Beautiful presentation of sushi, especially for an all you can eat. Located in a unsuspecting place, a strip mall inside of a building. Though the location was out of the ordinary, they make the most of it. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the value of the meal was worth the price. There were many options, and the staff were willing to make adjustments. I noticed on the menu there were a lot of items with cream cheese, but they were happy to swap out for something else like avocado or cucumber. I would definitely visit again!

Honestly very disappointed and would love a refund if I could get it. The place was very cute, so they get a star for the decor... that's all unfortunately. We ordered our food to go, California roll - asked for spicy mayo on top, The Special, and edamame. It took forever to get the order, which I get.. it was dinner time. But $14 for a California roll, and they couldn't even put the spicy mayo on top!? What? The special was just rice, seaweed, and very very dry cooked salmon. None of the cucumber or anything else the special seemed to describe. The edamame was just okay... very disappointed in the "hidden" sushi.

The service was very attentive, and helpful with menu suggestions in clarifications. I also appreciated the fact that I could adjust the menu items and not have cream cheese since it looks like just about every single item included some amount. I don't like a lot of the dairy products and cream cheese is just a filler which most all you can eat restaurants include a ton to get you full. Surprisingly the sushi did not have an over abundance of rice which I like! Although $40 is a lot for all you can eat place, I found it to be reasonable although I would've appreciated much more variety in their offerings. Few restaurants, give unlimited sashimi these days. However, it was only four different types of fish. Somehow, the imitation crab meat doesn't seem right. But, they never balked at the number of pieces I asked for in Salmon, which was very good. Most of the rolls in individual pieces Incorporated Salmon so they must have a lot of it. And cream cheese! The highlight which was recommended by the waitress was the special salmon nigiri. It was torch seared with an injection of Ponzi sauce. Very creative! Other than the unlimited sashimi, but only really two choices which are salmon and tuna, I don't know if it would be on the same league as other AYCE sushi places. I do appreciate the prompt service and the food presentations were very well done with the dry ice Smoke and the carefully designed Salmon floral displays. If it had more fish options, I would think it could be a player.

What an amazing experience this was! I will definitely be back! As the name implies, this restaurant is hidden away in a small shopping center that you have to look for to find! The restaurant itself is small, but intimately spaced. The service was excellent! The waitress took her time explaining the menu, how to order and her recommendations! Everything we had in the pictures was excellent! The mushrooms and nacho appetizers were very tasty! The Djo's, the salmon wrapped rice with toppings were my favorite! Extremely delicious and flavorful! The dessert was nice too! Not overly sweet, but a perfect end to the meal!

The food was pretty yummy. They were not kidding when they said the temaki were big. Come hungry! lol We got here right at 6pm and they didn't open until 6:10-ish. Not I big deal but I was kinda confused because I didn't realize were the line was. The inside is super cute and trendy. Lots of lanterns and subtle colors.

Sushi was alright. I liked the passionfruit salmon sushi, it tasted the best out of all of them. The service was really bad. It took forever to get a lemonade and our sushi as well. The intervals between the platters was very long. The ambiance was really nice though and comfortable.

As a sushi lover I was really excited to try this new location. It is in a small plaza, more or less a tourist area so parking is not difficult. The overall decor and space is comfortable, not huge because of the location but it can fit a good amount of people. However, the sushi is left to be desired. I am not a huge fan of fried rolls, it makes the sushi heavy and takes away from the fish. Most of the rolls were fried with Doritos chips. If you like your sushi more on the crunchier and heavy side this would be a good spot for to visit. The wait staff was friendly but they did not seem organized at all. At one point a waitress placed apps on our table, turns away then turns back and grabs it off of our table because we actually did not order apps. I understand mistakes happen but besides my table, there were only two other tables being served. Overall I would not visit this sushi place again.

