Aloha Special
Stephanie B.

WOWWWWWWWW!! This is hands down my favorite Hawaiian spot that I've found in FL! I have very high expectations being from the west coast and it's everywhere out there... but here in FL I've had trouble finding good tasting Hawaiian food. I'm in Tampa and WILL be making this drive to Orlando to satisfy my cravings! The staff was very friendly and was so patient while we took a while to decide what we wanted. I ended up getting the Aloha Special and it's my new fav thing in the world!! The mochiko chicken? Heavenly. The pork belly? Crunchy! The ono shrimp? Obsessed. It was quite busy when we walked in but we found a table towards the back. The place was very clean and loved the Hawaiian music they were playing. I will def be going back!

Clean and friendly crew of excellent customer service!

Very professional and friendly service- absolutely impressed the moment I walked in- 30min from closing- excellent vibe extremely friendly and customer oriented. Ordered the Aloha special and a spam masubi!!! The portions are delightfully big the flavors are rich and delicious each item on the dish was fresh and good! The crab Mac is a must try! And if you like pork belly the outside is crisp and inside tender flavorful! The chicken was tender and rich in flavor The shrimp perfect crisp and not over done! Came back before I could even finish my review and got the Hulu Hulu chicken! The Hulu Hulu I opted for the bbq and it was delightful flavor not spicy at all and perfect size portions! Seriously ever worker is extremely friendly the customer service here is beyond amazing!

This restaurant was quite literally the highlight of my weekend. They had some of the most flavorful chicken, shrimp, and spareribs that I have had in a long time. It was so good that I went on Thursday night and returned again on Friday with more people. I ordered the spareribs and a platter that came with the Michiko chicken, pork belly, and fried shrimp. Each platter comes with rice and macaroni salad. The fried chicken is dark meat so you know that it is Juicy what I loved is that they actually seasoned the chicken and did not rely on the sauce alone. I also love that they cleaned their shrimp. A lot of restaurants do not do that thoroughly and it really works my nerves. Additionally, the pork belly was crispy and juicy like a mix between Chicharron and pirnil. I can't prove it, but I feel like they soaked their pork in a citrus brine because I know I tasted acidity. The macaroni salad did not taste like mayonnaise and that is something that is very key for me because I hate when food is overpowered by mayo. The ambience was very chill and relaxed from beginning to end. I absolutely loved this restaurant and will be back very soon.

Mochiko chicken and huli huli chicken, berry & kiwi drinks

The service was pretty quick and the people attending the restaurant are just as nice. We got the huli huli teriyaki chicken and the mochiko bowl. My girlfriend said the mochiko's chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. The macaroni salad with the bowl was delicious, and im not typically a fan of macaroni salad but I loved this. The teriyaki had a slight char that didn't over power the taste of the teriyaki. In terms of drinks, we got the berry and kiwi refreshers, both which tasted amazing with the popping boba. The interior was cute and they had a cute neon sign on the inside too

This restaurant is about 10 minutes from Orlando international airport. The guys there are amazing. So helpful and friendly. The food they serve is great. I tried the Spam Macsubi which was delicious. Also, I ordered the Aloha Special. The shrimp that came with it tasted a lot of butter and it was a bit spicy (I loved it). The Mochiko chicken was very crispy and juicy. My favorites! I am heading there again if I am around the area.

Poke Bowl

Been eyeing this place for a while and finally had the chance to go! Finally, a Hawaiian place opened up close to me. I definitely recommend the Aloha Special as they probably have one of the best mac salads every. The crispy pork belly was a tiny bit salty but paired with the rice and the vinegar sauce it was delicious. The mochiko chicken also slapped. I would also highly recommend trying one of the seasonal special drinks, mango passion fruit tea was great! The poke bowl was delish as well, can never go wrong with this. Next time I come, will definitely try the surfside sample that has Luau pig, beef short ribs, and ono shrimp. The restaurant was clean and the staff was super friendly.

