    Take out Hawaiian poke bowl
    Jane S.

First time trying this poke spot. The price is kinda high but the quality of fish and ingredients is well worth it. Especially when you can build your own with 16 options that you don't have to pay extra for. Of course, I did pay extra for seaweed salad and avocado because they are my favorite add ons. If I have to gripe about anything, I'd say my salad bowl needed more lettuce aka kale. The sauce, salmon, and ingredients soaked up my kale! When I brought it home I just added more spinach & arugala, which made it perfect. My husband loved the Hawaiian bowl with white rice and tuna. Both bowls had solid chunks of tuna and salmon so it's good to know they are not skimpy as some other places might be. I'm looking forward to coming back to try other bowls with different sauces. Highly recommend! You feel full after eating but you don't feel stuffed like a pig. Make it your healthy meal for the day.

Salmon coconut curry poke bowl with seaweed.

You have to try Da Kine at least once. Their poke bowls are ahhhhmazing. The ingredients are all fresh, the sauces flavorful, and the fish is of great quality. I've had both the salmon and the tuna and there is no question that they are both high quality meats. I am addicted to the coconut curry sauce. I've typically gotten the Hawaiian poke bowl but this afternoon I finally created my own. I highly recommend creating your own. I had white rice, salmon, masago, avocado, seaweed, nori, crispy onions, mango, and cilantro. I actually mixed the coconut curry and eel sauce and was super glad I did. SO GOOD! My boyfriend and I are addicted to Da Kine. With such amazing sauces and fresh ingredients, I can't imagine who wouldn't be. The only down side is the can run up a pretty little tad but hey, you certainly get what you pay for! Worth it for special lunch meals that wouldn't make you feel unproductive later in the afternoon. Love Da Kine!

First time I came here I was so impressed and could just not believe how amazing it was. The first time was so good the standard was placed high. Just impeccable I loved it so much. Came here for a second time and was just floored to how rude and short the guy making the bowl was. I didn't even finish ordering. I had to walk away with how bad service was. I would say this place is a hit or miss.

I was super excited to try this place. Glad I did. My bowl was super yummy and filling and I want to return, but the guy working didn't seem too thrilled to be there. He hardly said a word to me.

Love this place! Fresh and delicious. Diablo is my go to. The bowls are filling and there are a variety of toppings so the menu doesn't get old. Also, pricing never changes regardless of market rate for fish which is nice. Give it a go! If you like sushi you won't be disappointed.

My salmon tastes super fresh! What stands out to me about this place is their sauces. They are uniquely delicious and definitely memorable. I took off a star because it's a bit pricey and limited menu wise, but I understand why due to their location. I think this food has potential for its own place, I will def come back!!

I'd have to say the Tuna here is very fresh. I ordered the Hawaiian Poke Bowl (tuna, brown rice, seaweed salad, onions, avocado, ginger) and the Tropical Poke Bowl (tuna, mango, coconut, corn, salsa and brown rice). I only give this place 4 stars instead of 5 stars because of the portion size. The bowls are on the pricer side with the small portion of rice and toppings. You can go to SusHi and get a bowl with however many toppings as you'd like for around $10. The bowls here are around $13. It was a nice first try with fresh ingredients.

I thoroughly enjoyed my poke bowl that I got here! The cutest local place that sells local items. All the items were very fresh and I made my own bowl but the choices they have are wonderful! Nice to have multiple options in one place. The avocado is extra (per usual) but definitely added a wonderful flavor and great texture. They did well handling the social distancing aspect and everything is served to go. The place only has a few tables inside.

I am always on the hunt for good and reasonably priced poke in Orlando so Da Kine has been list for a while. As someone who doesn't eat much meat, I would have never found it inside this butcher/meat market if I wasn't looking for it, but luckily Instagram posts led me here! The build your own poke bowl concept is pretty common these days, and it's nice that at Da Kine you have the option to load your bowl up with extras such as veggies, mango, and crispy wontons. There's no limit on the add ons and the only two premium toppings ($1 extra) are seaweed salad and avocado. Masago (super flavorful fish eggs) is not and extra charge which is great since it's usually in the premium toppings category. The bowl itself was the perfect size for $12 but you have the option to double the fish for an extra $6 if you're starving. The single portion is enough for a meal in my opinion. The fish was fresh and delicious and I decided to add 2 sauces- soy and spicy mayo. The masago plus all the veggies gave it a sufficient amount of flavor but next time I would ask for a little extra soy sauce. There's also no water available unless you purchase a Dasani water bottle since it's not a typical restaurant. There's a nice outdoor patio where you can sit and enjoy your poke bowl but it comes in a plastic take out container already if you've gotta go. You can also buy fish and crab cakes here if you want some at home sushi, shrimp, or salmon. The affordability and quality of Da Kine has convinced me to come back and enjoy another poke bowl and they even have a rewards system where your 10th bowl is free, so only 8 more to go for me!

Da Kine Poke is an amazing find in the Orlando area. The Poke was really fresh. Every ingredient was seasoned and complimented one another. I had the Diablo and it was just the right amount of spice and flavor. I would highly recommend coming here to check the spot out. It's inside the meat market so if you're bringing friends who don't like Poke Bowls (who are these people you choose to be friends with?) they have some really awesome sandwiches, but honestly just get the Poke. You won't regret it.

