To start, they have a great Happy Hour 3-6 pm with a limited menu, but Sapporo drafts and local brews are under $5 each. That is a win right there. They also have beer and Sake flights. My Go to here is the Tonkotsu Black Ramen, but I have had the others and never a bad experience. There is something really welcoming about Jinya. I suspect they treat there staff well and hire the right people. Everytime I am here I feel like they are over staffed, but there are plenty of tables inside and out in this intimate venue. My two favorite happy hour dishes are the Salmon Pke Tacos and the Crispy Chicken. I used to live on Lake Eola Park and I so miss coming here. Glad I stumbled in here today.

The tofu was very soft and not my favorite in terms of flavor, but everything else in the Spicy Creamy V Ramen was delicious. I also tried the Impossible meat bao, but the texture of the meat was a bit too firm or overcooked for my liking, especially paired with the soft bao bun. That said, I would definitely come back to try other items on the menu, as there are so many options to choose from. Our server, Carl, was very friendly and attentive. I visited on a Friday evening, and the ambiance was relaxed yet lively, with plenty of groups enjoying dinner or drinks at the bar.

Their wings are so crispy, I think they're some of the best wings I've had. I also highly recommend their Tokyo Ramen. The chicken thighs in the ramen are crispy and have great flavor. I only wish there was more broth because it was so yummy. Food came out fast and service was great.

Amazing Japanese spot!!…read more Once you enter, you are met with a huge seating area including a bar where you can only get drinks. Most people in there are waiting for a table inside the main restaurant. Once we got called back, we sat at another bar area where you can see the kitchen. Very interesting layout. We started with the famous domu wings and I seriously will be thinking about the wings until I go back. So much flavor in those things. I love that the noodles are made in house so I wanted to try the ramen of course. I got the Richie Rich ramen which was tasteful but I wish you could choose to add some spice in it. Still great though. My sister got the tonkotsu with black garlic and she almost ate the entire thing. Also got some shishito peppers and that was also just as good as everything else. I kept seeing the lychee martini being ordered to I got that and it was as good as everyone mentioned. It does have popping boba at the bottom which I loved but I know not everyone likes it so just an fyi. My sister got the Roddy pom. The place is pretty small and they don't take reservations so be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes. We got there 25 minutes after opening and waited 40 minutes. The parking gets filled fast along with overflow parking being full so be prepared to find a spot.

Of the zensai (appetizers), I've tried the Tatsuta-Age, which was pretty tasty. Hot and crispy with good flavor. The udon is also top notch. They make it in house. Perfect chewy texture, what Taiwanese would call "QQ" I realized after my second visit that I still have not tried an udon with hot broth. I've tried the Spicy Miso Tan-Tan Udon, which was quite tasty, although a little on the richer/heavier side. I have also tried the Mentaiko Tsukimi Udon which was refreshing in the cold broth. I paired it with an add-on of sliced beef, which was delicious, they serve it on the side so you can add to whatever dish on your own. What I wouldn't recommend... The Viet Coffee with sesame foam and crushed sesame seeds was hard to drink. I loved the initial flavors but the foam got a little greasy and clumpy when mixed with the crushed sesame seeds, particularly toward the second half of the coffee. I wouldn't order it again. I would be interested to see any updates they've made recently but with so many new restaurants on Mills, I may choose those first.

It's a small lot and you do have to pay to park however, Tori Tori will validate parking for a few hours, which is nice. Because it was a Wednesday we were lucky enough to find a booth with a large table. Tori Tori is an interesting concept because you seat yourself, you order yourself and you get drinks yourself. They do have a wait staff that brings food to your table, but everything is self serve. You have to go up to the bar to order anything you want and get the check. All of the food is tapas style. We ordered quite a bit, including chicken meatballs, garlic fried rice, avocado, brussels sprouts, mushrooms, Korean fried chicken and the Wagyu dumplings. The standouts were the mushrooms and the brussel sprouts both of which were very savory and the brussel sprouts also had a little bit of sweetness. Overall, the food is good, but for a Michelin restaurant, I was pretty disappointed. I don't think it lives up to the hype. The food is just okay and personally, I think there's better tapas in Orlando, such as Bulla.

I tried the roti, the twice fried Korean wings, the coconut shrimp, the Seoul hot chicken bao bun, the pad thai, and the chow faan. The standouts were the Seoul hot chicken Bao buns and the Chow faan. I've gone several times and I would definitely recommend this franchise. Service- 5/5 the service is great. it was fast, courteous, and fun!. The servers always have a positive and energizing attitude. Note: this restaurant serves Tapas style so dishes will come out as they are prepared in the kitchen. While I don't like to share lol, the dishes are meant to be shared. Atmosphere- 5/5 I love the vibe of this place. The restaurant is decorated with many pan-asian cultural elements. In some locations, you can hear the kitchen staff communicating with each other which gives a lot of energy to the restaurant as well. The music is often R&B and/or pop which also adds to the energy of the restaurant. This place is versatile. It can be a nice date night, a family night, or even a solo dinner at the bar. Value- 4/5 Hawkers has a great value. The dishes are generally cheap, or affordable. There are a few pricey options but you can definitely have a nice, affordable dinner with many of the options on the menu. combined with the fast and quick service it's definitely a strong option. Opportunities for Learning- 4/5 There are many opportunities for learning! The menu has a variety of pan-Asian options typically articulated in the original culture. So sometimes the menu will have you googling. Many of the ingredients on the dishes are also culturally specific which provides a really authentic vibe. They often change their menu so often when I visit I leave having learned something different than I knew before I walked in!

Small restaurant, limited seating - maybe 50? I overheard someone coming into Bin Bong Cafe and ask where the "Lao" restaurant was. I was thinking "a Lao restaurant, am I hearing correctly?" They have Singha beer, japanese sake, and more. Water dispenser for water in the left corner by the counter. Just walk up to refill your cup. Hot or cold. I ordered Wings ($14, does not come with sticky rice), and Sticky Rice ($4). I like how they're playing J-pop at a Lao restaurant. Just makes me giggle a little. They have shrimp chips for sale (looks homemade) 4 people after who ordered for me got their food first. I feel like my order was just sitting for a while when I only got pre-bagged sticky rice and wings. They are indeed sticky wings. Lemongrass and bbq flavor?
