This restaurant is such a cute concept! Definitely 5 stars for service and making guests feel welcome. I think with central Florida comes some of the BEST hospitality in the country... truly. My favorite aesthetic was the portapotty that led to the bathrooms. Overall, the food was not like wow, but decent and the prices were also on par with quality. I actually appreciated the prices. I had the Carb-less burger. Meat tasted of quality, thought the condiments should probably go on top but were placed at the bottom near the plate. Also, they have cool concepts and decor, but I think to designate an actual hands on area would be well worth the space of two tables, like foam building blocks. Realistically, only two tables were the "cool tables" as in the bucket of the excavator and another more themed table. Solid experience but could be so much better.

Super fun spot!! We absolutely loved it! I got a steak and it was DELICIOUS!! Highly recommend that and to try their ranch!! The sauces are all made in house and the ranch was SO good! Our kids had fun dressing up and walking around the "site." We would definitely come back next time we are on vacation in the area.

The Construction Zone needs some work, but they make an excellent Double cheeseburger & hand cut fries. We had a absolutely freaky fun time at the Construction Zone. Our waitress was British & so much fun! She was a hoot. We named her "Princess Pumpkin Spice" we just shortened it to "Princess" she loved it. We had so much fun with the British Princess at the Construction Zone. We would go back just to see her OuiOui. We ordered the Double cheeseburger & fries & I ordered the salmon burger & fries. She told me NOT to do it but I did it anyway bc i'm a rebel like that hahaha. And just as she said, the salmon burger sucked. It was so bad it was even burnt on one side LOL The Princess quickly took it back & got me a double cheeseburger with fries like Sir Hubbers got. It was also Excellent. So, listen to the fun British lady. She is a Princess & knows the royal way. She knows what the disaster is in the "Construction Zone" & it's the SALMON BURGER! LOL STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THE SALMON BURGER! BE SAFE! ORDER THE CHEESEBURGERS & HAND CUT FRIES ONLY. And make sure you ask for the Garlic Aioli on the side for the royal flavor Zone. Added to moi list of "prowling for patties" moi fave burger places & fave "happy hour" lists. Will Return.

Food was great, loved the availability of vegetarian options. The whole restaurant is construction themed - they even give faux hard data to kids. The service was pretty slow though and we eventually had to go find someone to ask for the check and to go boxes, which was surprising for a Wednesday night.

I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. On the one hand, it's a brilliant concept and it has been very professionally done. On the other hand, about half of the food was not very good. The themed interior decor is fantastic and will delight families, especially with kids who are fascinated by construction projects or equipment. The menu is one of the best conceived I've seen. It's themed, attractive, and offers pretty much any kind of dish family or sports bar enthusiast could be looking for. We started with the baked potato skins. The problem here is that they aren't really baked potato skins. They're essentially half potatoes with some sort of a cream cheese filling underneath the top more conventional presumably cheddar cheese and I guess bacon bits in there somewhere. They just weren't potato skins. For my main course, I had the very reasonably priced classic Cobb salad. It had all the correct ingredients for a Cobb salad, but there was nothing classic about it. As it was just a pile of lettuce with stuff on it. A classic Cobb salad would be served in the traditional rows of ingredients where you can dip and choose amongst them as you wish. But it was fine. My wife had the chicken tenders, which were served with fries. The tenders were quite good, actually the best thing that we had. They had a delicate and very crisp fine-grained breading on the outside. The fries on the other hand were some of the worst fries I've ever been served. They were a huge mound served underneath the chicken. They were only about half cooked and it didn't seem like the oil had been hot enough. They were heavy, limp, and large, although voluminous. I don't want to discourage you from trying this restaurant because I think they've put a lot into it, and it has true potential. If the food lives up to the descriptions on the menu and the pictures on the menu, it could be really good. Perhaps we went when the second-string team was on at lunchtime, and we should try it again in the evening. Great concept though.

Such a fun family dinner night was had at this restaurant! This restaurant is super cute and creatively decorated. From the waiting area to our table, it was such a fun experience. Service was great! Both our host and waitress were wonderful and super accommodating. My boys, including my husband, had the best time constructing their burgers. Everything tasted great. We truly enjoyed the restaurant and food tonight. Totally recommend this place, even if you do not have young kids.

