Went to Domu for lunch over the weekend, and it was SO good! We had the wings, which are always delicious, and I had the Tonkotsu Ramen with black garlic. The garlic flavor was just perfect--not too strong at all. And the temperature of the soup was absolutely stunning! Not so hot that you feel like you're going to burn your tongue, but definitely not too cool either. Just perfect! I enjoyed every single noodle and every bite of the pork chashu. And yes... I finished the entire bowl, including the soup! Of course the waitress was super cool and friend which is plus! When I finished, I honestly felt like I had just come home. So satisfying and comforting! Yummy!
I've wanted to try DOMU since we moved to Florida almost four years ago, but we've somehow never timed it right. Being a foodie at heart, I had built this place up quite a bit in my head before ever walking through the door. Usually that's a recipe for disappointment. DOMU somehow managed to exceed those expectations. We arrived about 10 minutes before opening on a Saturday and only had about a 15 minute wait. The first pleasant surprise was the bar and Happy Hour. They have $8 cocktails and $4 beers, and these are legitimate specialty craft cocktails. I had the Wasabi Ginger Margarita, which felt like the perfect introduction to what DOMU does so well. There was a slight spice from the wasabi balanced by the ginger, and the whole thing just worked. We started with the famous wings, cucumbers and Cheezus. DOMU calls their wings the best in Orlando, but I think they might be some of the best wings I've ever had anywhere. The kimchi butter sauce has this incredible savory, sweet and umami flavor that makes them completely addicting. My wife almost dropped one and immediately announced that she would have eaten it off the floor before allowing a DOMU wing to suffer that fate. They're THAT good. The cucumbers were another huge hit. I could honestly come back just for the wings, cucumbers and a couple of cocktails as an afternoon snack. The Cheezus was probably my least favorite of the three appetizers. It was certainly unique and still good, but I personally would have preferred a little more corn and a little less cheese. Then came the ramen, which was easily the star of the show. DOMU makes its noodles in house, and you can tell immediately. I asked our waiter for a recommendation on the spicier side and he suggested the Hot Curry. The broth was rich, buttery, spicy and absolutely incredible. Seriously, just give me a straw for the broth. It definitely has some heat, so be warned, but it was exactly what I wanted. I even enjoyed the leftovers for lunch the next day. My wife ordered the Tan Tan with the spice bomb on the side, which allowed her to control the heat. She loved it. The broth had tons of flavor and the wagyu had a fantastic seasoned crust. She had originally planned to order one of the noodle dishes instead of ramen, but by the end of dinner she was already talking about coming back specifically to order the Tan Tan again. From the friendly service to the cocktails, appetizers and incredible ramen, DOMU lived up to every bit of its reputation. After waiting almost four years to finally try it, I can confidently say it was worth the wait. This has easily earned a spot among our favorite places we've eaten in Orlando, and we're already looking forward to going back.
After my shoulder was feeling a lot better, I decided to drive to Domu since it is not too far. I was very fortunate to find a seat in the bar immediately. My bartender recognized me quickly, and welcomed me. After telling him about my injury, I decided to enjoy the smoked old fashioned. It was the perfect drink for me as it gave the right amount of buzz while having the smokey flavor. Plus, my bartender was so nice to give me an extra shot of what looked like to be burboun. It was so strong that I went to happyland afterwards. For my entree, I decided to try something new and went with the lobster roll. I was so happy that I did. Even though it was a small roll, it had ample amount of sweet and succulent lobster in a warm buttery bun. I savored every bite as it was as good as a high quality seafood restaurant. I was very surprised and impressed. For dessert, they had my favorite flavor of ice cream (ube), so I couldn't skip it. It had the right flavor and just perfect sweetness for me. It was the best meal at a restaurant that I had for a while. The service was amazing and the vibe was perfect. I sat at the bar with other great people. I am so sorry that I forgot my bartender's name, but he is so awesome. It's the gentleman with the earrings. Really, all of the bartenders are great, but he is always the one who makes my day very special! When it was time to pay, I was stunned that I was only charged for the lobster roll, and everything else was comped for me. Let's just say I gave a bit more extra for tip. I love Domu so much, and now I have another great entree to love. I wish they participated in magical dining, but still the prices are great for the quality you get. I plan on keeping on eating here when I need some great Japanese comfort food in the Dr Phillips area. Overall: A+
This is one of my favorite spots to visit whenever I'm in Orlando area. I had a work trip down that way so I decided to stop in. Per usual, they didn't disappoint! I wanted to get something different but it's hard to go wrong with the DOMU wings. They are exceptional every time! The ramen bowls are good as well but it's so difficult to say no to the wings. I had an old fashioned to go with my meal it was good as well.
