Came right when they opened! Very small mom and pop shop. We got a BUNCH of dishes to share and try everything. Lanzhou noodles were a good staple, personally felt the noodles were a little under and too al dente. I also added extra vegetables to my bowl which is why it's so green. Got the pork ears too, they're good and great texture, however I feel I've had more flavor soaked pig ears before so this was just alright to me. The cucumbers were also good, but again almost just missing that enough flavor part. I actually really enjoyed the cold chicken, that was really flavorful, you have to mix it up to get all the flavor at the bottom. We also got the beef roll and to me it was a little overly sweet with the hoisin. I would consider coming again if I'm really craving pulled noodles but a little miss flavor wise.
Met up with some yelpy friends for dinner. This restaurant recently open in Minneapolis, I've been wanting to try. Parking is harder to find on this busy street so drive around and prepare to walk. No reservations required, we walked in and there was only 1 server working. I felt bad for her, she was running. I told her no pressure, we were still waiting on 1 more person. Restaurant is decorated with blue walls and bamboo, reminds me of the beach. There's a window you can watch them make the noodles and above that shows the different types of noodles. Food was tasty, I would have to come back to try the hot noodle soup. It was too hot outside to have hot soup, I just ordered dry noodles.
We keep coming back. This time we had vegetarian noodle soup and shared some fried spring rolls. Watching chefs make the noodles through the kitchen widow is an added fun!
The interior is very cute, and the staff are super quick and attentive. I think they probably asked to refill my water every time it dropped below 30%. They were constantly scanning for eye contact and would come right up when I was looking at them! As for the food, if you like spicy, you're going to have to ask for more spice There are little chilis on the menu, but I don't think any of it was actually spicy. I loved the noodle customization, you can actually tell it's freshly pulled. I would definitely come back! I took a star off for the lack of spice on multiple spicy dishes, but that's an easy fix!
Amazing food and good service in a no-frills (but comfy) space! We ordered: * Potato salad - crunchy and flavorful * Cucumber salad - fresh and slightly sweet * Sichaun chicken - a cold appetizer with tasty sauce * Garlic stir-fried noodles - my favorite of the noodles we tried! * Lanzhou stir-fried noodles - another delicious option All the dishes were delicious, but the noodles stole the spotlight. As they should!

The top things that came to mind that I still think of to this day include the scallion pancakes, the Thai chili dumplings, and the cucumber salad. Everything was fantastic, all of the hype is real about this place. I'm excited to come back and try other things on the extensive menu! 10/10 would recommend!
I was beyond impressed with my meal at Meet Up Noodle. I was visiting from out of town and was craving noodle soup so I decided to check this place out. I ordered the lamb noodle soup and the portion was huge! There was definitely enough for two people to eat this. I loved how the noodles were freshly made. It was the perfect texture and wasn't under or overcooked. The broth reminded me of a traditional herbal hot pot soup base. It was really comforting and exactly what I was looking for. If you're ever looking for a hot bowl of soup, Meet up Noodle is worth checking out!
I came here on a Sunday evening with my extended family after seeing it recommended here on Yelp and I'm quite glad to have found this place. Because we were a big group I got to try so many different dishes. For appetizers tried the spring rolls, gyoza, and wontons. They were all delicious. The wontons weren't what we expected but were quite tasty. The spring rolls were the star appetizer though. For the main course we had the Lanzhou Beef Noodle, Tomato Braised Beef Noodle, Soy Braised Pork Noodles, Lanzhou Stir Fry Noodles, and the Fried Rice. Sadly for me the Lanzhou beef (my order) was my least favorite. I found it lacking in much flavor. It tasted a lot like the chili crisps that are so popular in the grocery store but not much else. The other dishes were quite good though. The pork noodles reminded me of Ramen. The fried rice was very good maybe even my favorite. The service was a bit slow but kind. It was a small place that was pretty packed at 6. It was kid friendly for my toddler and infant. My four year old especially enjoyed the window into the kitchen where we got to see the chef hand pulling the noodles along with the giant pots for boiling them. I'd definitely like to visit again and try some more dishes. Probably on a cold winter day.
This is an awesome place to enjoy noodles! Freshly made, many choices, and tasty! Plenty of vegetarian options and plenty of noodle choices to experiment with your all-time favorites. Good for the young and old or just to hang out with friends or family. Yes, they serve good tea and no, they don't have alcohol so if you're looking for a buzz, this is not for you but if you're looking for good food, come on in! Friendly staff and they hustle so other customers can enjoy the experience without rushing your table. Absolutely coming back!
Fun watching fresh noodles being pulled! Lots of options for different styles of noodles and good variety of dishes. The tomato braised beef noodle soup was great. It had more flavor than the Lanzhou beef noodle soup. Also ordered the spicy wontons in chili oil which were nice but not very flavorful. Had to add lots of soy, vinegar and chili sauce to amp it up. Fast service and they've turned a modest number of ingredients into lots of different combinations.

