I ordered the build Your Own bowl with 3 scoops of protein for $14, plus $4 for add-ons like kimchi and crab. All other toppings, wet and dry were unlimited. I loaded it with just about every topping they had. It was delicious and had very generous amounts. I was able to make a couple of meals out of it. Since it was my first time ordering, I received a complimentary strawberry watermelon swirl dole whip. This was very sweet so I could only eat a few bites. However, it was very good and refreshing on a hot day. I wish we had one of these in Clermont. I am definitely going to have this again next time I'm in town. read more

The quality was terrible. The salmon looked cooked for some reason and tasted like it came from a can? The tuna was pale. I just expected the fish to be sushi-grade but it was inedible. The avocado was very brown. The wasabi cream tasted like sour cream. The sauce didn't taste like anything at all. It just made the rice wet. The overall flavor was an old fishy taste. For my toppings , I asked for the spicy pickled vegetables. I also added masago, which is an extra 1.5 dollars. I decided to have this togo so I can enjoy it at home. When it came to pay, I had a 25 percent coupon from dining advantage. However, the hostess at the counter had to call her manager as she didn't know how to ring it up. 5 minutes later, she was able to ring it and I got this meal for a total of almost 13 dollars. When I got home, it was nicely sealed in a bowl. Just like the Lake Mary location, everything was so good inside. The pickled vegetables had a nice sourness while still tasting fresh. All the fish tasted fresh and were tender, but I thought one would be a bit spicy as I ordered that version. However, the pickled jalapenos helped add a small kick. The sauces tasted delicious, and the house sauce added some great flavor, as well as the avocado creme sauce too. The masago has a nice crunch as I really enjoy fish eggs. I really find island fin to be a great chain for Orlando, and the Windermere location is no exception. The food and service was great. The restaurant is an order at the counter/select your own ingredients kind of place similar to a chipotle. They have ALL the goodies and toppings that you could ever want on a poke bowl. Most of the ingredients are free they do have a few premium toppings, like avocado and crab that you would have to pay additional for. Absolutely love this place. I've tried poke in different restaurants around Orlando, but nobody takes the cake like Island Fin. Me plus a few others ordered online in the past for curbside pickup, and everything came out fast and exceeded our expectations as far as quality. My friend and I came in tonight to grab some dinner to go, as their online ordering seemed to be off for the night (about 30 mins before close at 9pm). The customer service here is wonderful! Staff is super friendly and excited to tell you about their food. Everything is fresh and the line and the restaurant all together are kept super clean. A man who I assume is the GM or owner helped me build my perfect bowl as well as let me taste different sauces and suggested other items for my bowl, based on my flavor preferences. He was super happy to help and had a wonderful attitude. You can tell he's proud of what he does and we love to see that! The bowl ingredients are super fresh and delish. They have lots of different toppings and mix ins to choose from, the combinations are literally endless so you can have a different flavor in every bite if you like variety. I pack lots of stuff into my bowl (I'll spare you those details) and everything is a beautiful mix. I definitely recommend the togarashi and the ono ono sauce! Adds lots of flavor. They add lots of rice as a base, so no matter how many toppings you get, you're sure to be full or have leftovers for later. We are from Southern California where poke is everywhere, so I myself am pretty picky to say the least. Not to mention, I am a BIG stickler about customer service. With that said, the customer service was incredible! Im not sure what his name is, on the receipt is says "Lead M", he was a young man with brown hair, worked the closing shift tonight (May 6th). It was our first time here and the gentleman that helped us was SO freaking nice, so patient with my and my husbands order and questions, and was so attentive even when we were already sitting down and eating. His manners towards his management was impressive, he used "sir" and "maam" when responding to them, which in 2021, is such an impressive trait and habit to have these days. The poke tasted fresh and pretty good even though it was close to closing. If we were staying on vacation longer, we would come back solely because of the customer service of the server/cashier.
