This is my go to spot for fresh seafood! It's located right off colonial and easy to get In and out with no issues. The staff is very friendly and you can't beat the prices. They have a great variety of seafood and I always pick up some oysters as well. read more

They charged me $60 for 1 dozen of small/medium blue crabs. Pretty insane. I didn't even realize it until I looked at my receipt when I got home. I thought I had a new seafood market, but now I can't go back. read more

This place is a gem. It's small, but perfect! There is a good array of choices. The fish smell was not pungent, granted I got there 30 mins after it opened. They work quickly and are very pleasant. I didn't realize this was right here. I usually plan to go on the other side of town for fresh fish. I'm very happy I found this place. Maybe they can scale the fish a little more, but it was sufficient. I ended up getting 5lbs of yellow tail snapper for only $35. Great price. ($5.99/lb) read more

With COVID going on they are doing great with the social distancing and cleaning. The place does not smell fishy (which to me was a surprise). I got there and wanted to buy crab legs. I got the last pack they had which were 5 clusters for $24. Not bad. They have all sorts of seafood, herbs, and spices you may need to make your seafood night. read more

I've purchased conch from this place on two separate occasions. Great customer service, clean store, and I appreciate the staff putting ice over the merch to ensure it stays cool until going home. I highly recommend this business! read more

Unless I have done poorly on my research, this is the only fish market/fish monger close to my home. This would mark my 2nd visit to this market. On both occasions I have entered and not smelled anything crazy like some other places. The market is well lit and clean. The floors are clean the windows behind which the fish are displayed are also clean. The refrigerators where they also sell frozen seafood items are clean. The section where they feature some produce items needs some TLC. It is sparsely stocked and some items look like they are past their prime. The staff, the fish mongers are as friendly as I suppose you can be if you have to be behind a cold counter all day, but they are efficient and willing to help. The cashier, he sometimes seems unapproachable and unfriendly. He tends to not speak and if asked a question, he points instead of politely walking over. The fish, I have always found to be fresh and clean. They have a wide variety, Alaskan salmon fillets, fresh fillet of cod, whole snapper, shrimp, scallops, mussels, tilapia, etc. Although, a bit on the pricey side, but I guess they can do that because like I said, they are the only fresh seafood market in the area. read more

I am on the hunt for a good, fresh seafood place that I can find live blue crab and raw oysters. Because of the reviews of this place, it was my first destination on my quest. Why 3 stars? ---- the individual I was asking wasn't very friendly. I asked about the blue crabs and she stated they are available Tue and Friday. Didn't tell me the cost. I had to ask. Twice. $3.99/lb. Ok, there are many sizes, approximately how many in a lb. Shouldn't they know this and provide the number. It was only 2 days ago which someone probably came in and bought some and tomorrow is Friday. This is individual really did not want to sell me on anything. Even after I stated I was interested in buying a bushel of crab and oysters. I did see frozen stone crab claws, pre-cracked which I totally was into. No one, and I mean no one wants to crack stone crab claws. It's ALOT of work and you can get hurt. There alot of fresh fish there but I wouldn't come here unless you are knowledgable in what you want and don't ask alot of questions bc clearly they aren't forthcoming with pricing on things not in the window. read more

This review is MY EXPERIENCE and it does not mean that yours will be the same. Upon walking into the building, the fishy smell will punch your nose in like it did mine. I thought nothing of it because it's a Fish Market! ‍ The lobby or customer area can REALLY benefit from someone spraying down and sanitizing the front of the displays and cleaning the floors. The place was a was a bit dirty and tired looking but hey. There were flies : EVERYWHERE but then again I thought it's a fish market (Keep this lack of cleanliness in your mind as you read on)! I ordered my fish and thought that it was priced really good. I was soooo excited. (ha wait for it). The staff was pretty decent, especially the guys cleaning the fish. Junior, the guy that I assume has some personal affiliation with the ownership of the place, can be a bit more personable...just a tad. Anyhow, they placed my fish on ice and packaged it well. I went straight home (10-20 mins drive). Upon arriving home, I washed the fish and thought this is fishy but should it smell this fishy but I remembered the guy at the counter swearing that the fish was "fresh". So I was like Eh he's the professional fish person and proceeded to cook said fish. FINALLY: Let me finish by thanking this fish market for single handedly giving my ENTIRE FAMILY food poisoning. Side effects were the WHOLE works : vomiting etc you NAME it! We are quite certain that it was the fish because it was the only meal the entire family shared and we had our Dr confirmed it. I really wish and I was hoping for a good seafood experience. Cleanliness and the shelf life of fresh fish should be properly monitored. It's important in the success and safety of a fish market business. This experience failed to the point of NEGATIVELY impacting our health. It certainly wasn't worth the money saved. Thanks for the near death detox fam good looking out. (Sike) read more

