Spicy tuna musubi
Nancy P.

Food: We ordered the fried garlic shrimp rice plate, spicy tuna musubi and spam musubi. They make the non-spam musubi fresh while keeping the spam musubi in a warmer so not sure how long ago it was made. The fried garlic shrimp has shell on so all the crispy and seasoning are on the shells. Once you take the shell off, there isn't any seasoning, which makes the shrimp just plain shrimp. I won't get it again. The spicy tuna musubi was made fresh and it was delicious. The Mac salad has some sauce but not a lot. Service: quick and easy. They are nice. We ordered to go so minimum interaction. Ambiance: cute indoor seating. Don't go thru the back as there is a trash smell back there.

My favorite Hawaiian spot in Orlando. It's a perfect spot to grab something quick and healthy. There are a wide range of things on the menu ranging from acai bowls to poke bowls to cooked rice bowls. My favorite things to eat there are the Spicy tuna musubi and the garlic fried chicken bowl. Great priced, cute decor and wonderful customer service! A place worth checking out especially if you're short on time.

Their poke bowl is so darn tasty, and the unlimited topping is simply perfect! Service is great too, so friendly! Hawaiian island's ambiance ROCKS!!

I had the Custom salmon Poké bowl. I started with a base of white rice, added in some pickled onions, ginger, Masago, crispy onion, seaweed salad, and it was perfection! Staff was very friendly, efficient and quick at making the bowl. The interior is no-frills and quite dark, but it's worth it if you would like a quick lunch !

Sweet little spot for grabbing quick Hawaiian food. My wife had a craving for poke so I popped in the grab a couple of bowls and tuna nachos. Flavors were on point and the food was fresh as can be. The staff were friendly, and more than happy to answer all of my questions with ease. Loved the convince and the speed at which they were able to fill our orders, while not compromising on flavor. The bowls were pretty good but the nachos were the all star of the experience!

I love Poke Hana on the Mills50 district. It is a such a great spot to find delicious poke and add as many toppings as you'd like. I did the build your own poke so I was able to pick the proteins, the toppings and sauce. You also have signature bowls. I went in from the back door since the parking lot in the back is much easier to find a spot than on the street. The door looks like it is an employee entrance but it is not you can go in. The staff were friendly and helped me right away. The space has a few tables in case you want to dine in. I took mine togo.

This place tastes soooo good. I was crazing a poke bowl and I made my own here with salmon tuna seaweed salad kebab meat mango cucumber and two sauces! A little pricy about 28$ with the drink but was worth every fresh bite

I order from here all the time during break or just for a quick meal. I like the aesthetic of the restaurant and the food presentation here. I always get the Garlic Fried Chicken Plate w Rice and Mac Salad. It is soo good! The sauce on the chicken is amazing and their Mac salad is so creamy and good. If you haven't tried this place yet I definitely recommend you come and try the Garlic Fried Chicken!

came in for an early dinner after a long day of work. weekday around 4pm, had plenty of people sitting here and a good amount of traffic coming in for to go orders. lots of seating options. i got a build your own, with tuna and salmon, huge chunks of fish. i was a bit skeptical as the toppings didnt look super fresh, but wow the fish did not disappoint!! i am curious about the owner - they had a painting of Hawaii but the colors seemed to be the england flag. highly recommended spot!!

Loved the choices and price of this place. There's lot of variety and either preset bowls or build your own with unlimited toppings! Everything tasted fresh and I opted for salmon and pork which were both delicious. I don't recommend the spam musubi which we decided to try though. Overall for a quick to go lunch or to sit at the bar it's a nice place to try near mills, especially if you grab a latte next door beforehand!

I honestly hope Poke Hana lives on forever. This is the only poke spot in Orlando I trully enjoy. If you're looking for a break from the fast pace energy of Mills 50 the options here are fresh and pricing is casual. Also to address the haters the portions are great. You will not leave hungry, just don't expect a Chipotle sized burrito bowl. You end up ordering so much because there's alot of variety.

MORE THAN OKAY POKE | at Poke Hana! Poke Hana has become a go-to poke spot for me whenever I visit Orlando. Located in the busy Mills 50 district, Poke Hana is perfect when I'm craving something light and quick and easy. I've tried a few items now, and my favorites are still the poke options. The haole style is a popular option but I love the surfs up salmon. The spicy tuna nachos are fun but I couldn't say they are a full meal. The spam musubi is also fun if you're craving them. Overall, a solid Hawaiian style poke spot on East Colonial. I will have to stop in again next time to try the rice plates & acai bowls!

Poke Hana, like any poke establishment, has high quality fish and healthy ingredients. Its salmon and tuna are both soft and flavorful. Although they focus heavily on vegetables in their bowls, I believe that they really balance these vegetables well. The ambience is exactly what you want from a poke establishment. It gives real island vibes. The music is surf rock, which fits the mood perfectly. The decor is very outdoorsy, like a tiki hut. This is probably the most immersive part of the Poke Hana experience. The service was decent. The staff were very friendly with me. We had a nice chat while the bowl was being fixed. I really appreciated that. However, it does have its drawbacks. First of all, I did not think that the fruit (mango in particular) was very ripe. It was a little on the harder side. Secondly, the bowl lacked sauciness. It was a little dry and a little bland as well. A good mix of sauce would help the flavor and consistency tremendously. Overall, this poke shop is a great vibe for some decent poke. I give Poke Hana 13/20 Freys. FREY OUT!

