This has been my go-to lunch spot with my sisters because it was the perfect midway point- but now it is a favorite lunch spot for many reasons. 1- Everyone who works there is sooooo nice and awesome! 2- Delicious Chicken Satay and tofu Pad Thai 3- insanely quick I love the look of this place and the ambiance (particularly at the booths in the back). I've never had trouble with parking, even at their busiest lunch time. And they started calling my sister Massaman Curry. This obviously made me so happy. We met friends here for a quiet Tuesday evening meal together. The family-owned restaurant has been serving Thai food since 1998. The interior probably is the same, but it was not a distraction from the good food we were served. My wife and I always order summer rolls with peanut sauce when it's offered on the menu where we eat, and the ones we were served hit the spot. For my main meal, I ordered Cashew Chicken at medium Thai heat. They hit the spice on the nose and the rest of dish was an ample amount of veggies, cashews, and chicken. Tried Siam Garden Thai for the first time with a takeout order. We got the House Special Fried Rice ($12), Pad Thai ($11), and a Thai Iced Tea ($5). The fried rice itself had a nice texture, but the mix-ins (meats, pineapple, baby corn) didn't bring much flavor. The pad thai tasted okay but the noodles were soggy, and the sauce pooled at the bottom of the container, which made it less enjoyable. Thai iced tea was pretty standard but didn't stand out. Overall, not one of my favorite lunch experiences, though I did notice the dining room was busy for a Tuesday lunch, so maybe the dine-in experience is better than takeout. read more

We came in on a Saturday evening and were seated right away. Crispy spring rolls were fantastic and the plumb sauce was perfect. The restaurant was very quiet. Lots of people, but all whispers, no background music. I ordered my meal without onions, and it came heaped with onions. I didn't say anything but no one came to check on us after food was delivered, so I just picked them out, but we wouldn't bring our child with food allergies here to eat. The food was good, portions were large and prices were fair. Three meals, two appetizers, and 2 sodas was about $75 with leftovers. read more

Siam Garden is hands down our favorite Thai restaurant! The food is consistently excellent, with a great balance of flavors that keep us coming back. The prices are so reasonable, and the service is always great, whether we're dining in or taking out. On our recent visit, we decided to do takeout since I wasn't feeling my best. My wife picked up some food, and we tried a few new dishes. The Wonton Soup was good but a bit on the bland side for my taste; I generally prefer a Chinese style Wonton Soup. However, the Tum Kha Chicken was fantastic, flavorful and satisfying. We also enjoyed the Drunken Noodles and Red Curry this time around. Siam Garden's curries are always impressive, we love their Red, Panang, Massamun, and Green curries (in no specific order). My wife is particularly fond of their noodle dishes, and you can't go wrong with their Pad Thai, Pad Se-ew, or the Woonsen if you're into very skinny glass noodles. Happy they were open tonight. The interior is themed to Thailand but a bit dated. However the booth we sat in was by a window so that was very nice. We were greeted warmly and shown our table. The menu is pretty extensive but well Fi used on Thai. I hate it when a place tries to meet every whim. We ordered up the dumplings. They came out quickly and they had a tad bit too much garlic on top but otherwise good flavor and obviously made to order. Next came the Tom Kha soup. Very good. Flavorful and just the right balance of broth to ingredients. The Pad Thai was one of our entrees. It was very good and a large portion. Could have split it. Second was the Green Curry. I went with chicken and did not regret it. Also enough for two. This entree was "spicy" and did have some heat but not enough to be unpleasant. It actually complimented the over all dish. We skipped dessert and put this on the list of places to go again. Not that far from Park Ave and worth the drive for good food at good prices. Pro tip- parking can be a challenge when it gets busy so carpool if you can. One last tell that there is still the best to come was the table of four women speaking Thai having dinner too. read more

I have been coming here for years, by years I mean since 1996. Mostly takeout. My go to dish is their Yum Woon Sen. it was taken off of the menu years ago. I cried a little, the owner told me not to worry. They can make this dish anytime. A man of his word, I have been enjoying this dish ever since. It is not normally found on Thai restaurant menus. It would normally be found under the salads section. It is legit amazing. The light spicy fish sauce dressing is the best I have had. So good, I slurp up any that might be left over. I was at a Thai Villa this week and saw they had it in their menu. I was excited, ordered it and was very disappointed. The noodles were wrong, the presentation was wrong and worse of all the dressing was just lime juice. No space or flavor. So I had to get my fixed a few days later. If you can handle fish sauce, which is not heavy in flavor in this dish, I encourage you to ask for it off menu. read more