This made-to-order sushi restaurant has a unique twist. There is 8 ways you can order sushi including uramaki, temaki, djo, carpaccio, sashimi, nigri, hot roll, & hossomaki. (Don't worry they explain it with pictures too!) You'll find sushi with Brie & nuts, coxinha with salmon, and many other unique options. AYCE menu is $40 per adult & $20 per kid. This restaurant stays true to its name -- it's inside a mini mall

We were here in October when they were having a weekday deal around $30/person. There was so much variety of food including some Brazilian sushi specialties like djo. It's salmon wrapped around a filling, no rice. I don't like sushi with cream cheese but I tried the djo with cream cheese and passion fruit and it was really good. A lot of their sushi has cream cheese so we mainly stayed with sashimi and carpaccio. The octopus carpaccio was my least favorite. They have you order from the menu in courses but you can order additional from prior courses. The cuts on the raw fish were not consistent as our meal progressed. There were only two sushi chefs working at the counter but only five tables had customers. I follow them on fb and they seem to have staffing issues. It was a good meal for sure and great value at the price we paid. Not sure if I would pay closer to $40/person but only because we don't eat that much. It's located in a strip mall off I drive so lots of traffic. Most of the stores were closed so parking was not an issue. Give them a try.

Delicious and fresh sushi restaurant. I visited on a Thursday night, they were having an all you can eat dinner for a set price and BOGO drinks. Service was good, great atmosphere for any occasion. Definitely recommend.

This was such a neat and unique experience! My family loved getting to handpick our sushi plates. They had a lot of options which even included dessert and dinner. The server we had was kind and explained menu items well. I also really liked the art on the walls and the overall ambiance. Parking was plentiful. Great spot!

WOW. I am so glad we chose to step in for date night. The whole experience was new to us and we were blown away! Food was INCREDIBLY FRESH and so tasty!! Especially the Hot Rolls. Our server, Lucas was so friendly and offered great recommendations. Will definitely be making this a regular spot.

Two of us went for our first visit on Wednesday night and were the first seated once they opened. Felipe was our server and he made us feel welcomed, he was attentive and wonderful in explaining how the endless sushi worked. He made great recommendations for us! We ordered in small 2 piece counts just so we could try as much as possible before getting full but next time we visit I think we'll get larger orders of our favorites. Everything came out super quickly, salmon is my favorite and it's in a lot of their dishes so I was super pleased. Their unique take on sushi was delicious - we loved the flavor profiles that included guava, pineapple, brie cheese, and caramelized onions. The hot sushi crisp fried outside was light enough that you could eat a lot of them. Felipe recommended the Guarana soda and it complimented everything nicely. We ended with a combo of the banana and ice cream - the cinnamon mixed into the banana and chocolate really made it extra special. We really enjoyed dinner and can't wait to come back!

    Is it a sushi buffet?

No, it is not a buffet. It is all you can eat but you will order from the menu. Don't waste because you will be charged, so starts ordering few pieces each time .

    Do they have cooked rolls?

Yes! They have raw, cooked, fried, and even lightly torched or seared rolls! The menu has a lot of options, even the AYCE.

Can someone tell me the price? Much appreciated.

    I believe it's 25 per a person

Now for the food! We had gotten the beef skewer and chicken skewers as appetizers and let me tell you they were probably the best meat skewers that I've had in a Izakaya style Japanese restaurant. It did have a slight kick to it but I liked it. Distinguished Gentleman: was great. The meat was tender and it had good flavor and my kids enjoyed it as a more kid friendly sushi, but I also enjoyed one bite that I was able to sneak before the kids devoured it. Shrimp Tempura roll (specially made for allergies): Standard goodness! I also almost forgot, I had gotten King Salmon nigiri and also eel nigiri, salmon was good! Normal salmon vibes 4/5 but the eel...probably the most disappointing menu item tbh. Tasted like the frozen Asian grocery store eel, just underwhelming and not a little tough. 2/5 wouldn't order again. but Overall, it was everything was great, we had good service and good food! It's a bit expensive but I Would come back!