Build your own Poke bowl or choose a signature bowl! When you walk in you will see a clipboard with the menu. If you're going to create your own bowl just mark down which items you want in your bowl. You can choose as much or little toppings as you would like. Toppings like avocado and seaweed salad are $1 extra each. Options for sauces. After you have filled out the menu take it over to the cashier. Portions are big enough for meal for 1 person. I recommend creating your own bowl. I usually get mine with salmon, scallions, nori, seaweed salad, pickles radish, cucumber, and massago. Delicious fresh tasting bowls! No parking validation during lunch, only after 6pm.

Wonderfully fresh salmon and tuna. Proportionally right on with an even balance of fish and rice so you are not feeling you paid for a bowl of rice with a few bits of fish. Seasoning is also well balanced so you can taste the freshness of everything in your bowl. There are several standard choices but you can make your own with a ton of options to pair with your fish, including a variety of sauces. You can take it to go or sit at one of several outside tables.

Double Salmon El Diablo please! $19. El Diablo for $13, extra Salmon for $6 more

Eh. Nothing special... What? There isn't much to really chose from... Fish (Protein) options are Tuna or Salmon or BOTH! With White rice, brown rice or some sort of salad depending on what they have. There are many toppings and I was lazy to pick through the options so I decided to do the El Diablo bowl! Here goes.... It was VERY SALTY. It made the wrong choice.... I got it with the salad (baby Spinach at the time). I got the extra Salmon cause I am a protein freak and wasn't sure how much was actually put in. But it was pretty reasonable amount. My Diablo bowl came with rice crips, onion crips, spicy mayo, Avocado andddd that's it! and the Sriracha salt that I skipped out on. In the end i had to ask for some rice to mix into my bowl cause it was so salty... I barely tasted the salmon... Couldn't tell if the Salmon was fresh... it was smothered in Spicy Mayo. No fresh wasabi, just a bottle blend (looked like Wasabi Mayo) Environment So this place is actually INSIDE the meat shop! It isn't a stand alone place, which I thought it was.... You can't see what the person is serving you up. There is very very very very limited parking outside as there is another restaurant next door. REMEMBER, it is in the meat shop! Niceness He was nice and not friendly. not the friendliest person for a server. It was a first time and of course we are lost, he didn't care to help us out. So he just waited for us. He was nice on the other hand that he would add something in the bowl after he finished making it cause I couldn't make up my mind. I added more salmon after he already closed the bowl. ALSO we were eating it there and because it was so salty, I asked for some brown rice and he was nice to give us some! Thanks guy! Dollar $$ It starts to get pricey if you want the finer items. For one protein (Tuna or Salmon) it is $12 for the bowl. No extra charge for brown rice! For one more protein is is $6 more. For the "finer" items like seaweed salad and avocado it is $1 more. The avocado you get about a 1/4 amount. Yes Eh, I think I will skip. I don't think ill "crave" to come here one day. But if a friend want to go, I would go. #WendyWanders

The big deal about Wild Fork is their selection of meats that go through a "blast freeze" at the beginning of their sourcing in Nebraska and Colorado. The store is rectangular and not large. However, I was both surprised and impressed with the sizable selection of meats, veggies, desserts, seasonings and other food amenities. My go to so far has been the grass-fed, organic hamburger patties which are convenient and affordable. They cook up well with only a salt and pepper seasoning needed at the minimum. Incredibly disappointed in the TLB. I've been a fan for a long time, especially their dry aged…read moremeats, and am more than willing to pay for this type of product. Today, though, I noticed them selling Japanese Wagyu as: Sake Infused Dry Aged A9 Kobe Strip. This is a very scammy way of selling a product. First, meat is graded broadly on three scales - USDA (choice, prime), BMS (beef marbling scale - common in Aus), and the Japanese grading scale. (A1-A5, with most high end steaks being A4 or the gold standard, A5). https://meatnbone.com/blogs/the-clever-cleaver/meat-beef-grading-system-understanding A9 doesn't exist. A BMS 9 could be an A5. But this is mislabeled. They have also used the term A11 in their instagram account. Maybe they are confusing BMS for A-scale, or maybe they are intentionally trying to make their product seem better than competitors. Furthermore, not all Japanese Wagyu is Kobe beef. Kobe beef refers to Tajima cattle raised in Hyogo Japan. The export of this beef is highly regulated to only certain restaurants and purveyors, who will display a seal and certificate certifying the origin of the beef. It is rare, expensive, and most importantly, Bush Brothers (Local Butcher's wholesale purveyor) is not certified to sell, nor do they use in any way, the term Kobe Beef. So it is incredibly likely that this product is mislabeled. This isn't illegal (Kobe beef doesn't have a TM in the US), but it is disingenuous. https://www.kobe-niku.jp/en/contents/certification/index.html https://instagram.com/bushbros Next, "sake infused"is incredibly confusing. Is it referring to the myth that Kobe cattle are massaged with sake? Is it referred to the use of koji (fermented cooked rice) which is often used as an aging accelerant? Or did they really take Japanese Wagyu and infuse (inject, soak?) with sake? And why on earth would you do that!? It would be like making sangria with a bottle of DRC. This product is likely a A5 strip loin (which Bush Bros. does carry) that has been aged. Market price would be somewhere around $175-185/lb. (An unaged cut would be around $150/lb.) When I asked for more information on the most expensive cut of meat in their shop, I was treated with disdain and a dismissive attitude. Neither member of the staff could answer my questions other than to say "It's the highest grade of Kobe beef." To charge $215 dollars for a grade that doesn't exist, for a steak that isn't from Kobe, with an aging method that seems dubious at best, is disingenuous and plays on a lack of consumer knowledge. If The Local Butcher themselves don't know the differences here, they shouldn't sell this product. If they do, they should be ashamed of themselves.