Siam Garden STILL going strong! Friday, I thoroughly enjoyed an early evening dinner with a friend at one of the forgotten favorite Thai restaurants. We started with yummy shrimp summer rolls with peanut sauce then for entree, I had the Panang Curry . It was spicy delicious and the red and green peppers were cooked crisp tender but the green beans could have been cooked a tad more. I love this place! The atmosphere is relaxing and food delicious! My friend had the cashew and chicken which came with carrots, mushrooms, cashews, and onions. She got the jasmine rice. We both finished EVERYTHING! We each had iced tea to start and domestic beer with our meal but they also offer an assortment of Asian beers, too. I came with a large group and ordered the pork pad pak. It's a dish I've had a hundred times in a hundred different places, and the version I was served here was just okay. It ended up being more of a braise than a stir-fry, and as a result the vegetables and pork were a little overcooked. Also, the vegetables weren't particularly bountiful, comprising mostly carrots and onions, with a small smattering of snow peas and mushrooms, with one lonely spear of broccoli. Flavor-wise it was okay. Service was friendly, but it took a long time for our table to be served (possibly because of the size of the group; I think there were ten of us). I think the workers just hate kids... treated very poorly. There was definitely a misunderstanding of what we ordered and when they brought out the wrong order, they fully blamed us and were super rude. Really enjoyed this place. From the outside it doesn't look like much but the inside is nice. It took a while for me to get seated but when I did, the service was great. We came to Siam Garden for some Thai on a Friday lunch. There wasn't a wait and they had about 5 other parties seated upon arrival. We were quickly greeted by Ruth and shown to our table, we requested the back as it is more intimate and is very chic. The place has a beautiful ambiance with nice amount of seating. Our waitress was kind and courteous. Our group of 4 tried the spring rolls, Pad Thai, House Rice, and curry and Mixed Veggies. Everything was flavorful and delicious. The food came out hot and flavorful. There is varying degrees of hot, and they are very accomadating to allergies and can prepare many of their dishes vegan. I love the beautiful array of soy sauce, chilli sauce and peanuts they bring to every table. Prices are reasonable and portion sizes are abundant. We will absolutely return. read more

Since 7 of us went and to maintain social distance we were seated at the back and the spot had a huge table but we kind of had to crawl or squiggle through the couch. The menu is pretty standard and food came quick. I ordered a chicken panang curry and asked for hot. Omg it was so delicious and perfectly portioned. It's a literal flavor bomb in your mouth. My boyfriend showed me this spot about a year ago. Him and his family have been coming here since he was little. The pad Thai is also amazing, do not forget to squeeze that lime! We also had the summer rolls and the pork dumplings. I discovered a hack for my spicy lovers! When they drop off your waters you will get a blue and white ceramic containers. There's extra peanuts, red chili flakes and a spicy paste that is similar to sambal. I took soy sauce, the paste, and the chili flakes and mixed them together. I dipped my summer rolls in that voilaaaaa!!! A delicious spicy summer roll/dumpling. We also had some delicious iced Thai tea to end our night. The servers are really nice and their booths are super spacious. The worst thai restaurant I have ever been to! I'm thai and I'm sure this is not authentic thai food like they advertise. The only thing that acceptable for me is Thai tea. It tasted pretty good but they make the common mistake of making it way too sweet. Apart from that...I can say that this is the worst thai restaurant I have ever been to. Here are the reasons! First of all, when asked, the server told me that I should order Duck Noodle Soup over the drunken noodle because it's more authentic. Turns out it's nowhere near the word 'authentic'. I understand that she might not be Thai and doesn't understand what authentic thai food tastes like but it's obvious that she is uneducated about thai food and gave false information to me. Second, the food doesn't taste good. My Duck Noodle Soup wasn't Thai noodle soup. The noodle was overcooked. The soup was bland. The duck was crispy which is not how it should be and it was also greasy. My husband ordered Panang Curry. It tasted pretty good except it was quite sweet and it had way too many ball peppers and beans. There were not enough rice and beef. Third, the server never checked on us if everything was okay. Everyone who works in that restaurant does not care if you have to excessively long wait times for your food. We had to wave down another worker to get the check because our server just disappeared after taking our order. She only reappeared after we left to get her tip. This restaurant doesn't only serve bad tasting food but also has very bad service. I'll never go back there again. So disappointing! read more

We went to Siam Garden after a monthly meeting we attend nearby. Last time we had gone to P.F. Chang's. We started with chicken satay. The strips were narrow but delicious. I ordered Pad Thai. It was tasty and was a generous serving, which was a good thing as it was a late 3:00 p.m. lunch for us. My wife had a chicken and rice dish with peanut dipping sauce and that was also quite good.
