    Omelette with potatoes

Since today was going to be a relaxing day we decided to eat at the Island Dining Room here at the Royal Pacific. We opted for outside seating which was very comfortable. Our server was great and the food was killer!! Kathy ordered the omelette with rye toast and I ordered the steak and eggs. Both came with hash brown potato wedges which were better than excellent.

I'm not sure I've ever been as disappointed in a restaurant, ever. First, the positive: Coconut Soup. It was really awesome! Great portion, piping hot with an awesome flavor. Something I would get again - but not here. Moving on, the whole night was a terrible experience. Terrible server who didn't know the menu which almost caused a huge allergy concern. A manager who came by to try to sort out the confusion, but didn't offer any real solution or help. Instead, everyone got basic food with no thought and the server and manager never returned to see how things were going. Lastly, two people got extremely sick after the experience. My guess is allergy related (even though the allergens were clearly identified) which makes this a hard place to review happily. I can hope it was a one-of bad night, but I, unfortunately, can't say anyone should go back, unless they want an entire night of vomitting.

We stayed in the hotel attached to this restaurant and so happy we did! We had spent a fun afternoon exploring the hotel and found this restaurant near the pool! After an evening at the park we were famished and dehydrated! Not to worry the portions were huge! My daughter and I got the Mongolian beef, which we shared and it was plenty! My husband got the salmon and devoured it before I got even one bite! If you order fried rice they do charge $6 which i feel was high due to the small amount you get but it was very good! I hate paper straws and that is all they offered! Luckily for me I brought my own but ky family had to suffer through. Ther service was outstanding and I wish we could have gone a couple times.

Headed to Island Dining Room for Magical Dining! Place was rather quiet, but great service and fast turn around! We went for both magical dining meals for two! Everything was cooked well and great flavors! Salmon, sticky ribs, chicken dumplings, watermelon app and yummy desserts!

My husband and I stopped in for a quick breakfast after checking into the Royal Pacific Hotel, mostly because the Tuk Tuk Market was out of breakfast sandwiches. I do not trust buffets even during non-COVID times, so I was happy that we were able to order ala carte. I ordered the Hawaiian pancakes with toasted coconut, golden pineapple, and macadamia nuts and he ordered an omelet with chorizo, mushrooms, and cheddar. We already had coffees from the market upstairs, but our server also brought out water, which was much appreciated. The pancakes weren't very warm and were dry, but the Hawaiian-style topping was delicious. My husband was very happy with his omelet and found it very filling. The restaurant was nicely decorated with the Pacific Islands theme, but it did feel a bit outdated. There are better options for breakfast in and around the hotel. We did not get a chance to try them for dinner.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. I am not sure why this place has such bad reviews. I walked in without a reservation and I was seated immediately. Saturday night btw. They immediately told us that they were offering an all you can eat stir fry and that they had the magical dining menu. Most restaurants don't offer up that info. The restaurant is casual for being at a nice resort. Not a romantic restaurant I would say. There are families and kids around and the pool is right behind.. you can't really see it that much and I didn't hear any noise from the pool. We did the magical dining and it was such a good deal. We got the korean hot wings and the calamari as appetizers. The korean hot wings had a nice flavor but were too hot for my taste if you like spicy you will love them. I still thought they were good. The calamari was one of the best I've had..it was a huge portion and perfectly crispy but not heavy breading. We both got the ribeye and it was delicious. Great seasoning and perfectly cooked. I recommend medium as my hubby got it medium well and we both agreed mine was better. The fried rice that it comes with was so tasty..not your average fried rice. (Tasted great re-heated too) we both got the Ying yang oreo mousse cake for dessert and it was ok. Not amazing. But not bad. I wouldn't come here for the dessert. All and all if I was in the mood for something different this is a great option. It is a little overpriced but I feel like that is to be expected from a resort restaurant.

My family & I went to the Island dining room twice on our trip to Orlando. Both times for breakfast and both times given the best service by Z. The menu isn't very extensive, having most staples such as custom omelets, avocado toast (pictured), pancakes, waffles, French toast, to name a few. Overall it's a great place to grab quick breakfast before starting the day. The food isn't anything too crazy- but satisfying. The avocado toast was tasty and the side potatoes didn't last longer than 5 minutes; they were very well seasoned and cooked! Our server Z suggested great items such as the French toast which was so delicious! And the banana nut muffins that literally melted in my mouth. I gave this place 5 stars mostly for the great service given by Z (he is definitely 5 star worthy). He tended to our every need and checked on the table frequently. My family & I would definitely come back to this establishment. Thank you so much Z!

