    Our special anniversary celebration dessert

What an amazing experience. From the time we entered the restaurant, we felt very welcomed and special. Our server was extraordinary. She was very friendly and helpful. The food was very good. My husband ordered the meat skillet and I got the breakfast one. We were able to get refills of anything in the skillet. I had to go for more Mickey waffles. After our meal, we were surprised by a special plate of small desserts. So very nice and delicious. We love this place and can't wait to return.

Bring your appetite. This all-you-can eat barbecue restaurant serves delicious grilled and smoked foods by the skillet-full, including tasty sides and several plant-based options. It is a themed restaurant, so there are some kooky antics by the servers and staff -- be prepared to be involved, but not so much that you can't enjoy your meal. My mom and I decided to try this restaurant since I have an enhanced discount this summer as a Disney passholder. If we were a bigger group or had kids with us, they might have tried to involve us in the shenanigans a bit more (I'm not sure). But we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and drinks! Self-parking is free and easy with a dining reservation if you aren't a guest at the resort. You can also park for free at Disney Springs and take a free bus to the Wilderness Lodge (the restaurant is in the lobby). After your meal, you can also walk around the resort along the lake. And if the timing is right (like it was for us), you can ride the boat to the Magic Kingdom roundtrip and watch the nightly fireworks from the water.

    Yummy drinks!

A super crazy and fun place to eat... especially if you have kids with you. There are shenanigans happening during the whole meal. Super noisy and fun! The servers are outstanding... friendly... and full of great suggestions. We had the moonshine drink and a pina colava. Both were delish! My husband had two rounds of the meat skillet and I had the salmon and it was super tasty. We were too full for dessert!

Came here for breakfast before taking a boat to the Magic Kingdom. You can park there and go straight to the park. No need to remove your car. Service is very interesting. They do pretend to be mean and sarcastic. Which is an interesting touch. Ambiance is very unique as well. Place is also very spacious if you are coming with a big group of friends, or family. I had some egg white frittata and a fruit cup. A fruit cup was super lame, it had some old cantaloupe. They did have Mickey waffles which my son loved. My husband had a pork sandwich which was good as well. Overall a pretty delicious place compared to other places in Disney, I would say my favorite during a weekend in Disney.

I love the spunkiness of the employees here; funny but not overly harsh. Bbq is a main focus but about four other dishes and four apps available. I got the salad and added protein/salmon (not on the menu but available). It had a couple different tastes, good--but not the best I've had. It needed a sauce or more seasoning. The drink was also good but not the best ever. Our server was great and did an awesome job living up to the theme. Ask for ketchup and join the horse race.

The food here is amazing,. Service is hilarious! Don't ask for ketchup, you will get all of it. LOL. Tge ambiance is loud, busy and louder. Can't hear yourself think. I think I lost another decimal of hearing. Be prepared with ear protection. I had the avocado toast and it was delicious! Loved the pickled onions on top. The hickey waffles are cute. The horse race was funny and one of the servers, after cleaning a table yelled, "There is did my job" while pointing at the table she just cleared. lol.

The Whispering Canyon Cafe is a fun Disney resort restaurant with great service and food. The atmosphere is so fun and you will be laughing the whole meal. The barbecue and drinks were excellent and we loved having the ability to ask for more of the things we loved. Definitely give this place a try if you are looking for a good time and some good food on your next Disney trip.

I had so much fun here. Initially, I was a bit nervous because I'm introverted and it's known that the servers here mess with you on purpose. But our dinner ended up being so so so fun and hilarious. We had a birthday boy in the group and so of course we had a "birthday party" for him. Our server was so funny and entertaining. For food we each ordered the skillets which are all you can eat bbq. The skillet sizes get progressively bigger if more of your group shares the same skillet type. For instance, if all four of you order the Traditional Skillet, they'll bring a large skillet to share and put it right in the middle of the table. The bigger the skillet...the more fun :) The bbq was great. Beef brisket was my favorite. I noticed a lot of tables were for four people so if you have five or more, reservations can be a bit difficult to procure. And don't be afraid to ask for ketchup haha

Great service. Honestly the staff is so fun and was great. This is somewhere we will definitely return to. We decided to do Whispering Canyon as our checkout day breakfast before hitting the road. Everything was got was pretty tasty and as expected. We got the heritage and it was a good mix of food for breakfast with biscuit, eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage and waffle. The Mickey waffle is a staple, and was your standard Mickey waffle. The biscuits were where it was at in my opinion. I also got the mimosa flight and highly recommend. Lots of good food for the price and a fun experience.

We came here for dinner the first night of our trip and had a great experience. We ordered the plant based all you care to enjoy skillet and everything was pretty good. We also got the chocolate cake for dessert which was also pretty good. Our server was excellent. Since we were a group of all adults and not really playing into the gag she didn't mess with us too much, but still gave us a hard time when she stopped by. We did have fun watching some of the other tables do silly gags but none of us would have gotten up for one.