I loved this place. The kids like so much, at the entrance they got an worker hat and an paper to do the clock in. The Ambience it's really nice, all themed construction, even the bathroom. They do have tap beer, the service was good. They had vest for the kids to play and they could keep the hat when we left. We just got burguers, was good by the way. The kids menu was something like 10 bucks, she got sliders, side, beverage and scoop of ice cream. Fun place!

FAMILY ROAD WORK FOOD ADVENTURE!!! This place was so fun and the food was close to amazing!!! Found this place, Where you ask? Where else on YELP!!! My wife use to have a job in the road work/construction industry, so I thought this would be fun for her and the kids!!! Let's face it, to be honest. This place is fun for any age if you like construction/road work type things. When you walk in you're greeted with a box opened on 2 sides. What you might not notice when you walk in is that you are in an elevator on a skyscraper. So cool!!! We didn't really notice until we were leaving, but whether at the start or end of your Journey . Take my word for it stand there and watch the video screen it is worth it to check it out. After you get past the elevator your at the hostess desk where they have construction hats, but they are only for 10 and under. What a waste. If I was them I would have a sign that's says: 10 & under/65 & over free!!! Everyone in between 1$. Child size only available. This would be a great up charge option and I know my whole family would have gotten one. Just to feel more inclusive to the environment. They are a kids size so that might be a bit of a challenge for some Adults, but hey if they are willing to pay the $, it's all good!!! All they have to do is add it to the bill!!! What a loss of revenue. I hope they see this and try the idea out!!! I was in the industry for 15 years so I do have some knowledge on how to be profitable and increase revenue. You are then given your punch card for clocking in for your shift!!! Our kids were so confused, but what fun for us Adults, LOL!!! Now to more Ambience: The place has a very minionesque coloration and it is super eye candy with all the props and murals with the painted building walls. Very, very fun to us!!! The food: The value to food ratio on this one is good to great!!! The Construction Zone has many entrees at a good to great value in comparison to similar food establishments. They have different cut options for almost every meat they offer. We got so much food and none of it was bad!!! The only negative is some of the batter on our onion ring tower was falling off. The batter was cooked it just wasn't fully applied before being fried is all. The burgers and steak were cooked to perfection!!! The chicken was juicy and flavorful!!! The quesadillas was the best value and was honestly a very tasty meal with a side. Loaded potato was what my son chose for a 2$ up charge. The potato was good, but the loaded part was lacking and didn't add much my son stated. The service was great and they all wear hi vis vests to add to the aesthetics. Our server was spot on the entire time and had a wonderful attitude!!! We had such a great time here. We will definitely be going back soon!!! AS ALWAYS TRY IT FOR YOURSELF!!!

This was the burger I ended up ordering that was extremely salty.

Had a horrible time July 11-2026. Was out with family for nephew 2 birthday. The waiter was extremely rude, didn't bring any type of waters for the tables, sarcastic attitude/ tone with us, no napkins, or any type of courtesy for the tables. When we got our margaritas they were extremely bitter and salty. Like the bartender just poured salt into the drinks on purpose. Then the food came out late and ended up having hair in two of the meals. When we brought it up to the waiter she basically accused us for the hairs even though the hair type didn't match our hair styles. Also she never gave us her name until it was time for the check. So it was a horrible time and still try to make us pay for the hair in the food plates. The management was terrible and customer service was bottom tier. Just like most construction zone delayed and frustrating.

I'm going to be very real with this review. This restaurant is a great concept - especially for families. When we arrived on a Saturday afternoon it was after lunch and the restaurant wasn't busy. No one was working at the bar but you could still order drinks from your server. All of the "themed tables" were taken so we were just sat at a regular table. Yes my toddler boy was fascinated by the excavator facade in the restaurant and he got a construction hat (to keep) and vest to wear but the restaurant is missing a HUGE opportunity with not having a separate play area for kids with toy construction vehicles or mini vehicles to ride around on. The restaurants theme doesn't go past the inside design of the layout and the port a potty door that leads to the bathrooms. Food was better than expected. Menu is huge! And they can definitely play with the presentation of food. The wings came out on a shovel but that was about it. The kids meal should've come out in a dump truck or something! Would we go back? Probably not but it was definitely a unique experience for our toddler. Go check them out for a unique experience for your kids and to enjoy a beverage and some decent bar food.

