platter also comes with slaw, pickles, cornbread, and your choice of 2 sides. All of the meats were tender, moist, and had a good smokiness. We liked the brisket the best, though will continue to get the board again since every meat has its place and purpose! We were especially pleased with how good the chicken was, since that's usually our least favorite meat. The sides were also well cooked and flavored, with good texture and portions. We got the crispy brussels sprouts, which were roasted perfectly, and the fresh and creamy street corn. We were very impressed by how busy, yet quick and efficient dining here was. We were pretty much in and out (including waiting) under an hour. I'm not surprised that this is a top casual eatery with great value at Disney Springs, and I'd love to come back every time I visit. read more

This is the third time we have eaten here over the last couple of years and the food remains very consistent. The building remains me of an old warehouse in the French Quarter in New Orleans, The wait staff is excellent you need not they will get it for you or you can help yourself. We shared the butchers Board for two and as always the food is excellent. Something I did not notice if it's new or not, on the back side of the menu there is an extensive selection of Bourbons & Flights, along with a list of Whiskey's. If you are ever in Disney Springs stop in at The Polite Pig you will not be disappointed. read more

First off parking.. you will have to park in the deck and walk quite a bit. The area around the restaurant is pretty busy but the way they handle orders and coordinate really helped me enjoy my dining experience. You first will have to pay and then they bring everything out to your table directly. The food did not take long at all to come out and you can sit anywhere in the restaurant that says reserved. I had a pulled pork sandwich that was delicious especially with the different sauces to add to it to choose from. I also had a whiskey flight which was delightful. When I'm back in Orlando I'll stop by! read more

This is always packed for a good reason. The food is delicious! The Butcher Board is a good sampling of everything and good for sharing with someone else. Sallie even got us some sauces! She was awesome. This is must every time we come to Disney Springs. read more
Love the bourbon bar in there. Great options for bourbon and the pre mixed margarita was actually very good! Usually I don't go for those. The trio sliders were the perfect combo and cooked very well! Excellent flavor! read more

The food was so unexpectedly good . It was a good surprise. I usually dont expect much from barbecue places but the items we got let me tell you they hit the spot. Mind you? I was not hungry. The beets salad was very tasty and different . My favorite out of the side I ordered. For sure the street corn was very good and kid friendly. Mac and cheese was okay for me. Chicken was very very well seasoned and with that corn bread, YUM Ask for the chocolate chip cookie. This was a restaurant that we always smell that bbq flavor from outside but gave up after see the big lines, but yesterday we decided to go, and for our surprise didn't take long. It's kind of restaurant that you order your food and try to find your table later. Was busy but didn't take long to grab the table. We ordered the butcher for 2 but we added ribs too for 8 bucks more. The Brussel sprouts were amazing, just wish could be little less sweeter, that will be a must. Brisket could be more succulent but was good, the sausage with jalapeño was really nice, pulled pork was good, chicken was moist. Definitely will come back to try the beer they offer, was so hungry yesterday that just had soda. They do offer 5 kind of sauces that you serve yourself. Also they have an bar area, really nice. We have been coming here for years and make a point to eat here every time we are in town. In fact, this time we were merely driving through town and we stopped here to have lunch. The bbq cauliflower is amazing. The Brussels sprouts are the best you will ever eat. The street corn was new for us and it was very good. Place has gone downhill! I go almost every year when I go to Orlando but was very disappointed this last go-round. The brisket was very dry. The burnt ends were better but possibly only because they were doused in sauce. The bourbon pecan pie was absolutely awful - cold, tiny, drizzled in honey and cinnamon (why?!) ... I didn't even finish the small portion because it was so bad. The sides were a standout and still good - great Brussels, sweet potato tots, Cole slaw and jalepeno corn bread mini muffin. read more
We decided to check out the Polite Pig while on vacation. We were there for an early lunch and didn't have to wait very long at all. I found the prices to be really good for the excellent quality of the food. Michelin inspired as well! I ordered the pork shoulder with Mac and cheese. It was so flavorful and delicious! You are in Disney Springs and you are with all the tourists and travelers, and even a few locals. But everyone is here shopping around and walking to see what they can buy and what is out. This is true heaven for the visitors. Naturally, food is important, and people look for a place they can get something to eat and maybe a beer or two. There is a variety from Asia, to Spanish, to Italian, to a Pub or two, and anything you can imagine. For us we had to go Southern, so The Polite Pig was the stop to take in this time around. As is typical and easy, you get inside and order your meal. You then sit down and they will bring the order. Of course, when you sit down they will bring the beer you order at the cashier. That makes it easy for you. Within 10 minutes the food arrives. It is all here to start and enjoy what you receive. The portion is a good size, and the meal is warm and fresh. That is good to know. We had a good variety, from puddled pork sandwich to chicken fingers to even a brisket sandwich. It was a way to try a few different items. We even ordered the Southern style grilled cauliflower topped with a spicy sour cream sauce mix. It was a good flavor. Overall the meal was good, and everyone enjoyed. Especially those with the beers. As for the brisket sandwich, this was tough. It was not cooked the way brisket is made to be soft and tasty. Instead, this was as hard as leather. I would not recommend this. Next time, if I go, I will go with the pork sandwich. Step into Disney World and step into their reality. read more

