Lunch order of Panang Curry W/ chicken and white rice. Absolutely delicious, the blend of flavors are so unique.
    Drew M.

Thai Dishes Review: Ordered here for lunch to try out their new Thai dishes. The Drunken Noodles was super yummy, plenty of protein, veggies, and noodles! Their Panang Curry was absolutely delicious, the blend of flavors are just so unique and well executed by the chef. Both lunches were perfectly portioned and didn't leave us hungry. Also, for my heat lovers, their Thai Hot spiciness level doesn't disappoint!

Delicious food, quick friendly service and bright and cheery atmosphere. Love it ! Still my #1 choice for Chinese and Thai in the area.

    General Tso chicken
    Humberto R.

This is the worst Chinese food place I've ever eaten at. What a disappointment! The large general tso seemed like they counted the pieces of chicken. I ordered the large and they spread the pieces out to make it seem full. Additionally, I don't know why they bother to ask how hot you want it. I said I went the chicken to be hot, instead it tasted like it was made with sugar and no other season. I asked to get chili oil and I didn't get that either. The chicken lomein was terrible. The noodles tasted like nothing at all, and the chicken in it was barley noticeable and to top it off it tasted like nothing at all. However, they do give you a bucket of tasteless white rice that can feed the neighborhood because they probably think that it's proportionate to the amount of chicken they give you. Overall, it's garbage, no good tasteless food. I wish I could give them negative stars because they don't even deserve one.

Curry chicken combination dinner with extra sauce.
    John M.

Friendly service, but that's about it. Oh, and the food was prepared relatively quick. Unfortunately, the food was subpar on both quality and quantity (especially when the price is a bit high). I had a combination dinner, as did two others with me. We all were of the same decision; there would be no reason to return to this establishment. Let's start with the egg roll. There was literally no meat within it. Bland, horrid. For my soup I had a wonton egg drop soup. As I bit into the wanton, again, a lack of meat. For the last one I cut it in half and there was a minuscule amount of meat. A piece so small, it could have passed for a scrap of food. Look at this photo. Ridiculous. I had the curry chicken. Again, small portion. A little meat and they couldn't even be semi-generous with the rice. A small meal. It wasn't only about the quantity, it was the quality. It simply was not good. Bland, boring, subpar. These are the kind words that come to mind.

The basil pork was awesome and delicious! I will definitely order it again! Order it with medium spice/heat.

Ambiance was very nice, tranquil. Lot's of green space. We even got a picture taken against the front green wall sitting space. Very nice place. Service was very good. Every person we encountered was nice. The food came out very timely and was warm, fresh, and vibrant. No worries at all. As for the food itself, it was very good. I started off with the Tom Yum Goong (Shrimp in a house spicy lemongrass broth with onions, cilantro, and mushrooms). The broth was so light and herbal, with a nice lemongrass zing. Mushrooms were the main player in terms of bite and chew here, and they were delicious. Loved this soup. We also had the Thai Fish Cakes (Deep-fried fish patties with red curry paste, kaffir lime leaf, and thin sliced long green bean, house recipe spicy and sweet tangy dipping sauce). Amazing. Crisp exterior with a moist, curry-forward interior that was fishy, but not too fishy. Perfect for dipping in that balanced sauce. For my main, I had my favorite Thai dish, the Phad Se-Ew (Wide rice noodle stir-fried with broccoli, carrot, egg and black pepper in mild soy-garlic seasoning). These noodles are So good. They're wide and hold the sauce really well. They have a good chew to them. And they were inundated with nice, crunchy veggies. I added chicken, and I got a ton of it. Very good entree. I also got the chance to try the Lemongrass Signature Curry (Shrimp, squid, scallop in special-recipe, stir-fried curry with lemongrass, kaffir lime leaf, bell pepper, onion, carrot, and egg). The luscious curry, the perfectly cooked seafood, yes even the scallop, and the myriad veg made this dish a stunner. The only think I needed was more white rice on the side. For dessert, we got the Durian Ice Cream. Yes, you read that correctly. And while you could smell it, it wasn't smelly. All of the steps between the durian being grown in another country and becoming my ice cream in Oviedo had teased out the horrible smell and left only a slight funk and a very smooth, actually delightful little bowl of ice cream. Go out on a limb and try it. It'll be fine, I promise. Overall, this was a great little Thai spot. I'm glad I came, and I'm glad it's so close by to where I live.