Great theme and decorations. There's a lot of ideas going on here, but some just don't work on a construction site together! How cute is the soups served in a thermos? Just not sure the construction crew would be eating French Onion Soup! And even though the onion soup had a nice flavor, it could have been hotter and the cheese melted, however, because they are in a thermos and can't go in an oven! The biggest problem through would have to fall to service. Everyone was very nice and attentive, but they don't seem to be bringing in big crowds yet...so they cut the staff! One waiter, one cook in the kitchen, and a hostess/bartender was not enough for the five tables waiting for their lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Here's hoping they can work out their kinks!

A cool family dining experience with a construction theme. The decor inside is very detailed and gives off the construction zone vibes. Kids get hardhats and vests. Adult size vests available. Many options to choose from on the menu. Tried the burger which was really good and stacked. The fish and chips also good. The mac and cheese also tastey.

3-Star Review - The Construction Zone Restaurant The Construction Zone Restaurant was an interesting experience, but overall just average. The interior is definitely themed to match a construction site, but it felt more gimmicky than tasteful. It didn't create a very comfortable or inviting atmosphere. I ordered a regular cheeseburger with fries, and the food was just okay--nothing special but edible. It tasted like standard bar fare without anything memorable to set it apart. Overall, it's an alright place if you're hungry and nearby, but not somewhere I'd go out of my way to visit.

This bar has different options including specialty beer, wine and a basic stocked bar with some cocktails. There is usually a specialty cocktail of the month or quarter or event happening as well. I usually pick either a specialty beer or make a cocktail with the liquors they have. My wife usually chooses the specialty drinks. We have always enjoyed the drinks at this bar. Some of their drinks are pre batch made but for batch-made drinks, they are not terrible and still pack a nice little punch. Recently we ordered the Prickly Pear Margarita, which was originally designed to celebrate Hispanic and Latin American cultures. This was meant to be a limited time drink and it is still available, but I have no idea for how long. It is really good, one of the better drinks we have had. Hopefully it is popular so it will stay on the menu permanently. Another popular drink is the Ngumu Jungle Juice. This one is also very refreshing and a good one to order if you are unsure. I would definitely recommend this bar. They have great drinks, really friendly bartenders, lots of seating at the bar and also around it. It is perfect to grab before waiting in line for the safari or Lion King show. You cannot bring drinks into the Lion King Show but if there is a line, this is the perfect stop while you wait. We frequently come to Animal Kingdom Lodge for breakfast and they are not open yet, so we have not gotten the chance. We finally did! To get here you will need to head to Animal Kingdom resort, which Disney does not allow you to park at without a dining reservation. It can be tricky to get here, but I would recommend coming from a theme park or Disney Springs. The lounge is open from 4:0pm to 11:00pm and food service starts at 5:00pm. My wife and I had dinner at one of their restaurants so we went here first, they do allow you to come park up to two hours before your reservation so it worked perfectly. We enjoyed it so much, we also came back to the lounge after our dinner for another drink. The resort itself is all African, theming, decor, even some cast members. I love this resort for the feel especially since both my parents are from Africa. It is always enjoyable to run into a cast member from where my parents are from and get to talk to them. The lounge is almost in between two floors. You can get to off the lobby and it's a half level down. They sandwiched a lounge on the level and it is the only thing on that "level". You cannot get to it from an elevator, you need to go down the stairs. Im sure there is a ramp for strollers and wheelchairs but I did not locate it. It also over looks Boma, the buffet style restaurant. There are seats at the bar and then a few tables and couches around, but it is not overly large. We did notice most people stopped by for a drink and took it to go although there were a few people sitting. There were more sitting after our dinner. Their menu is slightly limited, especially with the wines, but they do have a full bar and then food as well. We decided to only get one food item as we were going to dinner. We ordered the Spiced Goat Cheese Dip which was served with Assorted Breads, like pita and pepadew chips. Fantastic! It was absolutely delicious and something I would order over and over. This dip was not overly spicy, but had a little hint, it was very cheesy and creamy and then toasted on the top so you got a little crunch. It was also topped with a couple of peppers, where I think most of the "spice" came from. We were also wanting to get the burger, which we heard was delicious but we will get it next time. We both ordered a couple of different cocktails. I ordered 2 different types of Old Fashioned. The first one had bourbon and the second one had tequila. Both of these were fantastic but I am preferring tequila old fashioned' s lately. I also order a classic Manhattan, which is another favorite and this one was delicious. I usually do not go for the specialty cocktails, since they are usually too sweet for me. All three of my drinks were very strong and I definitely recommend them! My wife tried a couple of the specialty drinks and then an African wine. She first ordered the Cold Brew Martini which had Amarula Cream Liqueur, Kahlúa Liqueur, Crème de Cacao Dark Liqueur, Stoli Vanilla Vodka, and Joffrey' Cold Brew Coffee. It was a good creamy cold brew martini, not quite an espresso martini but still good and she mentioned she would get it again. She also tried the Prickly Pear Mule which had VUSA African Vodka, Belle de Brillet Pear Liqueur, Prickly Pear, and Lime topped with Ginger Beer. She loved this one but she is a huge fan of Prickly Pear. It was not overly sweet and had a slight fizz due to the ginger beer. The wine she chose was the Rustenberg Chardonnay. She would have preferred a Pinot Grigio or Moscato/Riesling but she say this was really good. It was not super sweet, just a slight sweetness, not too tart. It was a good glass of wine and a great portion. This was a great lounge and one I could see us coming to for dinner when we dont feel like cooking. Food starts at 5 but they open at 4. I highly recommend checking it out! ACES!

