Pop Thai is always a home run when looking for good Thai food in the downtown Orlando area. Let's start with the yellow curry. It tastes like the most authentic yellow curry you can get. The potatoes are always cooked perfectly, the chicken is tender, and I like the size of the carrots (on the larger size). The Pad Thai was solid too. Same thing here. The chicken was the best part. I would like it a bit more "saucy" if that's the right way to describe it. But it's still great. What's perfect is the price is super reasonable. We bought three meals and spent less than $50.

This has become our favorite Thai restaurant. I actually heard about this restaurant through the local yelp Elite community. My husband and I enjoy this restaurant. It has a nice vibe, very calm and relaxed but clean and modern. There is street parking available in front of the building or a small parking lot behind the building. Service is always fast and very friendly. I really enjoy their Thai iced tea. My favorite dishes are the pineapple curry fried rice, and massaman curry. My husband has tried various dishes, but the one he keeps coming back to are the duck dishes. He has had several, and he likes them all, including the peanut and the coconut curry. Five stars for fast and friendly service and fabulous food.

Orlando-Ohhhhh my goodness! This place was amazing! There were only two of us so we did not get to order a bunch of different items, but what we did order was delicious. Chicken Pad Thai and lump crab with shrimp fried rice. Both super fresh and yummy! Their Thai coffee was a bit too sweet and extremely strong so beware!!!! We definitely will be back with more people so we can try more items! The restaurant itself was super clean and the bathrooms were even cleaner. That is a major plus. Service was on point.

Nice to-go portion of Drunken Noodles. So yummy! Lots of chicken. Loved the basil. I recommend this!

I was craving Thai food late on Friday night, and all of my typical go-to places were already closed. So, I decided to give Pop Thai a shot. I am so thankful that I did- because it is replacing all of my old haunts! To clarify, my order was to-go. First off and most importantly, the food was scrumptious. Ordering online was SUPER simple. I ordered through Pop Thai's website, since I've learned the ways Uber Eats undercuts local businesses with insane fees and commissions. Parking was plentiful in the back of the restaurant, which was nice. And the order was ready within less than 15 minutes. Every meal had a very nice to-go portion. The staff is friendly and efficient. THE GOODS: 1. Tom Kha soup- wow wow wee wow. De-licious. The flavor was wonderful. We ordered a large soup (which came in the typical plastic cylinder-esque container). We ordered it with the shrimp upgrade- it came with several plump shrimp. I was happy with the amount of shrimp it came with and the size of the shrimp. It also came with a ton of mushrooms. Would definitely order this again. 2. Red curry (with chicken)- Loved this. Again, the flavor was great. It came with a side of rice that was *slighty* undercooked (my only complaint of the night). Lots of veggies and chicken in my order. I am a wuss with spice, but the spice level was tolerable! Thank goodness. But if you love spice, you should probably request it to be a bit spicier! Would definitely order this again. 3. Drunken Noodles (with chicken)- Oooooof, this was love. These noooodzzz will having me coming back to Pop Thai all of the time! I saw other reviewers saying that it was too salty... My dish had a great balance; mine was perfectly seasoned. I also saw that other reviewers said that their noodles had hardly any chicken in it... Maybe Pop Thai listened to the complaints- my order had plenty of chicken. Very, very tasty. I am excited to order this again. Overall, I loved Pop Thai. I thought everything was fairly-priced. We loved everything we ordered (except for the white rice). I couldn't recommend this place more- it was very yummy!

I like the music, the space, the servers were very kind and nice. The plate she recommended was not grate. My husband he liked his dish. For sure I will tray again.

Came on a weekday and took advantage of their lunch menu. I ordered drunken noodles with chicken--the dish was fresh, delicious, and the portion was huge...so it became dinner as well. My only issue was the spice level being too mild after I asked for Thai hot. Our server was wonderful and everything came out quickly. There is a small parking lot in the back which was great, but usually full for dinner.

