I had been here before, but this time I truly realized how reasonably priced the fresh fruits and vegetables are. They also have a great meat section. I ended up having a little cheat day and enjoyed a delicious soft serve with fresh strawberries -- it was so good! The staff members were very friendly, especially the cashier who helped me at the register. Her smile felt so genuine, and it honestly made me want to come back again. I even decided to pick up some peanut butter while I was there. The store was very clean and well organized, which made shopping comfortable and enjoyable. I shop at other grocery stores too, but this place is definitely becoming one of my favorites. You can also bring your own reusable bags, which is a nice bonus. The parking lot can be a little difficult on weekends, but overall I highly recommend this place! read more

I've had this barn-style market saved in my Yelp folder for quite a while now. I live about two hours away, and whenever I'm in Orlando I usually get sucked into the whole Disney Springs vibe and never make it to all the other amazing local businesses. This trip, though, there was absolutely no Disney involved -- and we finally stopped here on our way home Sunday morning. I feel like you know you're getting older when you get excited about grocery shopping. Normally when I go to Publix, I'm irritated before I even get inside. But this place? A completely different experience. Walking through and seeing all the locally grown vegetables and the meat selection -- clearly labeled as hormone-free and without all the extra junk you get at typical grocery stores -- was honestly mind-blowing. The prices were so reasonable I couldn't believe it. I purposely brought a cooler for the two-hour drive home, and even with everything I bought, I didn't spend over $100. If I had purchased the same items at Publix, I'm convinced I would've been close to (or over) $200. Beyond the prices, the quality and overall vibe made it so enjoyable. You're not breaking the bank feeding your family, and you feel good knowing you're getting better-quality food. The staff was incredibly sweet and genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs. I was looking for boneless chicken, and one of the employees asked if that's what I needed. A few minutes later, he came back with multiple packs in his hands to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and I really appreciated it. One thing to know: the produce and meat sections are in two separate, unconnected rooms, so you check out separately in each. And if you're still riding that high from all the money you saved, there's soft-serve ice cream outside with seating -- which just makes the experience even better. For someone who truly despises grocery shopping, this was actually fun. I will absolutely make a special trip to Orlando just to come back here -- and next time, I'm bringing a bigger cooler. read more

I was in the area and I decided to stop at fresh Feeld Farms. I used to come to the grocery store a lot when I lived in the area however it is a little bit more of a drive for me however, today I decided to stop. I got a rack of ribs, ground pork, two packs of chicken, tenderloins, and a salmon fillet all for $36 and then I went over to the produce section and I got two bags of spinach. They had a two for five deal, I got some peeled garlic for four dollars and I got some tomatoes and two very large potatoes all for $13. I absolutely love this grocery store however, I wish there was one a little bit closer to my house. They have great prices for all their raw fish, raw meat, and fresh produce. 10/10 I had a list with me so I was in and out in about 20 minutes . read more

The best place to get the freshest fruit and veggies these days... and AFFORDABLE chicken. I've been a fan and patron of Freshfields Farm since I moved here a few years ago. You can get a pack of chicken thighs for $2 a pound; a pack of fresh herbs for $1.66 each; 4 bunches of parsley for like $3; a HUGE pack of eggs for under $10. And everything is tastier and fresher than most places these days. Also... if you haven't tried the soft serve ice cream sundae... This is a MUST. I love their strawberry sundaes- fresh cut strawberries over a large bowl of vanilla soft serve, served with pieces of waffle bowl. I call it "waffle nachos" because I use the pieces of waffle bowl to scoop up the strawberries and soft serve and eat it like nachos. The whole thing is under $5 and is my favorite ice cream in town. Their $2 hot dogs are pretty decent for a quick bite to eat. The only downside is that they close at 6pm everyday. Weekends get a little packed, but the lines to buy groceries go pretty quickly. There's plenty of parking- I don't think I've ever had an issue finding a space. Overall, my favorite place to shop when I'm able to make it before 6pm! Love it. read more

I have been wanting to come here for years and finally did. Whether you are in the produce or meat section, both makes it as a path that leads you to the check out area. Prices are very decent and can tell the products are fresh. Got to support our locals! Then ended my shopping at their little ice cream stand that is between the areas. Gotten a caramel cup which was a decent size for 4.25 (after tax). I did wish was w bit more ice cream than whipped cream. Yet that is just my own opinion read more

The reason I didn't take any pics is the same as the reason I didn't feel about dropping that last star - it's not the most relaxing shopping experience at times. Maybe it's me and I need to switch up my routines, but when it's busy enough that there are only like 2 or 3 grocery carts left...I can't be taking pics like a tourist. But that traffic just goes to show - definitely worth a trip. I'm not sure why the produce has a separate checkout from the meats, but both sides feature reasonably priced and fresh selections. Beware of the intoxicating smell of waffle cones being made at the concession counter that sells soft serve, hot dogs, and turkey legs. Also, most items don't incur sales tax (agricultural products being purchased directly from the producer). If I do figure out the sweet spot to come when it's less packed, I'm not telling y'all. How did I not know if this place before? Freshfields Farm is a GEM! They have farm fresh vegetables and fresh meat for a fraction of the price than other places like Walmart, Target and Publix. The amount of different vegetables and meat is outstanding. After buying your vegetables and meat they have a little ice cream shop that you can pick up a sweet little treat! Chaos? Average produce and meats? Having to wait in two separate lines for meat and produce? If you answered yes to all those questions you've probably been here. Not only were the clientele rude and acting like it was 5 a.m. on Black Friday, the employees were not exactly helpful or respectful either. I don't think the produce was anything special or priced well and the steaks we got were just fine. I'll stick to Publix and the Farmers Market. The only saving grace was the yummy ice cream stand in the center, although we were the ONLY customers at the moment and the four women working the stand "forgot" about our order while they chatted for ten minutes. read more

