Came here for the first time and our visit was great. Our waitress was Naam and she made the service even better.Naam was very helpful and had great recommendations for us. The mango sticky rice drink was delicious the mango sticky rice amazing the chicken fried rice so tasty the noodles delicious the grilled steak was amazing the chicken wings were good. The sea bass in the lime sauce was excellent so good a must have. The flavor was like nothing I've tasted before. As for the ambiance it was so beautiful and elegant with a feel of a modern boho vibe. You are able to eat inside or outside which is always good for an option. When visiting Orlando again I will be back.

Came for my birthday and was not disappointed! The restaurant has a good vibe to it. Staff was nice and our waitress was helpful with menu suggestions. Everything we had was flavorful and great portions. I ordered lump crab fried rice! Good chunks of crab on top of a mountain of rice. Also ordered their mango sticky rice sundae. Didn't know what to expect but great balancing of flavors.

TALAY is okay at BEST. There are definitely other Thai cuisine-based restaurants that surpass TALAY. However, there's no need to dive into that. What is GOOD about this place is that the service is usually ALWAYS very quick. Very rarely have I waited long at this restaurant for anything, be it help from staff, food, or drinks. They should really pride themselves on that fact because sometimes it is hard to come by such efficient service - especially during busy dinner hours. The restaurant itself is so beautiful. Very IG worthy! It looks lovely in the daytime, and during the evening, the mood lighting indoors adds to the overall intimate feel of the space. There is also a good amount of seating outdoors, if you want to eat outdoors. Noir Bar is connected via a not-so-hidden corridor/passageway. Within that passageway are also the shared restrooms for both locations. As far as the food goes, it is OKAY. Again, it isn't the best, but it most certainly is not BAD. I usually order one of my usual dishes. In my last adventure to TALAY, because I have been a handful of times, I went with their vegetable Pad Thai (Price: $17.00). It was chock-full of veggies, a thin rice noodle, eggs, bean sprouts, scallions, and peanuts (which they placed off to the side). The sauce this time around was a bit sweeter than my liking, but overall, I enjoyed my plate. I didn't order any of their seasonal cocktails, but I do love that they offer various seasonal cocktails (and seasonal menus) throughout the year. It is a great way to keep you going back. Pricing can get a little high pending what you order. However, a good chunk of the menu is "reasonable." Parking in this area is always a hassle, but it exists all around, and if you are lucky, you can get FREE street parking. All in all, it is a good place to visit. I really haven't had any bad experiences here either.

I love the intimate feel of this place. I enjoyed trying different small plates. The drink was so delicious. I also like that there is a speakeasy located in the back of this restaurant with an entirely different vibe. It's like you get two restaurants in one.

Talay is hands-down one of the best Thai restaurants I've had in Orlando! And that's saying a lot because I don't really like Thai food. Everything we got was so flavorful and gorgeously executed. You really can't go wrong with anything here! My favorite bites were the Khao Pad Pu (crab fried rice) and Pad Pak Ruom with crispy duck. The service was friendly and helpful and the ambiance of the restaurant was absolutely stunning!

This is a beautiful restaurant with a wonderful patio. There is a good selection of items and drinks. It is a little pricy and sharing is a good idea to keep the cost down. We had two drinks the guava and tamarind but did not enjoy the flavors. For appetizers we had the roti with curry sauce...yum and spring rolls which both were very good. The food is presented well and staff are very courteous. For dinner tried shrimp with noodles, veggies with jasmine rice, crab fried rice and marinated picanha. The food came out a little slow and all otlf it was not hot. Good flavors with the shrimp, veggies, rice and the picanha was very tender and delicious. No room for dessert and took food home for tomorrow's lunch. Overall a good experience.

This automatically became my favorite Thai restaurant in Orlando! Great service and even better food! We ordered the oysters, which were delicious and came with a green sauce that had just the right amount of spice. We also had the Yum Ta Krai Salmon, which tasted incredibly fresh. The Goong Prik Kluea shrimp were large, flavorful, and perfectly cooked! Our favorite dishes of the night were definitely the chicken Tom Kha soup and the Pa Nang scallops. I love a good Tom Kha soup, and this was easily the best I've ever had! It was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced, served over a special dish with a flame underneath to keep it hot throughout the meal, such a nice touch! The other standout was the Pa Nang scallops. Whoever makes the sauce for this dish is a genius! I almost wanted to grab a straw and drink the sauce by itself. The scallops were cooked perfectly, and the flavors were incredible. Wow! They also have a great drink menu, but we took advantage of their happy hour specials and ordered a passion fruit mimosa and a coconut mojito. Both had authentic, fresh fruit flavors and paired perfectly with the meal. There is also a speakeasy bar called NOIR, where you can hang out before or after dinner. Great music, great drinks, and definitely worth checking out!

Talay has a super cute boho vibe inside and I love all the decor here. We visited on a weekend for lunch, it wasn't that busy. We ordered a few things and our food came out so quickly! I loved that bc we wanted something fast but wanted to try this place. We ordered a vermicelli roll with shrimp to start, these wee kinda small but unique with fried vermicelli noodles on top for $8. For our entree we shared the Pad Kee Mow with pork, $17. Loved the flat noodles and basil flavor with peppers. We also got a side of roti for $4. It was not that impressive, kinda seemed like sad frozen boxed roti. I'd skip ordering that. All and all, we enjoyed our visit but I think there are other Thai places we prefer in Orlando.

Came here for a Book Club meeting and it was the perfect spot. The place is open with tall ceilings and floor to ceiling windows gave the place such an airy feel. I started off with a great little mocktail. It was super sweet but still delicious. Everyone else in my party seem to like their drinks. The spring rolls were fresh but beware if you don't like spice the sauce that came with it is something you may want to skip great flavor, but way too spicy. My friend got the appetizer roti and it was absolutely phenomenal. I could've eaten the sauce by the spoon full. My tofu pad Thai was really good as well. I'd have to say it was pretty comparable to other Thai restaurants but still was great and the serving was pretty large all in all. I definitely recommend there is a parking garage right behind the establishment and even two more down the road.

I came here with my fiancee for an anniversary dinner. Our cocktails, appetizer and entrees were all very good and our server was awesome. I definitely want to come back for their speakeasy bar Noir, it looked like a vibe.

Loved the service at the bar. The Nothin' But Coconut (Coconut cartel blanco, malibu, coconut water, coconut foam, toasted coconut) was a fantastic drink!

Came here for my birthday dinner with a party of 8 and we undoubtedly loved each of our dishes. Ambiance wise - very modern, upscale yet laid back (didn't feel stuffy), and relaxing with the coastal vibe. Food wise - yall. Best Thai food I've ever had. They had both classic dishes like Pad Thai and fried rices as well as niche and elevated Thai dishes like glass noodles with shrimp. Service was good and they even let us bring my birthday cake for serving which was kind. Can't wait to come back!

The food is really good and the presentation is great. The drinks are delicious. Unfortunately, I went on a Sunday night with a group of 6 and the service was dreadfully slow and all of our checks were messed up.

The spring rolls were easily the standout--fresh, hot, and actually packed with flavor. Everything arrived warm and properly prepared, and the prices were right in line with what you'd expect for Thai food. That said, the pad Thai and fried rice were surprisingly flat. Tough texture and almost no seasoning, which is hard to pull off with Thai food. Even the tofu managed to come through flavorless. After hitting 20+ Thai spots over the years, this one ranks pretty low on the flavor scale for me. Still edible and clearly made fresh, so I'm not writing it off completely. I'd consider it again if nothing else was open and I just needed something solid. Just don't go in expecting big flavor.