I'm so happy to finally have a good fish market in East Orlando! The store has been open for a few weeks now, and it still looks and smells clean inside. EXTREMELY clean. It's located next to Dunkin' Donuts, and you can get there from the Sams Club parking lot. The selection of fresh and frozen fish and seafood should give you whatever you need for your seafood feast. If you buy a whole fish, they'll be happy to clean it and cut it for you at no charge. Do I need to remind you to be sure to save the head and backbone for soup? Yes, they have specials, but you won't find them on their website. Today, tilapia fillets were $2.99/lb, fresh salmon was $5.99/ lb and whole snapper was $3.99/lb. Fresh whole tilapia were on sale for only $1.49/lb!! Edited to add: They now usually have live blue crabs and fresh oysters on the weekend. If you crave 'em, just call and ask. And a suggestion to the business: It would help if the customer service people behind the counter were able to speak and understand English. That's becoming rare in this part of town, but, c'mon. read more

I noticed this new market that opened up on Colonial Drive near Sam's Club one day. I had a recipe that required some fresh fish, so I stopped by to pick up some fresh red snapper. I walked into a store with a 20 foot showcase of all kinds of fresh fish covered in ice. I made my selection of about 3 pound snapper. One of the really important things that I appreciate was that they offered to descale and clean the fish at no charge. This to me was huge. While my fish was being cleaned up and filleted, I browsed through the store, and of course made a few additional purchases. When I receive my fish, I tipped the fishmongers. They did a superb job, because when I can cooked my fish, there was no bones inside of it. I'll definitely be back. read more

Best fresh fish and seafood available for purchase in Orlando within a reasonable price range. It's not a Whole Foods or Trader Joe's so if you are bougie this might not be the place for you. read more

Not my first time purchasing fish from this fish market. Never been disappointed before, ive always trust that the fish I'm purchasing is "real" fish and not some genetically modified crap. Purchase close to $100.00 worth of fish (red snapper) that is absolutely garbage. This red snapper did not taste like ocean caught snapper, the bones were huge and the fish was extremely fatty, not to mention bloody. Please, properly identify wild caught fish from genetically modified bull shit. D'Ocean it's your duty and responsibility to inform your customers as to what they are buying. read more

A little pricey but I guess food prices are going up around the board. Fish is very fresh. Wait time is good. They clean the fish very well.

Decided to stop in today and was very pleasantly surprised that I have an awesome fish market so close to my house! The fish is fresh and very fairly priced. Their facilities are very clean and orderly. If you care about a fishy smell, I'm not sure what you expect from a fish market, but the smell is very mild and not at all pungent; it's what you'd expect. In the time of COVID, they require masks and only allow 5 people in the store at a time, but they have a tent up for shade in case you need to wait. When I visited, I was immediately assisted. The gentlemen were kind and quick. I will be a frequent visitor. read more

It was clean, everyone followed social distancing, and customers and staff were masked. I got cod which was on sale, and some fresh delicious shrimp. I grabbed lemons, tomatoes, and onions which we perfect. I will be back! They were fabulous. They also have a cool spice rack area but the checkout I want to peruse when I have more time. read more

Great store for any type of fish! Very clean and friendly staff. Was very pleased with my visit to this fish store.

Went here on a Saturday afternoon with high hopes of getting some fresh fish. The place smelled awful, like fishy with strong cleaner dumped on it. My wife couldn't handle the smell so we left without purchasing a thing. read more

Fish is not that good and rude customer service, I will not spend my money here anymore, just go to Publix instead.

I've gone to this place just once. My first thoughts are that they have really fresh fish. The fish had clear eyes. The store didn't smell fishy, the fish didn't smell fishy, and the fish wasn't slimy. I bought shrimp, red snapper and yellow tail snapper. The shrimp were a nice size, I made shrimp scampi and the sweet, meaty, shrimp were the star. The red snapper, I ordered the smaller ones and larger ones. I've only cooked with the smaller ones and steamed them. The fish tasted great. The guys in there are pleasant, I had never been to a fish market that actually cleaned the fish for you so I kind of didn't know how to act lol but the guys in there were nice, friendly, made me laugh. Their price are higher than what I'm used to. I'd expect those prices if I didn't live so close to the ocean. Ever since real deal seafood closed in Sanford, this is the only market I know of that's in east Orlando. It's kind of out of my way, so will only go when I really crave fish. Overall, it was a nice experience, but the prices are a bit much. read more

I work on the east side of town and I saw the advertisement on the billboard for this seafood market. I finally went there and was happily surprised by the fresh selections and pricing. The staff is friendly and I found out its family owned and they also have a location on the west side. I got catfish, the whole sardines which were easy to clean on my own, mullet, and sand fish. Good news * they DO * clean, descale and cut it to your preference. That's a big plus for me. They also had live blue crabs that were priced low so I will go back again. All my fish was good and u should try the fish seasoning from there. I like using a mixed seasoning to achieve that consistent seasoned flavor on each piece. Oh and I got a few fish heads that I used to make a soup out of. Thxs D'Ocean for helping me increase my fish intake to twice a week. read more

I usually go to this place and I never had any issues, today I went there and for some reason they're behind on me, not complaining but asking if the bag was for me, there is an older guy who told me, they're cleaning my fish and if I can't wait then I should clean it myself, I was shocked that he has a gut to tell me that, if your running a business you should not say that to your paying customer.
