    Dinner salad - delicious dressing
    Sarah S.

So many Thai restaurants claim to be the best in town, and I'm determined to find out which one is truly the best. It's the perfect job for me because I love Thai food. Mee Thai makes no such claims of superiority, but maybe they should? I ordered a Thai Coffee and others at the table got Thai Tea, so I got to try both (both delicious). Dinner comes with a small salad to start. The dressing (I think it was a sesame dressing) was so tasty I could have just had a big salad and been satisfied. We ordered two appetizers, fried tofu and egg rolls. I had the pad garlic with tofu and I also was able to try the massaman curry and lo mein ordered by others at the table. Everything was fresh and packed with flavor. My stir-fry contained a generous portion of all my favorite vegetables--broccoli, carrots, zucchini. On top of the yummy food, the service was excellent! Very attentive, fast, and friendly. I will continue on my quest to try all the Thai restaurants in Orlando but I know I'll be back for more Mee Thai when I want something I know is great. This place is going to be hard to beat!

Wonderful Red Curry Snapper! Delicious food, fair prices and excellent service. I beautifully thick snapper filet with veggies, red curry and perfect white rice. I'll be back!

We decided to go out last night to Mee Thai. When we arrived at the location, we were the only ones at the restaurant. Shortly after we walked in, the whole building filled up very fast! Our waitress was very charming and attentive, and the whole place was very accommodating as a whole. Shortly after we were seated, we were served a salad, I do not eat salad but the salad dressing was absolutely fantastic. This was also my first time trying Thai Tea, and fell in love! Now on to the food. Now let me tell you, once our food arrived at the table the smells just lit up our area! Everything tasted delightful, I personally ordered the Yum crispy duck. This was my first time having crispy duck but it was phenomenal. The sauce went so good with the duck, the flavors and usage of herbs and spices were great! For dessert I tried the mango sticky rice. I had originally ordered it to go, but it was gone with in 5 minutes, before we even left the restaurant! It was also very good. Overall, this is a very charming place, with great staff, great decoration, great service, and phenomenal food! I highly recommend Mee Thai when in the Orlando area!

The service was very friendly. The ambiance was quiet during lunch time on a Saturday afternoon. The Massaman curry was very tasty but the mango sticky rice lacked flavor. Unfortunately, the mango didn't have much flavor and the condensed milk was a bit watery. The Thai tea was good but extremely sweet so I ended up throwing it away.

I ordered delivery from this restaurant on New Years Eve because my usual spots were closed. It was a pleasant surprise that the food came hot and was very tasty. Some of the best spring rolls I've ever had and I really enjoyed the spicy balance of the panang curry. I like how an ample portion of rice is given. I really enjoyed the lo mein too, although my husband thought it was a little bitter. The green curry was a little too sweet for my taste. Would definitely be back to try more items!

Our pursuit of great Thai food in Orlando brought us to an unassuming restaurant in Northern Orlando with friendly service and a reasonable price but ultimately only serving uninspiring food which leads me to believe that perhaps "Mee Thai" may be better named as "Meh Thai" We tried three dishes and none of them were bad per se, but likewise none brought back culinary flashbacks of Bangkok or Chiang Mai.

My go-to takeout order is their pad thai with tofu. The pad thai is a good portion size and very delicious. The way they do tofu here is perfect, it's fried well and has a great texture. The customer service is always great.

A small place on Lee road. The food is really good.. service is quick. Less than 5 mins to have the food on the table. This is probably one of the best Thai places in town. Very pleased! Great find!

Updated to add: Have always loved the food here, but when we came the last time there was a notice from the Health Department saying they were closed. Upon further review, their cleaning standards seem to be a bit concerning - which makes me SO sad.

Went here with high expectations after seeing the reviews. However, the food was ok. I have had better Thai Food at other places. We tried the drunken fried rice and noodles (vegetarian), spring rolls, red curry, and a frozen mango drink. We only liked the spring rolls and mango drink. Service was good. The server took our order correctly as we had some specifications. Food came out pretty fast without any mistakes. Inside the restaurant was clean, but there was a very strong smell of meat. They have a small, cute outdoor seating area. Do check it out once.

Food didn't have much flavor at all. It is overpriced for what you get too. There are many better Thai restaurants in Orlando in my opinion.

We started with the chicken gyoza and coconut shrimp--honestly, both were skippable. They tasted like something straight out of a frozen bag and didn't really set the tone for what was to come. Thankfully, the entrées completely turned things around. The chicken pad Thai, Chinese broccoli with shrimp, and blue crab fried rice were all outstanding--packed with flavor and clearly the stars of the menu. We ordered everything medium spice, which definitely had a kick. Even as people who enjoy spice, we'd probably go light next time. We wrapped things up with mango sticky rice, which was the perfect sweet finish. Overall, a bit of a mixed start, but the mains more than delivered. I'll definitely be back next time I'm passing through Orlando.

We were visiting Orlando on Christmas Eve, and of course, a stop at our favorite spot was non-negotiable. Over the years, they've remained consistently exceptional in quality, flavor, and service. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed by a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. Nothing has changed in the last 15 years and honestly, I wouldn't want it any other way. We were seated immediately, and as always, the service was quick, friendly, and attentive. I always start with the cucumber salad, the Thai chili dressing is absolutely incredible. My all-time favorite dish remains the Crazy Meat, which is hands down the best red curry you'll ever have. It's served with a perfectly fluffy portion of rice shaped like a heart, and the broth truly warms the soul. My husband usually orders the fried rice, but this time he tried the Pad Penang. It's similar to my dish, with a thicker, richer sauce rather than a soup-like broth. He loved it so much that he already plans to order extra sauce next time. For our kids, the waitress confidently recommended fried chicken and rice. I didn't even realize this was an option since there's no kids' menu, but this was some of the best fried chicken we've ever had. The kids devoured it, and we may have snuck a few pieces ourselves because it was just that good. If you're looking for unforgettable Thai food, this is the place. We'll keep coming back year after year, and it will always be our favorite.

The service was great had a lovely waitress who was so friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes. My usual go to is yellow curry but this yellow curry was done differently, it lacked flavor and the veg options inside the dish was also different from what I'm accustom to. The chicken pad Thai was ok missed the crushed peanuts on top & lacked sauce. The portions were great and we finished our dishes but unfortunately we won't be back.

Randomly chose Pop Thai and so happy we did! It's a very nice restaurant vibe with house music playing, very attentive staff and the food, so delicious! We couldn't find it originally and drove past it so when we were trying to figure out where it was, passersby overheard us and said, that's our favorite Thai and pointed us in the direction. It's part of a long shopping strip with a variety of shops, but they're on the corner and street parking is available. We ordered chicken Thai salad, one of the currys and veggie rolls. The chicken Thai salad was extremely flavorful and so fresh and light, even though I hadn't planned to eat any, it was so good, we had to share.:) I added potatoes to our curry and it was an extra $2 chg. The chef was cute and made our rice mound into a heart. Perfect combo and lots of chicken with the veggies. My only caveat is the veggie rolls were a little mushy and I would pass on them next time. Everything is so flavorful otherwise and it was nice to see real Thai people working there. We learned our waitresses real name, but I'm tired and can't remember now. I went to a Japanese restaurant recently and nobody was Japanese. It really makes a difference in authenticity of the food when they come from the area they're presenting. Highly recommend this place for lunch and dinner. Yummy!!!!
