They were crispy, sticky, and perfectly sauced without losing their crunch. Definitely something I'd order again. The cucumber dish was fresh with a nice kick and plenty of texture, while the shishito peppers were beautifully blistered and seasoned. We also tried the cheezus, which was easily another favorite -- warm, creamy, and perfect for sharing. The dish topped with greens, lemon, and a creamy element was also a nice addition to the table. And the service was fast! Every table was full but we did not wait at all and felt very taken c Overall, DOMU does shareable plates really well. Everything we tried felt thoughtfully prepared, portions were great for sampling several dishes, and there wasn't a bad plate on the table.

It can get very busy, but if you're looking for wings or small plates, they have bar seating that is super convenient. Be back soon! East End Market as a whole is a vibe. So much to look at & if you're up for a little walk, there are a bunch of vintage stores, cafes, and a record store down the road.

The restaurant is on the smaller side but they have it organized to fit quite a few people. The area is clean as well. The soup was so beautiful I almost didn't want to eat it! I've never had cold soup before but I definitely will be trying the other options throughout the summer. It was so refreshing!

We got their mocktail of the day, Nikutama Udon, and Spicy Miso Tantan Udon. The Nikutama broth was rather bland and the sliced beef was too chewy for my liking. I added the toppings on the side but still found it underwhelming overall. The Spicy Miso had much better flavor. They best thing was their mocktail, it was refreshing for a hot day! Service was mediocre, it was Saturday lunchtime so it took a little to get acknowledged/order and there was some waiting for the boxes/check too. Ambiance is superb/clean and the decor is modern. it's not the biggest restaurant but utilized the space with bench seating against the wall. I feel there are better options in the Mills50 area, but it's worth trying if you haven't since its a Michelin bib restaurant.

Made a reservation for Valentines Day. From the moment we walked in, we knew it would be chaotic…read more The restaurant was not even half full. The hostess was also a server who never had anything to write on and had to constantly come back to us to order food and drink. I think it was an understaffed situation and not the two servers fault necessarily. Food came before cocktails, no silverware when food was delivered and then once silverware arrived, no napkins? We were in a cozy little booth which was nice for Valentine's Day. The restaurant was clean however they had the front door propped open and letting the cool air in (which was nice) but also the bugs (not so great). Now onto the good part. The food was amazing. From the curry mussels to the goat cheese and beet salad and the ramen. The ramen is so so good. We weren't in a rush for dinner but we also were not expecting it to take as long as it did or have the low level of service. Might give it another try since the food was so good but hope that they can get staffing figured out.

Then came in to enjoy a hot bowl of freshly prepared ramen. I got the Florida and my son got the chicken. You can customize the toppings which is so ideal and they have so many. Ugh my fav topping by far was the mushrooms in the chicken ramen, flavorlicious and the chicken kaarage on point! It was my sons but I was all over his. The Fl to me was still good but more for seafood lovers. Service was so sweet and graceful. Ambiance, lighting, and curtain booths feel intimate and inviting. I enjoyed thanks!

My first time here was actually right after visiting Volcano Bay, and I had absolutely no idea this…read morewas a Michelin-recognized spot! I just happened to stop in, and after coming back again much later, I'm happy to say the food and service are still just as impressive as I remembered. The whole ordering system is really efficient. You can order directly through the bartender or server, and they'll give you a table number afterward. Finding a table can be a little tricky when it's busy, but don't be shy about asking if you notice someone getting ready to leave. The space is dimly lit, relaxing, and has plenty of seating, so it's a great place to hang out and enjoy a few drinks. The drinks are definitely a highlight for me. I always tell the bartenders what kind of flavor profile I'm in the mood for and let them recommend something, and they've hit the mark every single time. They're great at understanding what you're looking for, even when you don't know exactly what you want. Food-wise, the skewers are a must. They have a really nice char on the outside, and the dipping sauce adds even more flavor. The crab fried rice is another favorite--the portion is generous for the price, and it's flavorful enough to stand on its own or share with the table. What I really appreciate is that the quality has stayed consistent between visits. Great food, creative drinks, efficient service, and a relaxed atmosphere make this a place I'll definitely continue coming back to.

We finally got to go here after a friend suggested it. I had Tori Tori on my to go list for a while…read morebut I am always wary about spots on Mills because they can be crazy busy. I arrived around 430 and waited till they opened at 5. There were several others as well, waiting for the doors to open. Our party of five found one of this tables at the end which is shaped like a large D letter, weird sitting but the only other better seats were outside and I am not breathing in exhaust fumes of Mills as we eat. There is a small sheet of paper with the food items, no prices listed and you need to open a tab at the bar to place your orders. You also need to get your drinks from the bar but they do serve you the tapas style food. It's all small items, three or four smallish items per plate and in varying prices, not listed anywhere but online on their site. I ordered the crab and corn croquetas ($9.5), crab rice ($11), mushrooms in soy sauce ($7), beef with chimichurri ($7.5) and a soda ($3.5). The crab and corn croquetas are a good sized portion, coming in three balls with a tender inside full of tasty corn pieces and crab. The sauce they come with also delivers on making them stand out. The crab rice was a good sized scoop and you could taste the freshness of it all, use the small slice of lemon to give it a tiny extra kick. The mushrooms in soy sauce were absolutely rocking on the taste buds with the umami really strong but so tasty. I ate half of the plate and brought the rest for snacking on tomorrow. Yay The beef with chimichurri was about 3 ounces worth of beef and sliced into four really small bites. A bit pricey for what you're given. My friend ordered the pork belly which was the same size and had a lovely taste to it. She also ordered the gyoza which came with five small pieces and those were tasty. The servers were super quick in bringing out the plates and due to the smallish sized table, it got overwhelming a bit quickly and we had to shuffle stuff around but since the meals are smallish, you do eat pretty quickly too. You have to be there early or else the seating is a roll of the dice, as soon as we began to leave, someone scooped in to grab the table. One poor guy was with his lady at the bar, she was seated but he didn't have one for him so he was standing beside her. The parking is shared with the other restaurant beside it and there are signs about paying parking... but I think that's only for certain hours?
