This place deserves a zero star review but that is NO OPTION but it should be. The Crazy Buffet was literally crazy, everything was cold as my grandpas dead body. The customer service was unprofessional after I kindly yelled at the lady at the front because my food was cold. I only called her a bad word or two but she told me that I smelt like a wet dog. They also had Hot Steam trays that were pretty cool except for the fact that they did the opposite of there job. They made food colder than ice. There was some cabbage stuff that was cooked but it was kind of like coleslaw. Do not recommend unless you would like to be burned by a tray and then frozen by food. The beef was over cooked and hard to chew and swallow. Everything was overly salty. The sauce for the beef/chicken broccoli was also very salty. There's not much variety for the sushi. The clams had a lot of sand, it wasn't soaked properly. The skinny Angel noodles had hard pieces in it and the ribs were over cooked. The fruits were bruised badly but still served and cut. The customer service is very unprofessional after doing a terrible job cooking habachi that was uncooked shrimp, no flavor, and hard lo mein that was dry. I recently had the opportunity to visit this place and try their food. Florida doesn't have a lot of good reviews on buffets I noticed. So decided to Give this place a try and see if the reviews were the same. Upon arrival you are greeted at the cashier to pre-pay and choose your beverages. I am kind of used to this type of setting as they do this in NY as well this is just to make sure you don't walk out without paying some build the tip in the buffets ahead of Time. Next you are seated at your table. The setting was a little busy for a Saturday night given Mother's Day weekend. There was a variety of different dishes ranging from American, Seafood,Chinese Hibachi, Sushi and deserts. There are also vegetarian options as well. You are allowed a 2 hour limit to dine which is a lot of time to eat and continue to serve other guests. The place overall was clean, they were wiping down tables, quickly taking used plates away and most especially the turnover for food was good. Everything coming out was fresh. There are so many options to choose from it's hard to decide what to eat. The food was tasty and hot. This is the one on OBT. They have real plates and silverware. Overall was very happy with service and food. Would definitely come back. Positives - our server Vicky was good. Quiet and attentive with plates and refills. - most foods were hot and fresh - miso soup, egg drop soup and even pho were good. Egg drop especially. Hot n sour was good but missing something. Enjoyed the string beans, mixed veggies, garlic shrimp (has a kick); pork buns (delish), pan fried dumplings, chicken and broccoli. Family enjoyed their dishes as well. Only 2 negative - they charge kids by height. My ten year old is a tall freak so i was charged full price but that's ok since food and service was good. Sushi options- need to stop putting all these unnecessary sauces on every roll. No California roll. Limited choices but looked edible. Food is pretty good. It's my wife and daughter's go-to for something affordable where we can stuff our faces. The sausage is probably one of my favorites as it tastes like it was cooked with brown sugar. They also have the crazy steak that's pretty good as well. Can't go wrong with all you can eat. And you pay in advance with tip so once you're done, you can leave without waiting. Too much stuff to do in Orlando to wait around for checks! Staff are also very friendly and welcoming. read more

I really wished I had read the recent reviews of the restaurant. I am a very adventurous eater and I love Chinese food but something wasn't quite right about the taste. Almost all of the food was overcooked. The dessert tasted like air and the grapes had seeds so it was inconvenient to eat. One very concerning issue was that the sushi was not cold. Room temperature raw fish is a serious health hazard and needs to be addressed. At the end of your stay they give you another receipt with a blank spot where you have already given a tip to get more money from you. The server did great but I will not tip twice. I'll start with the one positive: the service. Our waitress was amazing, sweet, attentive, always smiling, clearing our table regularly, refilling drinks, and checking on us throughout the meal. She was truly the highlight of an otherwise disappointing experience. The first red flag was having to pay before even seeing the buffet. For the price we paid, the food quality did not come close to meeting expectations. As we were led to our table, the floors were noticeably sticky everywhere. The decor was decent but felt deceptive, like the focus was more on appearances than on food or cleanliness. The bathroom was in poor condition: sticky floors, a terrible smell, dirty toilet paper on the ground, and an unclean toilet. To me, the state of the restroom is often a strong reflection of how the rest of a restaurant is maintained, this was my second red flag. Now the food itself, unfortunately, it was not good. The sushi had little variety and did not taste fresh. It seemed like it had been sitting out for hours, with an overwhelming amount of rice and soy sauce that was far too salty. I ended up using packet soy sauce instead, thankfully provided. Most of the food we tried was either bland, overly salty, greasy, or watery. On top of that, several plates we picked up were visibly dirty, even with a greenish tint around the edges. The dessert area was not appealing either, and it was also not clean. If I could rate this place 0 out of 10, I would. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend it to others. For the price they're charging, customers deserve far better quality, cleanliness, and care, and honestly, so does the staff who are working hard in that environment. From the outset the name and appearance is inviting and intriguing. "Crazy Buffet" I did little to no research because we are on a quest to find the best China Buffet in Orlando. The place does not live up to the name. First the price is $20 per person which is Crazy high compared to the competition. They raised expectations with the price alone and walking past the buffet server stations on the way to the seating area did not inspire confidence that the price was justified. The first thing you see is the serving line for the sushi and hibachi. They are crammed against the back wall and you have to fight your way to the back to get in line. The sushi was rolled twice as large as a human mouth can open so it is intimidating to even pick up the rolls as I was thinking "these things will just fall apart " Looking at the sashimi slices, it looks just as bad as the rolls. Take the meat cleaver away from who ever is hacking up these things and get them a proper sushi knife. The thickness was more inline with a stir fry or fish stew than a delicate plate of attractive sushi. The sashimi was not only too thick, it was not even trimmed properly. There was tons of fat and inedible muscle in the fish. The only redeeming quality of the sushi station was the fresh and tasty rice it was wrapped in. The rest of the food was below average but not inedible. The selection was good, but nothing popped as having any level of culinary experience. It was more likely compared to precooked food you might get in the grocery store that just needs heating up. The staff was mostly attentive and performed their jobs. What was surprising was the bill was prepaid when you get in the front door but they repeat the credit card receipt for signature with an emphasis on the tip. This is confusing because it showed the entire amount again so we did not sign it. Instead out of courtesy to the staff left cash as a tip. But that tip likely does not even go to the server in these family owned places and I'd be shocked it it did. The square footage of the establishment is improperly utilized. They need a professional design make over. The split two store upgrade they merged with makes the second dining room very isolated and cluttered. The decor is different between the two dining areas and makes you feel as if you entered one restaurant and were downgraded to 3rd class accommodations. At this point I would not recommend spending your money here unless they step up their game to justify the price. Oh and we almost didn't even find the place because it's in a shopping plaza that has businesses around the corner. I was thinking when I went to this new restaurant that I must be crazy to be going to a buffet while COVID is on the rise. I was their first customer on the day they opened. I got there about 5 minutes before they were scheduled to start serving and for a long time I was the only customer. So yes I was their first customer on day one. They have different prices for lunch and dinner but since this was Sunday, it was dinner all day, which includes a seafood buffet that has salt and pepper crab legs. They were really good. It also features a pho bar where you can pick ingredients they will grill and you spoon broth on top of your selection after the chef has cooked them. The broth had a spice that did not appeal to me. They advertise 350 items and have a lot of the items you would expect to find on an Asian buffet. During the pandemic they have foam plates and bowls and the utensils are sealed plastic ware similar to what is commonly provided with a to go meal. Pros - they are giving everyone gloves and have hand sanitizer - fresh and flavorful food although I was there early and my opinion is based on a single visit - good sushi including sashimi and rather than having a lot they have selected rolls of high quality - service was attentive and my server shared her favorite and suggested items - something for everyone. I also saw mac n cheese, pizza and baked sweet potatoes for kids Cons - they did not seem to be social distancing the tables. Even though the restaurant was nearly empty they sat a table right next to me. When I spoke to the manager and mentioned my concern, he did not seem to understand my request. I am not sure I will go back until the pandemic is over. I noticed some people were not wearing the gloves and masks at the food bars and the staff were asking them to comply. read more

Can't say I was super impressed with this place. Granted I did come in just a little before closing on a Sunday night. Once we arrived, we paid upfront and also tipped (which was kind of weird since we didn't even know what kind of service we'd be getting). After paying we were seated to our booth and started our buffet adventure. I understand with an hour or so before closing for some of the food to be low, however, most of the pans were near empty and had to ask for a fresh batch of lobster. At least bringing half filled trays for the last hour would have made the experience more enjoyable and fresh. Most of the food looked like it hadn't been mixed either which didn't give much of the food any appeal. What topped it off though was the staff who started polishing cutlery in the booth next to us while eating pieces of watermelon at around 9:30pm. As 9:50pm Rolled around, most of the staff were just waiting to get the green light to start taking out the trays to the back for the night and start mopping. Mind you their closing time was 10pm. We left walking on a wet floor and potential hazard and saw that by 10:05pm most of the staff were out the door to go home. In my many years of hospitality, you should not start any cleaning procedures until the last customer leaves the facility to avoid hazard and potential law suits lol. I recently visit the Orlando to take my kids to Disney World. Stop by this buffet on Thursday around 6pm, wasn't crowd at all. The food was taste super salty, i mean everything seem over seasoning, especially the fried crab and soup that they called " pho". My god, it just like water mix with salt. I was try at least one bite mostly everything that they had available, bad food with over seasoning. On top of the bad experience was service. The servers act like you're bother them, one of the waitress said one second when i want to ask her for the plastic fork , then she never came back.