The restaurant wasn't too crowded and the staff were great. I love how this location is decorated and its flow to the restaurant. I had the lychee boba-mosa and it was really good. The boba balls were a fun addition. To each I had the regular creamy miso which was delicious. It still was a little spicy to me but I didn't mind it. Id definitely come back and get both again.
Sick (means fantastic!) Ramen dishes and wings. Don't know their secret for the wings but I think they must be twice cooked. The Ramen was incredible and delicious. I was in Orlando last week and you can always tell by the wait time that a dining establishment must be good. We didn't mind as the bar was excellent and service over the top great! Was so happy to find out they have a location in NE Florida so I will definitely plan to go. Take my advice - this place is amazing with a superb ambiance!
I haven't had ramen in a long time and was really craving it! Well this place solved my problem!! FRESH noodles wow.It was AMAZING. I was alone I just sat at the bar but the full restaurant was beautiful, they even had an area to watch the chefs cook while dining. Service was friendly and fast! I got the chicken curry ramen- to die for. I added tofu and bok choy with a side of Szechuan cucumbers. Both were spicy but the curry you can modify. I am bringing my husband back next week
Everything was delicious. We got there at 5pm right when they opened up and sat at the bar. The bar is first come, open seat Ordered the Chicken wings, Richie rich, and Tonkotsu Happy hour drinks are available Warning, the size of the bowl is smaller than a normal ramen place or from what I am use too. Broth was very rich, noodles were delicious, and meat was tender.

I thought it was very expensive, but it turned out to not be very reasonable for the accolades awards in the amount of food that you get. Let me tell you what the broth is rich creamy decadent and delicious. The egg is cooked perfect with a soft yolk that permeates the flavors of the Ramen very hard to do and they do it extremely well. The pork is tender and flavorful. I normally don't get stumped on seasonings and spices, but I don't know what they do or use in this Ramen. The noodles are the right size. It's fun to play with to twirl them with a fork in the wooden spoon that they give you is genius and this dish is like a huge warm hug. Not a big wine list, but they happen to have a wine from Italy. That was very good and carried small bottles of sparkling wine. What restaurant does that excellent our server was happy engaging and knowledgeable. She was from the Philippines. I can't remember her name kudos to her.
This is probably the hardest review I've ever written because I've been a fan of DOMU since their original Winter Park location. I've followed Chef Sean "Sonny" Nguyen from the beginning, and I honestly believe they serve some of the best ramen in Florida. I've recommended DOMU to countless friends over the years. Unfortunately, this isn't a review about the food. It's about how customers are treated. This past Friday, my wife, my two daughters, and I drove almost an hour to Dr. Phillips. We arrived at exactly 9:32 PM, almost 90 minutes before the posted 11:00 PM closing time, only to be greeted with a sign saying they were no longer accepting tables due to an extended waitlist. This wasn't the first time. It wasn't even the second or third. This is now the 4th or 5th time we've driven all the way there only to be turned away. What makes it even more frustrating is that the restaurant didn't appear to be overflowing with people. There were multiple empty tables visible inside, yet we were told they couldn't seat anyone else. At some point, this stops being bad luck and becomes a management problem. If demand is consistently exceeding capacity, then implement a reservation system or another predictable process. Customers shouldn't have to gamble on driving an hour with their family only to be told they can't eat. To be honest, it almost feels like maintaining an artificially long waitlist has become part of the restaurant's image. Whether that's true or not, that's certainly how it comes across after experiencing this repeatedly. Michelin recognition and great food can only take a restaurant so far. Hospitality is equally important, and repeatedly turning away loyal customers well before closing time is simply not acceptable. I sincerely hope Chef Sonny Nguyen sees this because I've supported DOMU for years and genuinely want them to succeed. But after being turned away for the fourth or fifth time, I can no longer recommend making a long drive unless you're willing to risk leaving hungry. Great food deserves great customer service. Right now, the customer experience isn't living up to the quality of the kitchen.