I've been looking for a Hawaiian place to satisfy my cravings and Aloha Hawaiian Kitchen definitely does the job!! The luau pork was so juicy and went very well with the house BBQ sauce. The mac salad is actually amazing! I really like that it has imitation crab in it which I think sets it apart from other Hawaiian restaurants. The loco moco fries are delicious as well, and you have to get the fried egg on top! I would skip the build-your-own-poke bowl as it's not anything super special or reminiscent of how Hawaii does poke bowls. The service is very friendly and the interior is nice and clean. I'm excited to come back to try other menu items and would for sure recommend this spot!

Waikiki Poké Bowl

This place is awesome! We went for some fresh poké bowls and boba and boy, did they deliver! The place is relatively small and tucked away in a tiny strip mall close to the Orlando international airport. It's quite brightly lit inside with pretty island decor. The restaurant is styled like a fast food place although the food is anything but. You place your order at the counter, they hand you a buzzer, the machine buzzes when the order's ready and you pick it up at the counter. The team behind the counter are friendly and the service is efficient. We received our order within 10 minutes after placing it. We tried the Waikiki poké bowl, the crispy pork belly, Kalbi short ribs, spam musubi and lychee lust popping boba. The flavours were absolutely on point and although the bowls look small, they are pretty deep and packed with food, making the portions much larger than they seem at first glance. My only gripe is that I wish they served the dine-in orders in actual bowls as opposed to the plastic take out style containers as It was a bit of a challenge to mix all the ingredients in my poké bowl properly inside the tightly packed plastic container. The food kept spilling out and I had to be extra cautious while mixing the rice with the rest of the ingredients. As far as flavours are concerned, these guys do a fabulous job! Everything was delicious! If you want to try some delicious popping boba teas as opposed to the traditional chewy boba, the ones at Aloha Hawaiian Kitchen are a must try. All in all, a lovely experience and we will definitely return as well as recommend the place.

Crispy fish sandwich with wasabi cream
Cheryl V.

Orlando~Cute but tiny lil Hawaiian restaurant! I usually go with the Kahlúa pork when eating Hawaiian, but decided to try something different this time. Service was friendly, and my girlfriend and I ordered the same sandwich. A crispy fish sandwich with wasabi cream sauce. I'm always eager to try the Hawaiian Mac salad because I am pretty picky. This one was pretty good although a little bit sweet. Nice and creamy with small bits of carrot. Luckily, this was on top of my fillet of fish. It added a great touch. The wasabi cream gave just a little bit of spice to the other wise sweet Mac salad and the Hawaiian sweet bread roll. Also, I'm super picky about breading on my food. The breading on this fish fillet was exquisite. Thin, crispy, and very tasty! My girlfriend had fries with her sandwich and they served the fries with honey and furiake seasoning. A little strange, but she enjoyed it!

I checked out Aloha Hawaiian Kitchen after seeing so many of their drool-worthy photos on Yelp. Hawaiian food has definitely been trending this year, and I'm glad we have a locally owned gem like this in Orlando. It's located pretty close to the airport, which is a bit out of our way, but I knew it would be worth the visit. And they did not disappoint! This is a very chill fast-casual spot with counter service and plenty of indoor seating. They specialize in fresh poke bowls, sandwiches, and authentic Hawaiian dishes. I wanted to try as many proteins as possible, so I ordered the Surfside Sample which is a combination of Kalbi short ribs, garlic Ono shrimp, and luau pig, served with mac salad. I also wanted to try the pepper seared ahi in a garlic ponzu sauce. It was all incredible. The meats were tender and flavorful, and the ahi tuna was absolute perfection. My favorite bite had to be the ono shrimp which were spicy and crispy -- just the way I like them. I'd probably get a whole bowl of the shrimp next time. I also tried one of their fun boba teas (mango passion fruit) and the butter mochi for dessert - yum! The service was quick and the staff were all super friendly. They even made suggestions for what we should try during our next visit. Their poke bowls and loco moco fries look amazing. I already can't wait to go back!

Cindy D.

