Delicious . My second time here and I will come back for more. I always order the ground beef kobideh with rice and it's one of the best I tasted so far. Very open and inviting restaurant. We were in the area and looking to eat some bomb ass Schwarma and this establishment did not disappoint. I ordered the beef kabob plate and my son ordered the chicken schwarma sandwich at the counter and took a seat. There were plenty available when we came in at 6 pm. The food is very good and the pita bread is better than at other places. It's not thick and doughy but lighter and with a crunch. Today, it was grilled rainbow trout and it's always well done. Eddie I'm assuming in the owner approached us, was extremely hospitable and offered us a water bottle and for my doggie too. I thought that was very nice. While we were waiting for our food, he brought to our table some salad once the food arrived I was so excited to eat. Decided to give another Mediterranean spot a shot and stumbled upon Mediterranean Grill. YUMMM! If I could give this place 4.5 stars then I totally would. Garlic spread was extremely tasty and I definitely enjoyed the good quality of meat I was served. Generous portions and I even received a free drink upon yelp check in! I wasn't however a fan of the rice and pita bread this place had to offer... Maybe it was a one off day? I think next time I would probably substitute the rice for some more salad or hummus. Friendly customer service and plenty of parking and seating available.There is also a $10.00 minimum for debit card holders. Everyone working behind the counter today was very friendly, but I have to say I have never had worse tasting Mediterranean food in my life. The mujadara was absolutely flavorless. Flavorless!! Perhaps if there had been more caramelized onions to mix with the flavorless lentils and bulgur, it would have been passable, but I received a paltry amount of onions atop a massive mound of UNBELIEVABLY FLAVORLESS lentils and bulgur. Likewise, the falafels were terribly dry, and again flavorless. It seems as though no seasoning, none whatsoever, was used for either dish. The tabouli was not fresh but overly moist and mushy. The parsley had turned that dark wet green color of leafy greens left far too long in the refrigerator. I was terribly terribly disappointed because I was anticipating and craving flavors somewhere within the acceptable range of what I am accustomed to at Middle Eastern restaurants, like Mediterranean Café on Shoppers Lane in Pasadena. Usually get either beef koobideh plate or the combo plate with both koobideh and chicken. Each combo plate mentioned comes with grilled veggies, rice, salad and two skewers of meat.