This was my first time at the Dr. Phillips location. If you know DOMU, you know they don't take reservations. The other location is always swamped. I went on a Monday night, and got seated immediately, which was amazing. We started off with the original wings, which were just as good as the other location! If you've never had the wings here, you absolutely must get them. They are the best wings I have ever had. They are so crunchy and the sauce in the sweet, salty, umami sauce. These would be my last meal. For dinner, I got the dipping Ramen. This comes out with cold noodles that you dip into a warm thick broth. It was so flavorful and exactly what I needed for a chilly night. In terms of ambience, the decor is cute. It has a very different vibe from the other location, but I still love it. If you've never tried, Domu, you are seriously missing out. This is an Orlando staple.
We used to really love this place, but our visit this weekend was just ok. First, they still do not take reservations so we got there about 10 mins before opening and were the first in the door (a good line formed after us). Although we were first in and first sat, we were probably 5th to have a server come to us, which really made no sense at all. We ordered the Domu wings, which are always good, but they seem to no longer give the wet towels, which was missed. In the past I'm pretty sure I was able to get the vegan broth in the Tokyo ramen (I don't eat pork and just wanted something different) but was told they do no substitutions. To be honest, my ramen was just ok. It was saltier than I remembered and I just didn't love it like I used to. My partner did enjoy his curry ramen though, and the bottomless brunch mimosas. I also ordered a small Thai tea, which was tasty and the perfect size.
I came here for dinner a few weeks ago. It's the exact menu as the one in East End Market. The only difference is the atmosphere. This location is prettier! The wooden interior and seating gives a more upscale atmosphere, and it feels less cramped together. We came for appetizers. We got the shishito peppers, crabby patty and Cheezus. The shishito peppers are always a crowd pleaser! The crabby patty was nice! The toasted bun and fried soft shell crab went well together. The cheesus was the odd one out. It was tasty, but I wasn't expecting a pot of cheese with core. I thought it was more of an Elote style, still tasty. The server was nice, but man did he try to push the extra bread for the cheesus!

RAMEN LOVERS If you want some flavorful ramen, and a dope atmosphere look no further. Domu is the place to be. Things to call out: I don't believe they accept reservations so be prepared to wait because this place gets PACKED OUT. They do have outdoor seating as well as bar seating. I would say the longest I've probably waited was 45 minutes. The servers are great as well. The Domu wings were so flavorful! The ramen- oof 10/10. I love a good broth and the Tonkastu ramen had such a creamy, full and rich flavor My mouth is literally watering right now thinking about it lol. If you want something lighter but still have the flavor I would say go with the Miso ramen. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Meeting with some friends for dinner and she suggested this spot, I've never heard of Domu and I'm probably the only person in Orlando that hasn't... Cause this restaurant is booming and I see why, every table was full all night. We started off with cocktails, I had the bees knees very good The restaurant is small but nicely done with the interiors the light pink walls and the simple touches thoughtout. Ok sooo let's talk food.. The chicken wings were to die for! Now I see the hype.. The fingerling bravas!!! Fantastic, Shishito peppers perfectly crispy. Definitely check this spot out.. Started my birthday weekend out with dinner at Domu. Loved the seating & atmosphere - the lighting was perfect for a dinner date, although a bit loud. Having water on the tables is a nice touch and you never have a wait to refill. We got there at opening, so no wait. We were seated and brought glasses of water immediately. To view the menu we were asked to scan a QR code - I'm not a fan since I usually have issues connecting. I asked for and was brought a paper menu. Our server was great, very attentive and since it was our first time, she happily explained every question. She even offer my husband suggestions since he's not really into ramen. A few coworkers had already recommended the Domu wings, so I knew I had to try them. I absolutely love ramen and decided on the Ritchie Rich. My husband got the Crabby Patty with save on the side since he isn't a fan of overly spicy meals. The wings came out first and they were so good. Definitely get them! The ramen soup was fabulous! I highly recommend. My husband loved his fried crab and even admitted he would go back (that's a win). Very nice dinner. If you get the chance, don't pass on Domu!! read more

