Went here last night, my mother and I stood in the line, saw the woman writing tickets for what we would order, just the order number like "the #8" or "the #7 on wheat". She told us all condiments and toppings are ordered in line. (Importand detail: white slip goes to JM Employee, carbon yellow goes to me) My sons 8 was supposed to be without mayo. I said it to the lady but she was in the process of putting condiments on, I get it, habit. But then scraped it off like he wouldn't notice. As I was going to say, I will take it another lady said "just throw it away and use a new one." the mayo girl was basically enraged at this point. Like I insulted her bloodline somehow. So when it came to have my sandwich made I said "with mayo" and she mumbled something. I said "are you ok?" because she is having THE WORST DAY EVER. I also asked for Banana Peppers and because the woman was so furious she was making sandwiches at dinner rush at an airport I said " Can I have banana peppers? Would that be alright?" and the lady that said to toss the mayo top said "absolutely!" and was nice and kind. We had ordered 4 sandwiches, 3 cold and 1 hot. We got the three cold like the pains in the ass these employees (minus the one) made us feel like we were, and the Manager running the cash register cashed us out. Took the ticket line lady wrote out and did up our order. It was at this point that I realized I forgot the two bags of chips my wife requested so I stood and waited to pay for those seperatly. My wife's hot sub was done and handed to me while busy manager dealt with a lady getting five drinks. Again, I get it, busy at a busy place. So when she came back to me I said "just the two chips" and she said "what sandwhich did you get?" and I said that I had already paid. She insinuated that there was no way that was possible. (we had in fact paid for all four, I just needed to pay for the chips at this point.) She was NOT going to let me leave the line without getting paid for the sandwhich and started arguing with me that we paid for four sandwhiches and that was the 5th, being SO HOSTILE. I lost it, I am trying to do the right thing, by paying for the chips when I could have EASILY just grabbed the two bags of chips and walked away and not a single person would have known. I demanded she get me the slip. She did and looked at it first before and saw we had the 3 colds and 1 hot. So I started asking "what does it say??" and showed her my yellow slip. She never said "you were right" or "I'm sorry" like that would take cash out of her tip or improve this interaction... no. She continued to be hostile, "The SandWitch" Guardian of Mikes. There are so many other choices to eat at the airport, stay clear of that one. And to those two ladies, there are so many other places that weren't as busy you could apply to rather than take your hostility out on us. read more

There were 2 employees working but both on their phones when k entered so after about 5 mins I asked if I could place my order to go. Once my ordered was placed a few other customers walked in and the other employee walked to the back like she didn't see them. I see associates cleaning and having fun! I immediately knew this is a good stop. Walk in? Staff? So fun and professional! The restaurant clean and inviting. I ordered the Philly Cheesteak. Yea. In this sad desert of sandwich mediocrity, Jersey Mike's is a culinary oasis. Freshly cut, quality cold cuts are the foundation for a good sandwich. It is sad that the other sub chains don't see this and expect us, their hungry customer base, to accept subpar food. Growing up in New Jersey, I was fortunate enough to know what a great sandwich is. Jersey Mike's is a solid sub place and one of my favorites of the sub chains. This location is always on point with order speed and accuracy, whether in store or take out. I've tried several different sub varieties, but I usually go with the club supreme since it has roast beef, turkey, and bacon. The meats and cheeses here always taste fresh and I enjoy the herbed oil they add to sandwiches. The only thing I'd love to see in the future is the ability to heat all subs. I prefer most of the components of the cold subs but I really like my subs warm so I often take it to go and heat at home. Also some additional side options other than chips would be awesome! This location on South Semoran is very disorganized. They do a lot of online orders but don't have a separate area or markers for these like Chipotle and practically every other place does. Their system is to shout out the person's first name when the sub is ready and place it on the far end of the counter, whether the person is dining in or called in an order, or online. So I waited 10 minutes for my steak sub to be done and they did their thing of shouting my name out...but before I could get there someone else (apparently with the same first name) took the sub as they were waiting for their online order, and that person left the building with my sub by mistake. I tried to explain to the staff members that sometimes different people have the same first name and that their system was awful. That they needed at a minimum to use the identifying number on the ticket since that number is unique. Especially since they are putting the subs in brown bags with no tag on it of whose order it is so it is easy for someone to take the wrong one with their current "system". But it quickly became apparent I wasn't dealing with intelligent life forms so I just left. Never going back to this location and I advise no one else too unless you like having your time wasted. read more