Now this really is one of the best places you can get breakfast anywhere at Disney and it's all because of those skillets! We have came here a few times now and let me say those skillets do it right as you start off with a whole one and then whatever off of them you want more of they just keep bringing it all out to you until you just can't eat anymore! We ordered one of each The Carnivore And The Heritage one was all breakfast goodies and the other was all BBQ goodness which made for a nice brunch style when mixing them together one of my favorites things I made of them was a chicken waffle sandwich it was super good and just a fun experience to make something cool and yummy out of those already delicious mouse waffles! Everything on both of the skillets was yummy like honestly I really can't just pick one thing and say I liked it more than the other as it all was just delicious so grab a friend or a few and share all the goodness they give you because it's honestly quite a lot! If you ask for ketchup you will be brought all of them from the many tables in the room it's one of those things they do here to create an ambiance as well as galloping around the dinning room on wooden horses as they just create a whole fun vibe here for all to enjoy alongside those delicious skillets! Overall this really is a hidden gem in what I feel is a overlooked Disney resort as every time I come here I'm reminded why this is one of my favorite spots to grab breakfast at one of the most chill resorts in all of WDW so do yourself a favor and get here already you'll leave full happy and have had a ton of fun starting your day!

There's no actual whispering here at Whispering Canyon! We stayed at Wilderness Lodge and "came home" hungry as anything after a very long day of travel. It was very easy to switch our reservation to arrival day from our original slot too. If you're coming here, def come hungry as the skillets are AYCE AND! AND! A vegan option?! SIGN ME UP. One of my fave things about Disney is how dietary friendly they are! Whatever concerns you have they will meet. The vegan cornbread was BOMB. Calamity Kate even said it's way better than the non vegan version (and she wasn't a vegetarian or a vegan so this may be a secret, shhhh!) The alcoholic drinks are STRONG here, fair warning. It was a bit too strong, in my opinion. If you are looking for a place where it's ok that the kids are yelling/crying/overtired and the servers may or may not be into the "performance" aspect of the Whispering Canyon, than this is the place for you! Don't expect quiet, but expect silly shenanigans. And make sure you ask for ketchup! A must if you're staying at Wilderness Lodge.

We made a reservation for 12:45. Ended up checking in at 12:30 and we're told it would be a 20 to 25 minute wait because they were behind. We ended up walking around the hotel to kill time and then went back to sit in some chairs nearby to wait for the text. While waiting we sat by another family and when I got my text the other family stood up and rushed in front of us. They got to the host stand first and I figured maybe they had gotten a text too so I waited for it to be my turn. When they finally got to me they said that my table was just taken. The family who jumped in front of me. Had taken our table. We were a party of three and they were a party of four. I was visibly upset and they put extra notes on our table for our server to give us extra pixie dust. We were also celebrating a birthday. Nothing special happened and there was no recognition of the birthday from our server besides a birthday button. Lori who was wearing a green outfit? It seemed like she was jumping into help because of how busy things were. Did give me a sheriff badge and apologized a few times. Especially after seeing myself and my daughter visibly upset. The manager just kind of looked at us like well what can you do. I had hoped that they would get the family to get up so we could get our table but I guess they allow people to jump the line at Disney. The family was able to stay the entire time and everyone else who waited their time now was further delayed because of them. The food was ok though. They used to do sausage and mashed potatoes with the carnivore lunch. Not really a big fan of the roasted potatoes. The first order came out with no onions or veg in the potatoes and the second order did. So there wasn't consistency. It's a cute restaurant and it seemed like a lot of the other servers were having fun with their tables. Our server was nice and friendly. Perhaps I had too high of expectations after what happened to us in the beginning. I would definitely recommend that the host confirms to make sure they have received their texts at their table is ready to ensure this doesn't happen to another family.

Do the breakfast skillets come with any fruit on the side? Has anyone been here for breakfast with the DP? I know it's table service but will you just get a skillet and a drink?

If you order The Ligher Side it does. If you order one of the others, I am sure they can accommodate fruit since it's listed as a side on the menu.

Is the Plant based skillet an option for breakfast as well?