There's a window to watch a man make the noodles, fun to watch him! We ordered the spicy chili wontons. Not spicy at all! A little bland and needed some doctoring with more chili oil, vinegar, and soy sauce that's provided at the table. My friend ordered the beef and tomato soup with thin noodles and I ordered the spicy peanut Chongqin soup with hand cut noodles. Broth for both soups were lighter in flavor but the noodles were great. Chewy and bouncy, great texture. I would say that the broths needed "doctoring " as well to adjust to personal tastes but definitely the noodles are the star of the show.
Meet up noodle is located on eat street, so there is street parking all around if you're willing to walk a little bit! It is a sit down restaurant (they also do to go orders) but feels relatively casual! It's a good spot for meeting up with friends or family. At the tableside, there is extra soy sauce, vinegar, and chili oil which is nice so people can adjust things to their own taste! However, I found the items seasoned perfectly and did not need to adjust anything. They have plenty of vegetarian options, and if you ask, they will give you a version of the menu that is annotated to show what is and isn't vegetarian! Some modifications can be made to menu items, and they will let you know if it's something they can accommodate. Different dishes come with different noodle shapes as the standard preparation if you don't specify what you want, but you are able to pick your shape if you'd like. We chose extra wide for both our noodle dishes. The spicy oil noodles would typically come with extra wide noodles and the garlic stir fry would have come with thick noodles if we hadn't specified otherwise! We ordered the spicy fried flatbread pieces, the shaanxi oil splash noodles, and the garlic stir fried noodles with veggies! There is a window where you can watch as the hand pulled noodles are being made, which is fun. The service was speedy, with the food coming out in less than 10 minutes after we ordered, and our water being refilled well before it got empty. For the food, I cannot stress this enough: get the spicy fried flatbread bites! It is so good. The bread is slightly soft in the middle but you get a nice crunch from the edges. The bread has such a good flavor, with five spice and chili peppers. It's not super spicy, so a reasonable option for someone who just wants a little spice. The shaanxi oil splash noodles are another story. They are really good but have more of a kick to them, which is to be expected since they are mostly chili oil and noodles. The mildness of the bok choy balanced the chili oil out well. I really enjoyed this dish and will for sure get it again! The garlic stir fried noodles were also good! It has a slightly tangy umami flavor, mostly driven by the soy sauce and vinegar base. We ordered it with veggies, which came with carrots and zucchini in addition to the bell peppers and tomatoes. While I would also get it again, the oil splash noodles rank higher for me! Overall it was a positive experience and very much worth the visit! For anyone who's read this far into my review, I want to reiterate go order the spicy fried flatbread pieces!!!
Nice place in Minneapolis/Eat Street area for handmade/hand-pulled noodles. The menu has a variety of appetizers, noodles soups, and some desserts.
The good: wonton in chili oil. Was not expecting this to be one of the best I've had! The sauce was the perfect blend of savory spice and I could've drank a bowl of it like a psychopath. I even dipped my bok choy in it rather than the soup. That being said, you may notice there's no bok choy in my picture. That is because they got my order wrong and served me the Lanzhou noodle soup rather than the spicy beef noodle soup. I didn't notice until eating partially through and not finding any bok choy. I'm pretty easy going so I told them I didn't need a replacement, I was just looking forward to bok choy. They brought out a small dish for me which was really nice of them! That being said, I thought the soup was subpar unfortunately. The noodles were great! Definitely seemed and tasted handpulled as advertised. But the broth tasted watered down and lacked flavor or spice. I dumped a heaping spoon of their table chili oil for a moderate improvement. The meat was also not particularly flavorful or plentiful. Unfortunately I don't really have an interest to go back, but I'll give it 3 stars for the service and great wontons! read more

We were excited to try this place! Located on Eat Street, Meet Up Noodles has hand-pulled noodles in many versions from dumplings to soup to stir fry noodle dishes. We loved the noodles but the flavors were sadly, lacking. We had: -spicy wontons in chili oil: I didn't taste any spice but it was tasty after we added add vinegar, chilis in oil and soy sauce that was located on our table -spring rolls: are not spring rolls but egg rolls, so they're deep fried. These were probably our favorite. -sichuan dan dan noodles: I've had dan dan noodles many times but this version is strange. Not much spice and it's very peanut butter tasting. Did not like. -braised beef noodles: again, tasty noodles but no hearty or flavor in the broth. Had to add vinegar, chilis in oil and soy sauce to help add some depth. The service was fine and the food came out quick. The wooden booths and decorations were cute. They don't have a beer and wine menu, which was disappointing. Overall, the noodles are amazing and chewy but the flavors were lacking. read more