Pop Thai is a no frills Thai restaurant on Mills. I love that there is usually no wait and the servers are always friendly and efficient. The food is solid and moderately priced. My wife and I shared the crab Rangoon and firecracker shrimp to start. We loved the crab Rangoon, and the fried shrimps were good, just different from what we were expecting. The shrimp pad thai was good, but we liked the drunken noodles with chicken better. Overall, we would go back!

I think this place is decent! The curries weren't spicy which I liked, but I kind of wished that we got more rice because there was more curry than rice. The server was very nice and we got served our food pretty quickly. It was good experience overall, and it was a cozy space to catch up with friends :)

I can't believe I have never been to Pop Thai! They have all the traditional Thai dishes- curries, pad Thais, and sushi rolls and soups! The food was perfectly cooked and heavenly seasoned! Service was excellent! They offer beer, wine, Thai iced tea and soft drinks. I will be back!

It's been my go-to takeout spot for a few years now. The portions easily cover two meals, the food is always ready on time, and the quality is consistent. I've only ate in once--around 5:30 so I can't speak on how busy it gets, but everything came out super fast.

After a long time away, I made a lunch visit to enjoy the beef panang ($18). Once more, it was absolutely delicious to enjoy it with plenty of beef, fresh zucchini, carrots and peppers with enough curry for the white rice provided. Service was A+ as always, found parking right in front (it was late afternoon).

This was my first time here, and I was highly impressed! I was craving fried rice and happened to be on Mills at the time. The service here really blew me away! The waiter and the server team were very polite and attentive! They had an excellent team work and the whole staff took turn being accommodating! The shrimp fried rice was excellent! It was light and flavorful! The rice wasn't oily or unpleasant in any way! The Rangoon cheese puffs were wonderful too! I'll definitely be back!

Pop Thai is a great choice for Thai food in the Mills 50 area of town. My favorite dish is the red curry with chicken. The side of rice comes in a cute heart shape. The appetizer platter is also really tasty! I have only come here for lunch but service has been good both times. The atmosphere is quiet so I imagine it would make a nice dinner as well. There is a small parking lot behind the restaurant and some street parking if you're brave enough to parallel park on Mills. I'm a fan of Pop Thai and I'll be back!

We started with the chicken gyoza and coconut shrimp--honestly, both were skippable. They tasted like something straight out of a frozen bag and didn't really set the tone for what was to come. Thankfully, the entrées completely turned things around. The chicken pad Thai, Chinese broccoli with shrimp, and blue crab fried rice were all outstanding--packed with flavor and clearly the stars of the menu. We ordered everything medium spice, which definitely had a kick. Even as people who enjoy spice, we'd probably go light next time. We wrapped things up with mango sticky rice, which was the perfect sweet finish. Overall, a bit of a mixed start, but the mains more than delivered. I'll definitely be back next time I'm passing through Orlando.

We were visiting Orlando on Christmas Eve, and of course, a stop at our favorite spot was non-negotiable. Over the years, they've remained consistently exceptional in quality, flavor, and service. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed by a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. Nothing has changed in the last 15 years and honestly, I wouldn't want it any other way. We were seated immediately, and as always, the service was quick, friendly, and attentive. I always start with the cucumber salad, the Thai chili dressing is absolutely incredible. My all-time favorite dish remains the Crazy Meat, which is hands down the best red curry you'll ever have. It's served with a perfectly fluffy portion of rice shaped like a heart, and the broth truly warms the soul. My husband usually orders the fried rice, but this time he tried the Pad Penang. It's similar to my dish, with a thicker, richer sauce rather than a soup-like broth. He loved it so much that he already plans to order extra sauce next time. For our kids, the waitress confidently recommended fried chicken and rice. I didn't even realize this was an option since there's no kids' menu, but this was some of the best fried chicken we've ever had. The kids devoured it, and we may have snuck a few pieces ourselves because it was just that good. If you're looking for unforgettable Thai food, this is the place.