Parking can be a bit of a struggle, but people generally move in and out of there pretty quick. I have an office down the street and just recently discovered this supermarket . I absolutely love the fresh veggies and fruits . My husband enjoys the steak selection. The ice cream shop in the middle is just a plus . The pineapple strawberry ice cream is simply the best. Depending on the person that makes it, sometimes you get a great one like the first picture I uploaded lol. The second one was served by a girl that didn't really care to be there. :/ Either way .... Freshfield farms is an Orlando gem for mainly meat and produce. They also have a few dairy products, seasonings, nuts, etc. Most of the items are fresh from local farms and places that care about the nature of food. You will not have to worry about the food looking weird and questionable if anything it's so fresh so of the fruit is not ripe yet! The prices are fair inexpensive especially for this time with inflation. Plus, they have a treat shop of ice cream sundaes, sandwiches and other snacks. A must try when you go, especially with the waffle cones that are freshly made that you can smell when you walk up.. so good! Definitely recommend and the staff is nice and welcoming! read more

I enjoy going to Freshfields farm. It's nice to be able to have a one stop shop for my produce needs. The store is clean and well lit. The store has a one way layout. So once your in, the flow moves you right through the store and to the register. There's a wide variety of produce but I will say that it's best to arrive early because high demand food sell out fast. I do wish the store stayed open later than 6pm but the store is open 7 days a week. The staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are good. There is actually 2 stores. One store has all produce and the other store houses all the meat. Meat prices are great! You can also get a sweet treat at the ice cream shop in between the stores. Freshfields farm is centrally located downtown. Easily identifiable and easy to get to. Would say that there could be more parking. When this place gets crowded, parking goes fast. read more

Holy guacamole. Prices for meat that are reasonable?! Where I can stock up on 20-30lbs of meat for under $100. Sold. I dislike how far I have to drive and at times, the ridiculousness that is the parking lot. But the prices are more than fair (and sometimes even better if they have good sales going on). Stop paying for meat at Publix and other places that are overpriced. Make the drive, go get your meat from Freshfield Farms. If I could give six stars, I would! First of all, shout out to Bill in the parking lot picking up the carts and greeting the customers, he is such a ray of sunshine! Once you enter the fresh fruit section, everything is well organized and coordinated. It is almost like a fruit and vegetable dream! A lot of the items there are local and the prices are very reasonable. I am so excited to finally be able to come here. It is quite a journey from my home, but I was in the area for a doctors appointment and I will always go there to grab my produce when in the area. They have a separate meat section which does not even smell bad! I was truly surprised when I walked in there. Everything is nice and neat and I did not see 1 ounce of blood anywhere. The cashiers are very nice and friendly and the store was very clean. I love that they have an ice cream section although I did not have an opportunity to try it. I like the produce and the meat are separated and there are two separate entrances as well. The parking is very easy to get into and they also have curbside pick up! I love this place, go there, you will not regret it. The variety is amazing, they have fresh herbs, they have ground peanut butter and local honey. I love that everything is prepackaged and they even have some fruits already peeled for you if you'd like. Awesome place, just awesome! read more

My wife and I, ok full credit, my wife accidentally found this store while shopping in the area (Clean Eatz). My wife had heard of the store so we poked our heads in and found the meat house to be very clean, friendly staff, extremely reasonably priced products, dare I say...... cheap!!!, nah I'll stick to reasonable for the season... also they have some really fresh produce on the other side of the market. The really cool part is that they sell snack food to enjoy before or after shopping. I chose the chocolate ice cream, it hit the spot on a hot day. We are definitely planning on driving the hour to take advantage of the "reasonable" priced gem in Orlando. Hope to see you there! read more

Freshfields Farm is an almost iconic part of the Orlando landscape. I have heard about this place from so many people and while I do like it, I do not believe it should have such a mythical reverence attached to the place. Most mention the great deals on meats and while they are ok, they are nothing too incredibly priced. Well, save for one thing. On one of my recent trips to Freshfields Farm, they had pound packages of Hebrew National hot dogs for $1.99 a package. A very good deal, however I think it bears mentioning that they were getting closer to their expiration date. Not a big deal, I just went home and threw them in the freezer (except for a package that I cooked up and served with my homemade hot dig chili sauce). They also have a produce area. Same thing, they are ok priced, but nothing too amazing. Parking is ok, though it can get a bit busy (as I had mentioned, this place is an iconic and revered place here in Orlando). Overall, I would recommend here. read more

They offer online orders now too with a drive up curbside pick up. There's staff around if you have questions but it's kind of a self explanatory situation. My MIL enthusiastically shared her haul from here so I had to check it out. It's a unique setup with produce being in one building and meat in the other.