Came around 8:30 pm on a Sunday night and there were still 6 parties ahead of us. But we got seated at 9 pm so not that bad of a wait. Must get the wings. Soooo yummy. The noodles are also freshly made and the texture was good. Just not sure if the green curry tasted like green curry and the uni mazemen could use a little more cream and uni. read more
DOMU absolutely lives up to the hype best wings in Orlando and that is 10000% true. With indoor and outdoor seating! I can't believe this is my first time writing a review after coming here so many times Sometimes I literally come just for the wings and leave. The Wagyu Bolognese is TOP TIER. As a certified Wagyu girlie, I ordered it immediately and it did not disappoint. It has a little kick, but pro tip: take it home and eat it the next day the flavors are even better. My friend loved the Richie ramen, the kimchi was a bit on the spicy side, and the service is always quick. Everything here is just great read more

Holy forkin shitballs is this place the bees knees! My friends and neighbors took me here and I am so glad they did! They knew what to do - we were there (with about 20 other people) waiting for the doors to open as the restaurant fills almost immediately. The vibe in there is super cool. Love the modern pink decor and overall aesthetic of the place. The food...sheeeeeesh! The ramen and the wings are just to die for. I've never had such insane wings! Will absolutely go back. read more
Wow wow wow! 2026 is the year for good food. This place definitely lived up to the hype. We waited outside for about 20min to make sure we could get a seat. The restaurant doesn't accept reservations and fills up SO fast. I ordered the miso spicy with bok choy added in. This was the BEST bowl of ramen I have had in a LONG time. The noodles were cooked perfectly and every single add on in the bowl actually made sense and tasted well together. Our server was an angel she did such a good job in getting us everything quickly. Visited Domu in Dr. Phillips while in Orlando. Coming from the San Francisco Bay Area where ramen options are everywhere, I was honestly excited but also skeptical. It takes a lot to impress when you are used to West Coast ramen standards. The wait was around 30 to 45 minutes, which felt expected given how popular the place is. Service was a bit slow, but not horrible, and understandable considering the size and volume of the restaurant. Ambiance was warm and welcoming as well, as they had a bar upon walk-in to order drinks while waiting. That said, the food completely delivered. This is easily one of the top three ramen bowls I have had in my life. Richie Rich Deep, layered miso shoyu pork bone broth with rich umami throughout. The chashu was tender, the ajitama brulee added a subtle sweetness, and the black garlic oil brought everything together. Domu Wings Crispy, flavorful, and absolutely worthy of the hype. The kimchi butter sauce had the perfect balance of spice and richness. Cheezus Savory, indulgent, and surprisingly addictive. The roasted corn with kewpie mayo and melted mozzarella hit all the right notes. Overall, Domu exceeded expectations ! Even coming from a ramen heavy city like the Bay Area, this place stands out. I intentionally sought out the best ramen in Orlando, which led me to DOMU, the 2022-2025 recipient of the MICHELIN Guide Bib Gourmand Award, and a 2025 James Beard Award semifinalist. They were also showcased on Netflix's Somebody Feed Phil! DOMU makes their own noodles and uses the top 3% heritage breed Cheshire Pork for their chashu. They are also host to what some consider the best wings in Orlando. It's packed most of the time due to popularity, so be prepared to wait. We waited for 20 minutes midday on Sunday. The interior looks classy, and the vibe seems like gentrified American, but that doesn't stop the bowl of ramen from achieving greatness. You get dehydrated wet tissues at the beginning of your meal to clean your hands, which is pretty similar to an experience at very high end Japanese restaurants. We unfortunately did not have the stomach space to support trying two different ramens, so we just shared one. There are even options on the menu for people who don't want noodles, happy hour drink specials, seasonal cocktails, and a brunch menu. They just thought of everything, didn't they? - Domu Wings The kimchi butter