My wife and I have enjoyed good, tasty food and good service here a number of times with friends. When we go to a Thai restaurant, we'll order fresh Summer Rolls, to try them out. From our first few times of ordering here, I'd have ranked the rolls as some of the best I've tasted. But, the last time, they were okay. The house-made hoisin peanut butter sauce, however, remains a standout. Most recently, I tried the steamed dumplings app and enjoyed wrapped minced chicken with the soy vinaigrette sauce. Tasty! All the dishes we've ordered here have been delivered in a reasonable time and have been flavorful. To name a few: Tofu and Vegetable Soup broth, Wok Fried Basil with crunchy red and green bells peppers; Wok-Fried Ginger / Garlic and Black Pepper / Mixed Vegetables (3 different dishes). Being able to choose the level of heat is a beautiful thing, even if the dish contains brown savory sauce. My choice is always medium heat, and the chefs nail it every time. My wife, on the other hand, can only have low to zero heat, so she can enjoy the dish. The service is always good, moving from kitchen to table, and polite. Reservations are accepted, but not always necessary. Weekends appear to be the busiest time. The inside seating is modest, but the level of service keeps the table turnover quick. Outside patio seating is also a good option, weather permitting.

The food and experience never disappoints, and we leave afterwards and say to each other, "That was good!" The food is always tasty and fresh, but on our most recent visit, the apps and entrées seemed fresher and the taste exceeded the Thai dishes we'd eaten over the past year elsewhere. Somehow, I always order the Spicy Basil, medium heat, and this time I ordered it with eggplant (for an up charge). The veggies were crunchy and the basil seemed freshly picked. The sauce was flavorful and the heat tilted toward the mild side, but additional spice options were brought to the table when I asked. My wife ordered the Sautéed Mixed Veggies, as usual, and complimented on the freshness of the veggies, the goodly amount, and the overall flavor. The summer rolls were a satisfying appetizer with a peanut vinaigrette that might have used hoisin sauce as one of the ingredients and its addition provided an overall different, but good, taste. The indoor seating is modest with maybe 10-12 booths and covered outdoor seating is also available. The tables seem to turn over fairly quickly. The exterior is also very modest, and you might drive by the restaurant without knowing it. Service is solid. Food is the star here. Thai-licious food at Thailicious!

Siam O-Cha is genuine, delicious, expertly prepared Thai cuisine that's worth a drive to get. I've had just about everything on the menu, but let's hit some of the heroes. The dumplings are divine, both in texture and flavor. The chicken satay is really good, but even better is the peanut sauce and Thai pickles that are served with it. They've really taken a normal chicken-on-a-stick and elevated to something culinary. Finally, the green curry. I could eat this everyday. Sometimes, I do. Yesterday, I ordered it Thai hot, and lemme tell you, that's an adventure. Super delicious and alive with spicy energy, it's really more than just food. It's a journey in spice and flavors that are a cut above the rest. And the people are as friendly and helpful as they come. We tried two: drunken noodles and garlic noodles. Both were flavor packed and had no room for improvement. Also, shoutout for generous portions! We also sampled around the other shareable options. Had bao buns and the wings. Both options were tasty but the bao buns were a bit dry. A sauce would have leveled them up big time. The chicken wings were nice and crispy but the sauces could have also used a tad more flavor. Overall notes that the noodle options are a 5/5 and the shared plates are more like a 4/5. Overall, the experience was a bit of a mixed bag, leaning toward mediocre for the price point. The Food * The Pork: The highlight of the dish was definitely the grilled pork. It was well-seasoned, flavorful, and cooked well. * The Rice & Fillings: Unfortunately, the balance of the bowl was way off. A massive portion, easily half the bowl, was just plain white rice. To make matters worse, they do not serve traditional Vietnamese fish sauce (nước chấm), leaving a huge mountain of rice completely dry and flavorless. * The Veggies: The pickled daikon and radish were pretty underwhelming and didn't bring that bright, crisp punch you usually expect in a Vietnamese bowl. Value & Atmosphere * Value: At $17.00, a bowl like this is quite high for what you actually get. Paying a premium price for a dish that is 50% plain rice and missing its core sauce feels like a letdown. * Atmosphere: The saving grace of the experience was the setting. The supporting atmosphere of the Food Factory is a massive plus, as it's a great, lively environment to hang out in. Verdict: If you are craving an authentic, well-balanced Vietnamese pork bowl with all the traditional fixings, you might want to look elsewhere. Underwhelming for $17.00, but the vibe of the venue helps save the overall experience.
