Sea bass (this was the BEST!)
    Danielle M.

Amazing food. Everything was on point. But the best was the Ahi tuna appetizer, the Chilean sea bass entree, and the bananas foster dessert. But even more amazing service (our server Nickolas was the absolute best and we had a party of seven). Because we had a large party we had a separate private room and it was beautiful. The chef, Grace, even came to meet us at the end of our dinner- she was lovely. Will be returning !!

This is a local to us and we decided to try it as we ran past it in the morning. Saw the good reviews online therefore booked a reservation. Food was amazing from start to finish. Starters we had the short rib and pineapple, Brussels spouts, pork belly. - all were amazing. Dinner we had the Australian strip and tomahawk pork chops. - divine. We are so happy about this place because we will be making this our repeat. Everyone also walking out thanked the owners/chefs because the food was amazing. Our server, Nick, was also great and was very knowledgeable about everything. Also small and cozy and intimate. Would recommend!

My wife and I have visited this place several times now. I cannot recommend it enough. The food is a delight to your taste buds. Everything is delicious. The chef has a gift for fusing interesting flavors into the Asian cuisine. We tried the watermelon salad, the NY strip (melts in your mouth) and the pork chops. The yuzu cheesecake is a surprising alternative to our well-known key lime cheesecake. Service is great as well. We plan to visit soon to check out the fall menu.

    The Duck

Words cannot describe how amazing this place is. The food was delicious. The team, Nick especially, gracious and knowledgeable on all fronts with the menu, wine pairing, everything. A must.

    Sea Bass

Found this place by accident and are so glad that we did. Excellent service, and excellent food from their scratch kitchen. Not your typical Asian fair and well worth trying. YanZi will definitely go into our regular rotation.

Their rice is like creamy happiness and makes the sushi so much better. Their fish is fresh every time. We have tried almost every roll and have never been disappointed. They have other dishes as well. Whether it is Ramen or Katsu, you will love it. If you like spicy, try their Spicy beef ramen or the spicy kani salad. So good and if you're ailing, the ramen soup will nurse you back to health. The service is excellent. Everyone works hard as you will see them scurrying around to ensure everyone is served. The best part is the floor manager. Her name is Mama. She watches over the customers and staff with a watchful eye. She is so awesome. Older woman with the spunk of a teenager. The owner and family always have a smile for all customers too. Good people. MAKE RESERVATIONS!!! Do not just show up or you will likely have to wait. This is most nights, but especially in the weekends. And the food to value is excellent. No matter what form your sushi takes here, the quality is excellent and prices are good as well. Oh and for fun, they have sumo wrestling on the TV. Our favorite. We have no idea what's going on, but fun to watch while we eat.

Let me start by saying this: I don't give 5-star ratings easily, but Naoki deserves it without…read morequestion. The food is consistently just as amazing every single visit. You know that letdown when you return to a place you loved and it's not the same? That's never happened to me at Naoki. Naoki is an absolute gem in Brevard County. I've been coming here with my fiancée, family, and friends for YEARS, and I honestly can't believe I haven't written a review until now. When you step into Naoki, it feels like walking into a cozy, tucked-away restaurant in Japan. The space is filled with personality--surf photography, muscle cars, Japanese comic books, spirits, and even photos of the streets Naoki grew up on. It's charming, nostalgic, and unlike anything else around. Nine times out of ten, you'll find Naoki right behind the sushi bar with the rest of the team, crafting delicious roll after roll. Now for the important part--the food. It's incredible. Their menu has everything from ramen to curry to takoyaki, but my ultimate weakness here is the sushi. One roll I always recommend is the Yokosuka with shrimp--perfect if you're into American-style rolls. It's massive, loaded with shrimp tempura, and topped with seasoned minced tuna that's unbelievably soft and flavorful. The combination of melt-in-your-mouth tuna with the crunch of the tempura is chef's kiss. But the real star for me is their Nigiri. I recently visited Japan, and I can confidently say Naoki's Nigiri tastes just like some of the sushi I had over there. Nigiri is simple--just fish and rice--which means the quality has to shine... and here, it absolutely does. The fish is always clean, fresh, and beautifully prepared. My go-to Nigiri lineup (in order): Aburi Salmon, Raw Salmon, Hamachi, Tuna, and Eel. I could eat Nigiri from Naoki all day long. Their fried gyoza is also fantastic--we almost always get an order for the table. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and juicy on the inside, and served with a bit of cabbage, which I love. And of course, don't forget to grab a cold Sapporo--one of my favorite Japanese beers and a perfect match for everything. The staff here is wonderful. They always make you feel welcomed and at home. A few weeks ago, I actually brought my camera to capture photos of the food and the ambiance for this review, but life got busy and I didn't get around to editing them until now. I've visited multiple times since taking those photos, which just shows how much I genuinely love this place. This review isn't sponsored--I just appreciate Naoki that much. Thank you, Naoki and staff, for feeding me and my loved ones for so many years. You all are amazing. I've included photos of some of my favorites. So I was disappointed when I saw this. This is not what I expected and the woman said they were fried but not what I meant by fried ribs... The ribs aren't bad and the shrimp fried rice is plain. So unfortunately I won't be back and wouldn't recommend.

Ergo, being such, for them, has become the "new average." As for Ruby Asian Taste, I have never eaten here before and was suggested to this restaurant from the ladies I spend lunchtime with after church on Sundays. So, was it good? Well... it was passably good, but a las, it generally fits the "dime a dozen" category of Asian restaurants, even though it tries to be everything, too. Located in the Publix Plaxa just south of Melbourne High School, Ruby Asian Taste (which I will shorthand to Ruby's for the remainder of this review) is marketed as having every Asian food available. What that means is they have more than one Asian cuisine, including Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and Korean. As a matter of fact, they had three different menus, loaded with options. Upon entering the restaurant, it looked like your typical walk-in New York Style Chinese food restaurant is often seen next to a Publix here in Florida. Simple tables, simple chairs, no fancy wait service, etc. At least everything was clean. I ordered three different food options, primarily Japanese. I got the takoyaki and kaaragi. The former, being fried dough balls with a piece of octopus inside, and the latter, being Japanese-style fried chicken, were both good, but they were nothing extraordinary. My church lady friends ordered chicken and mixed veggies with white rice and crab rangoon. They were good, but nothing extraordinary either. On a sidenote: the men's restroom was decent. It is clean and simple but needs an upgrade. You can do your business without having to be disgusted. Ultimately, Ruby's is okay. It was not my first choice, but a choice that I would consider if need be. My suggestion is Ruby's simplify their menu. I think having so many options stretches them thin a bit and thus their food would be average. Ruby's can still be an everything Asian restaurant, but maybe limit some of the options.