sauce tastes very similar to something I'd consider to be a sweet sesame chicken sauce. However, you do taste some nutty burnt butter in the wings, which is the main intrigue. I thought the coating was a little too hard on the crunch, and I wish the wings were bigger and juicier. While the flavor was unique for Asian wings, I think I preferred Orlando's other well known Asian place's wings. - Cheezus Freshly roasted corn with a bunch of cheese and mayo. I love that you get a mini loaf of toasted baguette with this. It tastes more like Mexican street corn than the classic Korean rendition. - Richie Rich This is their standard and popular ramen flavor, which is an improved black garlic tonkotsu broth that uses a mixture of miso and shoyu, loaded with a bunch of cooked garlic. Every ingredient tasted well-handled - especially the jammy torched egg and tender chashu. The ramen noodles had a lovely firmness and chew. It was just a perfectly rich bowl of black garlic tonkotsu ramen, and I wanted another bowl when I finished. - Soft Serve Ice Cream You have a choice of their weekly rotating soft serve in a waffle cone or cup, which comes with its own associated toppings. We came by during horchata week, which tasted like a creamy bowl of cinnamon toast crunch cereal with the milk and cinnamon flavors all mixed together! We absolutely want to come back here next time we're in Orlando! DOMU has so many different ramen varieties to try, and they all sound and look delicious. Domu never misses! Saturday brunch was surprisingly calm compared to our usual Sunday visits, so it might just become our new ritual. I've had this place bookmarked for sooo long and finally had the chance to try it when I was in town again! I ordered the curry ramen with medium spice. I can handle spice pretty good so I recommend mild for those who just want a little spice. It was absolutely delish and the ramen had GREAT flavor. My mouth is salivating as I write this review. You're waiting no matter what. So grab a drink at the bar! Cocktails were on point. Both the Richie Rich and Curry Man were rich and done well. And be sure to get an order of the wings. Whichever ramen you get, I recommend adding more protein (and an egg if it doesn't already include one). The only off-putting thing I noticed was the server's fingers in the bowl. If you're coming from a place with tons of exceptional ramen shops, DOMU is still worth a stop. read more

Yes, the Michelin Guide is accurate! I personally love their food and my favorite is the chicken wings! Don't miss it when going here! The ramen is good too! The place is always busy so if you're not early, expect a waiting time and line outside! I had a rum and coke by the bar, looks like they doing double shot! I've only been to the Domu in Dr Phillips twice and both times I was seated at the "Chef's Table". Domu does not take reservations and both times we arrived, the inside seating was completely full but our group was small enough to be seated at the Chef's Table, which is 5 stools by the open kitchen. I actually liked sitting there as it was like dinner and a show and the chefs and expediter didn't mind answering questions (like, oooh, what is that?). It's actually a pretty large menu for a ramen place so after we washed our hands with the warm towels provided, I needed to ask the server for suggestions. She asked what I liked and didn't like and then suggested the Tokyo, which is a garlic based chicken ramen. My husband ordered the Domu Wings and the Baby Bok Choy. Our meals were delicious and our server mentioned that the ice cream flavor of the week was Cinnamon Toast Crunch - yum! I decided to save the rest of my ramen for later so I could get the ice cream. I really liked how the server packed up the noodles separately from the broth so it would be easier to heat up later. The ice cream was much larger than I expected and had a sweet cinnamony flavor. The second time we went, I ordered the Thai iced tea - large - that I hadn't seen the first time since it is listed with the Sweets and Desserts instead of with the drinks. It's served in acute Fox glass mug. This time I decided to try the Yuzu Shoyu Chicken ramen. It was a lot lighter in flavor than the Tokyo and had a lemony flavor versus the umami that the Tokyo had. I'd probably say I preferred the Tokyo. The ice cream flavor this time was matcha, which isn't a favorite of mine, so I didn't order dessert. The ramen was good, but nothing exceptional. They were out of chicken, so we substituted the "wagyu beef" for an extra $3 per bowl, which was basically just ground beef lol. BRING A JACKET!!! Then take it off once you start eating the