Service was amazing, inside of the restaurant was clean, food was delicious. I didn't even take a second look at the prices because this place has been recommended to me so many times. Got the mochi chicken plate and two spam musubis. 5 stars all around. So glad Aloha Hawaiian Kitchen is near the airport, will be coming by more after flights! Looking forward to trying other items on the menu. Significant other who doesn't prefer Hawaiian food even said the chicken and mac were very good and he'd eat it again.

Kahuna Combo & Alohasadas

I love this place! I can't say enough good things about it. The food is all very good and cooked fresh. The customer service is great, the staff is always willing to explain the Hawaiian dishes. It's good vibes and good food, always an overall great experience dining here. I would definitely recommend getting one of their platters to try a bit of everything and some of their appetizers.

Lumpia
Sigrid W.

Absolutely the best. This is the first place I go to whenever I visit Orlando. The staff is so friendly and the food is top notch. Those lumpias are amazing. I think I could eat a whole tray full of those. But be careful, they are made fresh and can be very hot. My go to dish is the garlic shrimp... and be aware there is a lot of garlic, so don't consume if you have a hot date later on. This has to be the most delish shrimp ever. The shrimp are wonderfully flavored , huge, fresh, tasty and perfectly cooked. So often you get shrimp that are overdone and chewy, not here. These guys know what they are doing. Also the Mac salad is so creamy and goes great with the shrimp and rice. Actually my daughter usually takes another side of the mac salad home with her, while I take a poke bowl for later. The poke bowl gives you lots of choices of base, protein and toppings. You are sure to find a combination that works for you. I would visit more often if I lived in town.

This restaurant is located in the main building at the Polynesian resort which is very conveniently located on the monorail line. We were seated right at our reservation time. The dining room is large and bustling. The tables are close together, so there is not a ton of privacy. Our server was very friendly and helpful and explained that this is an "all you care to enjoy" dining experience which in Disney language means they will keep bringing you more food if you want it. I tried the Mai Tai cocktail (included with the dining plan) which was a truly authentic, tasty, and strong drink! You start with a platter of their famous Ohana noodles and other small items like gyoza and chicken wings. The famous noodles are truly very good and wonderfully flavored. Next they will bring you a platter of assorted entree items including shrimp, beef, and chicken. The beef was tender and a nice and flavorful sauce, but I actually enjoyed the chicken more which was a thin and flavorful grilled boneless breast. Again, you can ask for more of anything you want until you are full! The dessert is the Ohana pineapple bread pudding with ice cream which was a delicious and unique take on the standard bread pudding. The pineapple really added unique flavor and texture to the dish. Overall, this was a great dining experience! We look forward to returning on our next visit!

The place has a couple pre-made options as well as a build your own bowl. It's $13.99 and you can get two bases (white rice/forbidden rice (an apparently healthier rice thats black)/spring greens), two protein, 6 toppings, 2 sauces, 3 crunchies and 2 spicy add ons included in the $13.99. You fill out a little paper and they make it for you. It did take awhile for the lady to build our bowls but I guess since it isn't Chipotle-style where you point at what you want, it makes sense. You can walk around the meat and cheese market for a bit while you wait though. However, if you're not there for meat or cheese, there's not much else to look at except a small collection of sauces, crackers and drinks that you can get at a regular grocery store. The bowl was a good size honestly. The container they give it in is a little large so it looked lacking when we picked it up but it actually contained a good amount. I think the most commendable aspect is that they give a lot of fish/protein. The poke isn't bad. I got the sriracha mayo and garlic sauce on my bowl and I think they paired well enough. The forbidden rice isn't bad either. I got both the white rice and forbidden rice and they taste almost the same tbh. The veggies are fresh and refreshing. Overall, not a bad bowl of poke.

The service was great and fast... and he did a beautiful job constructing our bowls. The only reason I can give them 5 stars is because it's located inside a brewery that feels like a bar and it's not an elevated experience. Don't really love eating with single use plastic and a pub table. So go for the food and don't worry about the ambiance!