We dined as a family of 8 and there were no complaints from the burgers to the tacos, the chicken with crema, and the shrimp pineapple There was great music from the parking lot to the restaurant! Very festive and upbeat! Saw people dancing as soon as they exited the car and at the hostess stand. Just a great time!!! Our server, Patrick, was amazing!! He was very attentive and friendly, and it made for an enjoyable experience.

The concept was a Caribbean inspired menu and Bahama Breeze has always been a good time. This particular location offered friendly service and I always had a good time whenever I was here. I will miss Bahama Breeze.

Always up for trying something new and a friend in my party vouched for this place. We were able to…read morecall a few hours in advance and make a reservation for 8 people. Good idea on a Friday night because it certainly was busy. When you step in you feel like you're entering a tasteful log lodge with rustic charm. Voices are a bit noisy inside on a busy night. Could barely hear the background music playing, but able to converse among our table. It got pretty chilly in there as the night progressed. The A/C was cranking in our spot. When our server, Millie, learned it'd be 8 separate checks for our table, we received an eye-roll. However, at the conclusion of our meal I completely understood why. She had to carry over a cumbersome number of POS devices for our individual payments. Millie did provide excellent service, though. She was personable and attentive. As majority first-time guests, she gave us a free chips & dip appetizer. Initially candy bacon had run out, but after expressing our disappointment, Ryan the manager, ensured some materialized. We all loved it! The food does take a while because it's made from scratch, as promised. The presentation and taste are top-notch. Everyone was very pleased, each of us impressed with the level of care we experienced and the delicious cuisine. Vast menu with affordable options available, which is appreciated in this touristy area. Can't wait to return!

I recently read an article on my phone praising this restaurant, so I decided to give it a try. I…read moredrove approximately 30 minutes with the hope of having a unique and memorable dining experience. The restaurant itself was clean, welcoming, and friendly. Unfortunately, our order was not handled as well as I had hoped. We ordered two meals and received approximately 95% of what we ordered. I believe our waitress may simply have been having an off day. The beer was good, and the bison burger was enjoyable. My wife's meal was also fine. However, after we had essentially finished our meal, the electronic bill arrived through the Clover system, and I realized that my lettuce wedge had never been served. I mentioned the missing side order to our waitress, and she apologized and offered me a voucher that was valid for 30 days. I appreciated the gesture, but unfortunately, I live a considerable distance from the restaurant, so returning within 30 days--or making another 30-minute drive simply for the food offered here--does not make much sense for me. Overall, while the restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly, the experience did not live up to the expectations created by the article I had read. The food was acceptable, but the service and missing item were disappointing, especially after making the drive specifically to try the restaurant.