delicious ramen. It's not possible to make a reservation so show up, cross your fingers and hope the wait isn't too long. I did appreciate that the waiting area offered lots of seating so you're not standing the entire time. There's also many shops in the area to explore. Once we got seated inside the chills were immediate. Thankfully we had a jacket but I swear I was still freezing. On to the food. The DOMU wings were crispy and salty. I had one and couldn't finish the rest but in the end I decided to combine the wing sauce with the CHEEZUS. That combination of the DOMU sauce and the CHEEZUS was chefs kiss. It balanced out perfectly because the CHEEZUS had no salt. Also, listen to the recommendation and get the extra bread. It's an up charge but you will need it. The stars of the show were the Richie Rich and the Tokyo Ramen. Hands down some of the best ramen I have had so far. The broth of the Richie Rich was definitely rich and delicious. The chicken in the Tokyo was so flavorful and tender. Overall, highly recommend this spot for some great ramen. read more

I was first in line when this location opened! That's how much I love Domu, and if you have never eaten get there soon! My go to is Richie Rich and the Domu Wings. I can't eat all of it, but they happily will pack it to take home! The ice cream is delicious and the flavors rotate. Right now it's Horchata! They offer samples so you can try it out before buying a whole dessert. You can follow them on Instagram and know what specials are happening, including fun events and special emphasis. During Valentine's they offered Lobster Ramen and it was every bit as delicious as you would imagine! The "Domu Dynasty" who is the brain child of Sonny Nguyen is a group of restaurants! He was featured on "Somebody Feed Phil" with Phil Rosenthal on Netflix. They have won Michelin Bib Gourmand's status for four years running! WOW what a treat. The creamy miso ramen was indeed very creamy. Noodles were perfectly al dente. We were seated quickly on the patio, since we arrived right after opening. I took my coworker here since she was visiting from out of town, and she was thoroughly impressed. We all had enough to take home after. My least favorite were the patio chairs and tables. For such excellent food, the tables were rickety and the chairs were uncomfortable. Maybe inside would be better for next time, because you bet I'm coming back for more read more
The Richie Rich Ramen without the fried garlic, with an extra egg and sweet corn, is my absolute favorite. It's super savory and rich, but not overwhelmingly so, which I really like. The ramen noodles are just perfect. Next time, I need to order extra. I sometimes lay in bed thinking about it. The only downside is I'm a bit far away in Tampa, so whenever I'm in Orlando, I make sure to stop by Domu. I also got the fried wings, a side of rice, and the cheesy corn. They were all good, but honestly, next time I'll skip those and go straight for the ramen. That's where the taste is at. There's outdoor seating, which feels great in the fall and winter. The staff is always really nice and attentive. I didn't need a single thing during my visit to Domu. read more

I loved my tuna don bowl and my boyfriend loved his ramen! my friend ordered the wings and said they were incredible. knocking off one star because the acoustics were quite loud and it was difficult to have a convo due to being unable to hear. 1st timer! They have a happy hour! I do wish some of the main cocktails were like money off so I could try those on happy hour but the happy hit was nice. No food on happy hour, just drinks FYI. The octopus TAKO was so unique! The octo was crunchy and sweet believe it or not! The Krabby was ok. Reminds me of a little po boy. It was cooked perfectly I just feel like I needed maybe some crab spread or something more crabby on it as once it's fried it was mostly airy. The house sake was actually really good and potato side as well. The wings looked amazing. I'll be coming back for ramen! I sat at the bar so, maybe next time I'll get a seat. Do they have outside seating?
Some! It is limited tho, so if it's needed I would get there before prime times. They don't take reservations or call ins either so it's all just to if they're busy or not!

No they do not take reservations, it's first come first serve. But trust me, it's worth it. Wait by the bar and grab a cocktail during happy hour. The old fashioned is my favorite. ENJOY!!
Do they have a childrens menu?
Hi Monica, we do not have a children's menu but can make a small side side of our Tokyo broth and noodles, or buttered noodles for the little ones! Hope this helps.