These noodles are phenomenal! We split a lamb sandwich as an appetizer, and tried two noodle dishes. The lamb sandwich was a delicious start, a bit oily but so satisfying. The noodle dishes were so delicious and came out so fast, steaming hot, and it was so fun to watch the chefs in the back hand pull the noodles. The service was great as well, very attentive. We had our baby with us, she was able to share some food and small sides, we felt it was quite family friendly. Excited to return and try more noodles! read more
Simply based on the authenticity alone, this place deserves a 5 star even if some dishes taste better than others. Most of the dishes tasted amazingly authentic. They were very quick at serving dishes as well, which was a plus. The overall vibe is like back home in China, and the fact that it's located on Eat Street in Minneapolis also gives it extra points on deserving a visit. Since I have ordered so many dishes, and they all represent the authentic flavors from China instead of novelty creations, I won't talk about how well they tasted, but will simply name a few dishes that I felt like were especially amazing that customers in general need to try: Sichuan Dan Dan Noodles (担担面), Chongqing Spicy Noodles (重庆小面), Century Egg with Silken Tofu (皮蛋豆腐), Braised Beef Noodles (红烧牛肉面), Lanzhou Beef Noodles (兰州牛肉拉面), Spicy Wontons in Chili Oil (红油抄手), and Cumin Lamb Sandwich (孜然羊肉夹馍). Honestly even for the dishes I didn't mention, they were quite great as well. The only dishes that I thought were merely okay were the following: Lamb Noodles in Soup (羊肉烩面) and Milk Egg with Fermented Rice Soup (鸡蛋牛奶醪糟). Overall I do think the dishes don't have enough meat ingredients and too many noodles, but that wasn't uncharacteristic of Chinese restaurants in general, so I was okay with it. Once again, the main highlight of this place was how authentic the food was in representing what one could have from China. The only item I am dying to try, which I hope they'll put back on the menu upon having the appropriate chef to make it, is the Tongguan-style cumin lamb sandwich (潼关孜然羊肉夹馍), as they didn't have it everytime that I visited. read more
This new noodle spot took over the old Cross-Bridge Noodle. But honestly, the vibe feels pretty much the same: simple, cute, and cozy. The coolest part is that you can watch the chefs hand pull noodles right from the lobby. Super fun for kids (and maybe adults, too)! The menu has tons of noodle options and appetizers, and it feels really authentic. The Chongqing Spicy Noodle is probably the closest I've had in Minnesota to the real deal, and the lamb noodle soup was amazing. You can actually taste the effort and time that went into it. My kids went crazy over the pickles... we had to order a second plate right away! The only small miss was the spicy beef noodle. It's not really spicy. But no worries, just add some chili oil on the table and you're set. Service was fast and super friendly. Overall, we had such a great time and can't wait to come back to try more dishes! read more
Fantastic noodles, perfect for warming up in chilly Minneapolis winters! I went here before a show at Icehouse nearby, and it was the perfect pre-show meal. The braised beef noodles hit the spot with a perfect flavor combination. Turns out the band we were seeing also chose noodles for their pre-show meal since they came in shortly after us. Great experience and will definitely be going back! read more
Menu consists of noodles (soup or dry) from various parts of China. Hand pulled noodles comes in various thickness/flat per your liking. It comes with a generous big bowl size. We love the noodles we had and definitely on our to go back again list. read more

This review is for the big chicken noodle dish. While the bowl it was served in was large I still felt like the noodle soups probably are more filling because of the broth. Noodle texture was on point as usual, but I just think this dish does not really command the $20+ price tag. I'll continue to come back here, but I don't intend on getting this dish again. read more

Neat corner restaurant for noodles. Their portion is really big but more on the bland side, perfect for people that prefers less salty. The Braised Beef Noodles and the Lanzhou Beef Noodles taste the exact same. There was only 1 server when I went and she wasn't slow at all. I would definitely go back to try but won't make a special trip. Parking can be tricky since it's street parking only. read more

The food and atmosphere tasted authentic. My meal was really taste! Especially the broth. My friend wanted something vegetarian and that was lacking as a true feasible option here. But besides that, it was tasty! read more

Stopped in for lunch after passing by this place so often. The noodles were delicious, I got seated very quickly, and my food was served after what felt like minutes after I placed my order. I came around 2:30 PM so it wasn't too busy, and is nice and quiet. Hopefully this place gets decent business for lunch and dinner. read more
This place was so good! It's so nice to have a hand pulled noodle place in the Twin Cities. The restaurant is a bit small, but the food makes up for that. The soup was delicious and had a lot of umami with it. The noodles and beef were tender and easy to eat. Our service was quick and easy. Delicious new Chinese restaurant! They took over the spot that crossbridge noodle was at previously. Specialized in hand pulled noodles, the noodle soup was so good. You can pick which thickness of noodle you prefer. They also have dry noodle stir fry options and fried rice. I also got the jasmine tea which had a good strong tea flavor. Only street parking which can be tricky at busy hours. read more

Great new hand pulled noodles here on Eat Street (26th and Nicollet) in Minneapolis. Fresh noodles (see picture of garlic noodles). Great jasmine tea. As well as super friendly and quick service. Saw posted on other social media that they recently opened in this location. So a rainy day in Minneapolis called for a road trip over. So glad we did. Can't wait till we come back. read more

If you feel like you're coming down with a cold, get yourself to Meet Up Noodle right away for a hot, nutritious bowl of the beef noodles in clear broth. It will go a long way toward staving off sickness. You'll get a giant bowl filled with savory broth, thinly sliced beef, radishes and fresh scallions and cilantro, with your choice of noodle thickness. I got the thick hand-pulled noodles, which were nice and chewy. I also got the picked cucumbers, which were mild, refreshing and crunchy. read more