One meal that had us coming back for seconds is that KBBQ steak with Kimchi Fried Rice. The meal was absolutely brilliant, the steak was perfectly cooked. The kimchi fried rice for me was awesome as I am huge fan of kimchi. The balance of the meal is great and I could have this every week if I could. The donut is dessert was also very good but absolutely massive; definitely a shareable item than a per person type deal. All in all the ribeye and fried rice is a must try :)

My family and I made a reservation here on a whim, but after reading some reviews on Yelp we considered canceling. However we were so glad that we didn't cancel! First- the Royal Pacific is a beautiful resort and we enjoyed walking around before dinner. The hotel is only a short walk away from City Walk and definitely worth getting away from the crowds. We ordered appetizers first. My dad said the Krab Rangoon was the best he's ever had. My mom and I shared the Thai Coconut soup and this was the best part of the meal! The soup is dairy free but so creamy, sweet, and delicious. The lemongrass is strong enough to give the soup a unique flavor without overpowering the subtle coconut milk. You are also given bread before your meal which was great. Tasted like a King's Hawaiian roll, but even better. For our meals we ordered Mongolian Beef, General Tso's Chicken, and Tofu Broccoli Lo-Mein. Every meal was delicious! The presentation is beautiful and the portions are huge. We all took home leftovers for dinner the following day. While you may think these dishes are going to be basic they are a notch above typical Asian food. We ordered the Jumbo Pineapple Doughnut for dessert and man this thing really is jumbo. The doughnut was super fresh and filled with a delicious pineapple filling and topped with coconut ice cream and a little caramel sauce. Our waiter Yasir was great. He answered all of our questions and chatted with us a bit. His service was top notch, even greeting us with an "Aloha!"

I went with my brother and sister-in-law, and the food was excellent. The lemon pepper dry rub wings were absolutely amazing--crispy, flavorful, and seasoned perfectly. They were so good I jokingly wanted to bite my fingers afterward! I also tried the Honey Thai wings, but they just weren't for me because I don't really enjoy spicy food. That's completely a personal preference, though. The edamame was fresh and tasty, and the appetizers we shared were all very good. Even though the restaurant was completely packed, the service was impressive. I expected a long wait, but I was seated almost immediately, and our server kept everything moving smoothly despite how busy it was. The only downside is the parking. There isn't convenient parking directly in front of the restaurant, so you'll need to park in the nearby garage, take the elevator down, and walk over. The good news is that parking on the top floor is free. Along the walk, there were several outdoor vendors selling fresh fruit drinks, roasted corn, sweet treats, and small shopping items, which made the walk a little more enjoyable. Overall, this Yard House delivered great food, efficient service, and a fun atmosphere. If you're visiting International Drive and looking for a great place to eat, I definitely recommend stopping by. I'll absolutely be back!

There were several places to choose from, but this one seemed like a good fit because it wasn't overly loud, and we wanted to be able to hear each other. We initially sat outside, but we were told they had stopped serving the outdoor seating area, so we moved inside. Rather than wait for a server, we decided to order directly from the bar since it seemed like the faster option. There weren't enough seats at the bar for our group of five, so we grabbed a nearby booth. The bartender was friendly, and our drinks were excellent. Unfortunately, that's where the positive experience ended. Although people were not coming in, but some people were eating, and enjoying drinks throughout the restaurant, it seemed like the staff had started cleaning up for the night. A server came over, and we explained that we were only there for drinks. After we received our drinks from the bar, he returned and told us that we would soon have to get up so he could clean the table. Seriously? I looked around and saw several other tables where some guests were simply sitting, talking, and enjoying their drinks. They weren't eating either. It made us feel as though, because we had only ordered beverages, we weren't as welcome as everyone else. I chose not to let one person's behavior ruin our evening because I'd rather believe that one employee doesn't represent the entire establishment. In fact, the bartender was great, and the drinks were very well made. What disappointed me was the server's attitude. I wasn't aware that ordering drinks at a restaurant with a full bar wasn't enough to be considered a paying customer, especially when there weren't enough bar stools to accommodate our group. His approach came across as rude, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary. Needless to say, we were not going to get up until we had finished out drinks, and we did not. I may return to try the food because the drinks were impressive, but if I ever encounter that same server again, I definitely won't be sitting in his section.

My husband tried the steak again after several years and really enjoyed it this time. We also tried the Alaskan dessert, but it was just average. I'd recommend sticking with the chocolate cake or the s'mores instead. I ordered the salmon, which Josh recommended, and I'd give it an 8/10. It was good, but compared to the lamb shanks, I'd choose the lamb shanks again without hesitation! Pro tip: Make a reservation ahead of time to make getting a table much easier for your party.

Go to order the item and they have to check to see if they have it. They come back and said that they are not going to be carrying the item anymore, which seemed a little crazy to me as it is supposed to be in rotation for another month, but things happen. What really got me is that according to the host I never asked any questions about it. Said that we never discussed it, I never asked about it, and he doesn't know what I am talking about. This was less then 5 minutes after we had the conversation as I ended up not ordering and leaving. Although I was a little annoyed with the item not being there (things happen), I was more annoyed at the insistence that they had the brisket just to get me in the door, and then insisting that the conversation never happened. I had even told him when I asked that it was okay to say that he didn't know.
