The food came out in a timely manner and was so good. They served us water bottles which were nice and preferred. They ran out of beer so we went next door. The place filled up quickly. My wife, being Thai, had our family come here for a lunch a couple months ago. She had met the owner in the past and loved the food. The pad see ewe was good portion and tasted in line with others I've had locally. Thanks to the older woman who came out and was so very gracious to us, talking to my family and I, as she is was a 5 star beacon in a place with 4 star food taste. Why the 3 stars? The dismissive attitude of the young man serving us (we were the only customers in the store). After sitting down, clearly to his chagrin, I even recommended to my wife we leave because he almost made us feel unwanted. If it weren't for the old Thai lads, he honestly could have made this closer to a 1-star experience. He clearly didn't want to be there or didn't want us there). Went here once with a friend and since then have been back two more times! The food is incredible, the service is good. They give you a bottled water for free! And, the prices can't be beat. We're just astounded at the quantity and quality vs the price. The location from the outside doesn't look like much - it's in a regular shopping center location - but once inside it is nicely decorated. But what makes it special is the food and nice employees. My favorite Thai restaurant. They have the best staff and service and an amazing lunch special. For lunch you get soup, springs, and any entree on the lunch menu. What I love is that their portions for lunch are also very big. My husband and I order the red curry and always have leftovers that we'll eat for dinner. If you come for dinner and have a group of more than 2 people, I suggest getting the soup boat. My new favorite dish is the drunken noodles. The next time I order though I'll have to split it with someone because noodles don't reheat well. Also don't plan on eating dessert after your meal because they don't offer dessert on their menu. Thai spring rolls were delish. We were the only ones dining in so no problem with COVID restrictions. Staff were wearing masks but I didn't see any extra cleaning. The glass door and handle was probably touched a million times and the server dropped the to go lid on the floor and put it on our table for us to use. They didn't have fountain drinks due to COVID. My favorites, aside from the staple Pad Thai are : Crispy fish with chili sauce (if you can get them to use the "chef's special sauce" that comes with the duck- it is out of this world); and Phad Saom Lot with beef- it's super crispy with a tangy tamarind sauce (best to eat it there as it gets less crispy in a to-go container). This was my first experience with Thai food so I really didn't know what to get! I went with my family and I got the drunken noodles which were so hot they just came out of the pan! The flavors were something I wasn't used to but still tasty. It was fun trying something new. My family all got different things so we could all try something different. I really liked the massaman curry (I'd probably get a curry if I went again). The vegetable spring rolls were so hot and crispy. Everything was so fresh and hot straight out of the kitchen which was so nice. The staff was very courteous, even though they were extremely busy and only had one server doing everything! You could tell he was trying his best and it was a popular place because people kept coming in for to go orders and tables!