Sushi Tomi is one of the original secret Asian American staples of Orlando that opened in 2013 back when Orlando was known as Mickey Mouse's backyard. It's decently priced, albeit far, and provides a nice sense of comfort. We went on a week night and they were still super busy. Located closer to East Colonial area, it's at 8463 S John Young Pkwy, Orlando, FL 32819. Their claim to fame are their bento boxes and different lunch and dinner sets, which is to say you will leave full with a balanced meal. I won't lie, I have been wanting to go for the longest time. I felt like some kid pressing his face up against a window, just watching everyone go and enjoy their meal. So this was really great for me, personally. I got their dinner tempura and sushi set. The set came with miso soup and salad as well as a variety of meats and veggies that had been tempura coated and fried with a side of rice. I also ordered a sparkling jelly sake drink, a tamago nigiri and eel nigiri. My overall portion costed about $45 without tip. The set gets a 8.5/10 rating from me. I kinda wish I just went with the tempura set instead of trying to have the best of both worlds. Not that the sushi was bad or anything, but the tempura was really the star of the show. It was so fresh and crispy and light and amazing with the sauce they served it with. The sushi was fine and well made, I just had heart eyes for the tempura. The tamale nigiri and the eel nigiri was good, but not the best I have ever had. They had other things on their menu, but I really recommend going here for Japanese basic meals or comfort meals. I think it's not dazzling, but provides you with a sense of comfort. Not to mention the service was amazing, and it truly was authentic and not gentrified. My overall rating is 9/10 for the whole experience. I will be back whenever I am in the area.

Service is quick and the food is fantastic. I use miso soup as a test for how good a place is and theirs was exactly how I like it, small cubes of fresh tofu, reasonably sized wakame, and not too much of any one ingredient. The miso was a milder white but nicely salty and flavorful. You could tell they didn't just phone it in and open an instant packet. I had their curry rice with a pork katsu and it was one of the best I've had in the area. The curry tasted homemade and leaned a bit towards the sweeter side but with a tiny hint of spice. It came with pickles which were just the thing to cut the richness. I also got their spicy garlic edamame which is my second favorite (Sushi Katana by the Milennia Mall has the best IMO). The onigiri was nothing special but great rice consistency and filled with bonito flakes and soy or umeboshi. There are a lot of dishes you don't find on most menus here like salted grilled mackerel fillet and croquettes. Funny enough there's very little sushi for a place with sushi in the name but I was ok with that because their kitchen food is what to come for. I also love that it has the vibe of a small Japanese restaurant with the option to sit at the counter and give you that "salaryman on a quick lunch" vibe.

However, it is quite fun, when we got there on a Saturday night, they were having a Taylor Swift look alike performance. I absolutely loved it. It turned out it was happening every hour so we were able to watch her perform twice. They also had someone selling jewelry and an artist painting, overall it is such a fun vibe. If you want a standard table, you need to make a reservation, I made a reservation like 15 minutes before and they only had outdoor seating and high tops available. We chose a high top and it was fine. They do have a kids menu so my son was able to order a cheese pizza with a side of fries and the other one ordered a chicken quesadilla with a side of fruit. On the kids menu it says cheese quesadilla but he really wanted chicken, I was surprised the chicken was a bit spicy. He ate a couple bites and then asked for his own cheese pizza after seeing his brothers. All the plates are meant to be shared so they come out whenever they're ready. My older son's cheese pizza came out immediately and then my younger son's chicken quesadilla came out after all our food had been delivered. I think this is what made him want a cheese pizza because he didn't have his own meal for majority of the time we were eating. When we finally ordered his cheese pizza it then took a long time to come out. I'm guessing it's because it's woodfired and his pizza was behind a ton of other pizzas whereas with my older son we must've ordered at a good time. My absolute favorite dish was the marinated cucumbers. It was a light and delicious. It reminds me of what I find at a Japanese restaurant. I also got the butter chicken, it was OK. I didn't find the chicken super tender so I would skip it next time. We also got the maple glazed chicken wings. I found the breading to be overly salty. I ended up taking off all of the breading and my younger son ate a ton of the chicken. I would skip it next time. We got the steak skewers, which were pretty delicious. Again didn't love it so probably would get something else next time. My husband did not like his ribs so he definitely should skip that next time. So overall, the food was OK, but my kids absolutely destroyed their pizza and I love the atmosphere, which is why I'm giving this place four stars. I see that it has great potential. If parking is a problem, I recommend parking at icon park and walking because it's about five minutes away. Our server was super nice, she was a bit slow, but she also had a giant table next to us, which could've contributed to that. I would definitely come back. I enjoyed our experience here.