Seaweed salad is not gluten free, sorry.

What are the Gluten free options?

All of our proteins can be made gluten free using our custom gluten free sauces upon request. Also our Kalua pork, garlic shrimp and butter mochi are already gluten free.

I have a gluten allergy, is all of the seafood marinated in soy sauce?

Hi! Actually at the moment our seafood is just marinated in Hawaiian sea salt, nuts, seaweed and chili sauce. The sauce that has soy are mixed in during ordering process. We only have one sauce that doesn’t have soy which would be the vegan spicy… Read more

The place has a couple pre-made options as well as a build your own bowl. It's $13.99 and you can get two bases (white rice/forbidden rice (an apparently healthier rice thats black)/spring greens), two protein, 6 toppings, 2 sauces, 3 crunchies and 2 spicy add ons included in the $13.99. You fill out a little paper and they make it for you. It did take awhile for the lady to build our bowls but I guess since it isn't Chipotle-style where you point at what you want, it makes sense. You can walk around the meat and cheese market for a bit while you wait though. However, if you're not there for meat or cheese, there's not much else to look at except a small collection of sauces, crackers and drinks that you can get at a regular grocery store. The bowl was a good size honestly. The container they give it in is a little large so it looked lacking when we picked it up but it actually contained a good amount. I think the most commendable aspect is that they give a lot of fish/protein. The poke isn't bad. I got the sriracha mayo and garlic sauce on my bowl and I think they paired well enough. The forbidden rice isn't bad either. I got both the white rice and forbidden rice and they taste almost the same tbh. The veggies are fresh and refreshing. Overall, not a bad bowl of poke.

For the first time we visited them at their Gatlin Hall Brewing location and it was delightful! They had a special fish tip with toasted pita that was on point. And my poke bowl was loaded with fresh and flavorful ingredients. Another win is that there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating so we could enjoy our bowls fresh... no need to tote them home. The service was great and fast... and he did a beautiful job constructing our bowls. The only reason I can give them 5 stars is because it's located inside a brewery that feels like a bar and it's not an elevated experience. Don't really love eating with single use plastic and a pub table. So go for the food and don't worry about the ambiance!

They seem to be a permanent fixture to the little food hall. We ordered the Huli Huli chicken bowl with brown rice and the Tempura shrimp bao. The food took about 20 minutes to cook, which sticks, but the biggest issue I had was the bowl was ready about 7 minutes before the bao and sat in the window for that time. Why not tell us so we could enjoy it hot? It sat and was cold by the time I got it. The rice was mushy and taste like boil in a bag junk. It also said it came with pineapple, which I could only find three half nibs in the whole bowl. The bao were pretty good, but so drenched in sauce that we could barely taste the shrimp and accompaniments. The meal was so disappointing I only ate a few bites and couldn't continue. I won't be back.

5 Stars for tasty poke with unconventional options (Poke burger)…read more I've had PokeKai in South Florida once before and opted to try it locally a few weeks ago while enjoying a girl's night in with friends. We saw that they had a BOGO deal on UberEats and both opted to try the Poke Burger with tuna and the krab rangoon. I absolutely devoured the krab rangoons, which luckily kept their signature crispy exterior even though they were delivered and not eaten right at A La Cart. The sauce was tangy and a perfect complement to the homemade creamy krab dip. The Poke burger with tuna was a generous size and consisted of crispy rice buns stuffed with tuna/salmon/ or tofu (we got tuna), kai salad, avocado, eel sauce, sesame seeds, and spicy mayo. It definitely packed a kick, but the avocado kept it from being too spicy for me! The only drawback for me was the crispy rice is on the oily side, but truly this is a huge serving and is really tasty. This is the spot if you're looking for fusion poke options served in bao buns, ceviche, and burger form.

Service is quick and the food is fantastic. I use miso soup as a test for how good a place is and theirs was exactly how I like it, small cubes of fresh tofu, reasonably sized wakame, and not too much of any one ingredient. The miso was a milder white but nicely salty and flavorful. You could tell they didn't just phone it in and open an instant packet. I had their curry rice with a pork katsu and it was one of the best I've had in the area. The curry tasted homemade and leaned a bit towards the sweeter side but with a tiny hint of spice. It came with pickles which were just the thing to cut the richness. I also got their spicy garlic edamame which is my second favorite (Sushi Katana by the Milennia Mall has the best IMO). The onigiri was nothing special but great rice consistency and filled with bonito flakes and soy or umeboshi. There are a lot of dishes you don't find on most menus here like salted grilled mackerel fillet and croquettes. Funny enough there's very little sushi for a place with sushi in the name but I was ok with that because their kitchen food is what to come for. I also love that it has the vibe of a small Japanese restaurant with the option to sit at the counter and give you that "salaryman on a quick lunch" vibe.