The polite pig is very similar to most chain bbq places. I had the ribs. They were tender and not dry but the sauce didn't really brink a ton of flavor. The burnt end chili was ok. I felt like it was canned chili that they put burnt ends into. The cedar plank salmon was good but nothing special. The beet salad was good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is just a restaurant. It's loud but busy[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. It's. It necessarily a place I'd have to come back to. read more
This was our second visit to this restaurant, and it did not disappoint! The BBQ is seriously delicious, and the service is just as outstanding. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the servers do a great job getting you excited for the amazing food you're about to enjoy. If you're at Disney Springs and want something that actually feels worth the stop, The Polite Pig delivers. We ordered the fried chicken sandwich, a pork sandwich, and the sampler platter... and not a single thing was left on the table. Everything was genuinely really good--flavorful, filling, and exactly what you want when you're craving solid barbecue and comfort food. The ordering setup is a little different at first. You hop in line and order like a walk-up spot, then they give you a pager and have you grab a table marked "reserved." It sounds chaotic, especially when it's packed, but it actually worked. We found a table pretty quickly, and once we sat down, it shifted into more of a sit-down experience. A server came by with sauces, checked on us, and brought out the food and drinks. Came back a few years later and wow this place is still so delicious! You order at the counter and then are seated. They have a flight of bbq sauces all of which are tangy and make great toppers. I got the turkey and baked beans. The beans are more on the savory side which I loved. The turkey is so delicate and moist. This was our second time here for food, but if you don't have time to sit down and want to just grab a drink you actually don't even have to come inside, they have a full service walk-up bar that's partially outdoor / patio style. They have cocktails on tap here which are premade, but they are delicious - including an old fashion and a delicious apple cider whiskey sour with a cinnamon rim (highly recommend). We got a platter this time which is definitely enough for at least two people - we got brisket, smoked turkey, chicken, mac n cheese, potato salad, cornbread, and added a side of chili as well. This is SO much food but in my opinion, the best bang for your buck especially since you get to try so much rather than getting just one dish. The mac n cheese & potato's are both AMAZING!! Service is always super friendly and the ambiance is very casual - this is one of the busier spots at Disney Springs so it's always bustling. read more

Honestly I was surprised at how well this restaurant operates when the lines are a block or more from the door. It moves so quick! You get your food and have a guaranteed table, they stop the line if nothing is available and if you don't have a receipt you cannot get a table. The food is really good, a nice selection and good portions. Service was great specially the staff that works the tables. You can also order more food or drinks once you are seated. We sat outside since it was a beautiful day. They also have plenty of indoor seating and a nice bar with a fantastic bourbon selection. read more

We have been here a few times, and we love it. Staff is great, very knowledgeable and helpful. TPP is a walk up order your food, grab a seat kind of place, servers bring drinks, sauces and the food to your table. Heidi watched our section, she was very helpful, unbelievably nice. This is a 3.5 review. The Polite Pig is located in Disney Springs, where there is a plethora of competition for your gastronomic attention. It's a an order at the counter, find your table sort of place. There's a bar the separated inside from outside. There's a sauce bar with condiments and BBQ sauce options. The menu is good, with something for everyone. The hubs and I weren't hungry enough for our own meals, so we agreed to split the smoked turkey breast with a side of their famous mac and cheese. It also comes with coleslaw and a cornbread muffin. The hubs wanted to try the burnt ends chili so we also got a side of that and the brussels sprouts. I got a whiskey sour, the cocktails are on tap, but they also have a bar. The turkey was okay. The hubs smoked a better turkey on Thanksgiving, but the smoke flavor was good. Just the meat was a wee bit dry. The coleslaw and cornbread muffin were meh. The Mac and cheese was very good--more saucy than gooey, if you know what I mean. Hubs loved the chili. The Brussels were good. A good place to stop if you're in a rush. We won't be back. read more
Did you know this was a Michelin star restaurant? Because I for sure didn't! It was so good I can. I went here with some friends and it came recommended from them. So I have never been here. We did not get a reservation so we stood outside in line just for the quick service and there happened to be a table on the inside so that worked out for us. I didn't realize it, but it is also a Michelin star restaurant so that was pretty cool! My friend has a gluten allergy so it was really cool that they could accommodate her. I got the brisket with fries, and mac & cheese. It does come with coleslaw, but I substituted that out. The brisket was cooked so well! Very seasoned and filled with flavor! The fries were nice and crispy and were waffle fries so that was great! The mac & cheese was very creamy and really yummy too. It also came with a small, jalapeño cornbread, I definitely don't like jalapeños, but I did not taste anything like it so I think it was just a regular cornbread. If you need a quick place to eat and didn't make a reservation, I would definitely recommend this location! They were very fast with the service and very polite and the tables turned over quickly because people are just going in for a quick bite. I think this is a great option, especially if you have downtime from the parks or are looking for something gluten friendly! read more
