It's a little overwhelming to walk into a place with a cuisine you're not super familiar with. I asked the guy behind the counter, Jacob, for help ordering...he had an awesome recommendation (I'm so sorry, I don't remember exactly what it was, I lost my original review luckily I had Jacobs name written down so I wouldn't forget, lol) it was coconut-y and spicy, but not too spicy, and just seriously delicious. The appetizer platter was great, but we probably wouldn't do it again just because we were so full and couldn't eat all of mine, I had like a whole meal of leftovers. We really liked the decor of this place...everything in black and white. We arrived late but were still welcomed in as they closed at 11pm. First of all, they were bumping some 80s/90s R&B in there. I don't know if that's something that they always play but I thoroughly enjoyed it the entire time. I got the White Chicks signature bowl (beef broth, udon noods, chicken, fried garlic, fried onion) and Thai Tea and some tapioca pearls that the cashier suggested. Kudos to him because that was delicious and I took it back to our hotel. The bowl itself was huge, not to mention how fast it came out as well, maybe within 10 mins of sitting down? Everything from the interior 2D designs to the service and food, was not as good as their other location. We came here during lunch on a weekday. We ordered and sat down. Came here for the first time for lunch and liked that they offered a cast member discount, it makes me want to come back. The summer rolls were soooo yummy. Hoping to enjoy a holiday dinner with our family of 8 coming from across the country the day after Christmas. Upon arrival, multiple other families with similar party sizes seated. I ordered the sampler platter which included a little hit of everything, they were out of rangoons so we double up on the dumplings. Loved being able to have different rolls and dumplings! Was wanting some soup in this rainy weather and came across 24 hour pho. They have so much to choose from! And I just couldn't decide. I ended up getting the veggie spring rolls and a did a custom bowl. I got chicken with veggie broth and it was soooo good! Soup was ok, flavors were there but a bit muted and on the sweet side. For a place called Twenty Pho Hour, I would expect the soup to be simmer for at least 20 hours, but the depth wasn't quite there. Noodles were a bit on the firm side, choice of thicker noodles and serving temperature did not do this bowl any more justice.
