I've purchased a lot of fresh seafood and fish from this business over the years and I've never been disappointed. This is a very clean seafood shop no fishy smells here, the fresh seafood is packed in ice in glass cases and just waiting to be picked up for your next fresh and delicious meal. They had tons of fresh local caught seafood options. We wanted a fish head and were able to get a nice fresh mutton snapper. We couldn't walk away without getting some of the shrimp which looked great. I heard they can steam for you right there if you choose. I wrote a review on one of their Facebook pages and they completely blocked me. Understandable. I get it. They don't want bad business. I was just in there a week or two ago and bought a hundred clams from them and the owner was phenomenal. But whoever answered the phone today was absolutely rude. Well worth the drive from Deltona! Place is super clean, bright and inviting. Zero fishy smell and the cases were spotless. The whole fish had bright eyes and shiny skin and looked like they were fresh out of the water. Full service, they'll clean and fillet for you as soon as you pick it out. Great selection of fresh and frozen and the first time I've seen lion fish in a long time (eat invasives!). The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and even give you cooking tips if you ask. I love this place. We have been coming here for years both at the current location and their old location. Such personable staff. The service has always been courteous and the fish fresh and tasty. We have purchased all types of seafood here and have always been pleased. Portion control has been a difficult issue when I shop alone. I seem to over buy. However, even that is not a problem. Worst case scenario, I have fish for two days instead of just one. The current location has plenty of parking and is still conveniently located. Kings has all the spices you need as well. The reason I like this place so well is that I can have a huge seafood dinner, with fresh products at a price a lot more affordable than at a restaurant. The place down the road from us closed down, so I drove an extra 10 mins and am happy I did. My husband loves spearing and fishing so we aren't onces to eat frozen or farm raised and this place was on point. Hubby was stoked when I came back with beautiful grouper and snapper. read more

He told us of his plans to open another area for customers and lamented a bit about parking lacking on this relatively small lot. He had to walk a fine balance between parking off a relatively fast road (A1A) and the space for this place, but if you can pull in quickly (going north), you'll find a tidy shop with great quality fish. No, the fish is not the cheapest you might find, but the quality and freshness are what you are paying for. We had a few cuts of two different fish that we took home and enjoyed them both.