Can we order the plant based skillet at lunch? We see it on the dinner menu but not the lunch menu. Thanks

Yes, you can. As a Disney Travel Agent, I have made reservations several times at this restaurant and they can handle any dietary needs including plant base diets. Just let your server know you need a plant base meal and she will get the chef out so…

We chose seats at the bar and were greeted promptly by Brian and Rowan. Because there were a lot of people and just the two of them, they were running around taking orders from tables as well as servicing the bar so it did take a little bit to get our drink orders in, but we were enjoying looking through the whiskey library anyways. I started off with a Suncreek blonde ale. It is strawberry blonde ale and it's delicious. My husband started with the Yingling. He keeps hoping they will bring the Kentucky bourbon ale back on tap again. For lunch, I got the whiskey dip which is full of chopped beef with cheese and onions. Served with an herb, dipping sauce, and your choice of side. I opted for the sweet potato waffle fries because they are delicious. My husband got a burger with fries cooked perfectly. Once we are done with our food, we did opt for a taster. My husband had to go through several different bottles before he found one they actually had in stock. That is one of the downside is the whiskey library that is online is not always reflective of what they actually have in stock as he was really looking forward to trying the old Fitzgerald birthday, but alas, they did not have it in stock. The menu is preset so be aware of that going in, but the menu is pretty kid (and adult) friendly as it's Thanksgiving themed. The interior is beautiful and it's a nice, relaxing spot to eat at for a break. Our waiter was very friendly and the food came out pretty quick. As a heads up this is an all you can eat establishment (for around $40-45 bucks a head) so you can eat to your heart's desire. The meal starts off with their house salad featuring greens, apples, cranberries, and cheese all tossed together. It was surprisingly much better than we thought it would be and if not for maximizing what we ate while there we wouldn't have minded getting more. Following up the salad is a feast of: roasted turkey, pot roast, pork loin, mashed potatoes, green beans, stuffing, and Mac and cheese. We absolutely dove in. The turkey was alright, not dry (a huge plus) with the pot roast being a much better option in our opinion. The pork loin was delicious with a nice sweet glaze on it. The mac and cheese likewise was good and creamy along with a savory and filling stuffing. The only misses we would say were the mashed potatoes which felt thin and flavorless and then the green beans which really just took up space. For dessert they have their oooey gooey toffee cake which is very sweet but admittedly difficult to put down after the main course. It's not overly sweet too which is nice to finish your meal on. By the end of our meal we were stuffed and ready to tackle the rest of the night. We would say for the price this might not be the best option for those doing Disney on a budget but if you are a pro at making buffets stretch then this is a decent deal. A solid, filling meal all around and one that is very palette friendly for all.

We were staying at a Holiday Inn near Disney Springs so we decided to come here for a late dinner. One of the best decisions made here. We did a late night walk through the shopping center and landed here around 9:50 pm. It was pretty late and we worried there would be no seats but we were seated promptly. The establishment was very ambient, cozy, and well furnished. I liked the warm, glowing atmosphere of the restaurant. The server was extremely polite and took our order quite soon. We were starving after a long day but the food came out in around 20ish minutes which wasn't too bad. The serving sizes were quite huge. We didn't expect this much food for two portions. For $34 per plate, the dishes were large and came with a large helping of sides. The fried chicken was extremely crispy and juicy. They originally wanted to serve the food quickly/more fresh so they served a chicken thigh to me after on a second plate. They also forgot my substitution of Mac n cheese for mash potatoes so I got a free helping of mash which was sweet. The pickled cucumber was light and fresh which tasted great with the heavier chicken. The potatoes were a little heavy and I wish came with gravy, but still delicious. I really loved the Mac n cheese and finished that up. The chicken steak was also delicious with the grits but a little too salty. Wish they added the grits to the side for me to dip as it became a little too much at times. It was better to eat it with a side of potatoes to balance the flavor. The broccolini was sautéed perfectly and delicious, could eat a whole plate of those alone. The biscuits weren't bad but tasted better eaten with the potatoes. The food was a little heavy but so so good. We had to take half of the food to our hotel and ate it the next day for dinner as it was way too much food for one meal. Even after microwaving it, the food was just as delicious and flavorful. We spent about $80 but had so much food leftover. An expensive dinner, but everything tasted amazing. Would definitely come back if I had the chance.

The packaging was organized, branded, and thoughtfully put together, which created a positive first impression before even opening the containers. The pho was the highlight. We tried the Black Ox with added tripe and fried garlic, along with a build-your-own bowl featuring brisket, thinly sliced eye round steak, fresh veggies, and beef broth. The ability to customize the bowls allowed everyone to build something they enjoyed, and the flavors came together well. We also ordered the 2-D Crispy Wings with sweet Thai chili sauce, which were a great addition to the meal. The food looked appealing when opened, and the quality held up well even as takeout. What stood out most was the attention to detail. Between the customization options, presentation, and organization of the order, it felt like a restaurant that understands the full customer experience, not just the food itself. A solid choice for pho and Vietnamese comfort food. We would definitely order from Twenty Pho Hour again.

The rest of the treat is the place itself. Feels like you stepped into an international comic book strip... all in black and white. Supe fun if you are on the artsy side.
