Longest wait was at the pickup window. But she didn't ask us to park. I know this location has its issues. My husband says it's the worst on the Beaches. Everytime I go here there are issues. Last time they shorted me an egg mcmuffin and hashbrown, when I brought to their attention they did nothing as I didn't call when I got home, not mastering we had to rush our daughter to the airport. This location near the beach has been improved lately. Service is fast and the burgers and fries are well-prepared. Workers are friendly and attentive. There are outdoor tables that are nice when the weather doesn't get too hot. This is the only fast food on the island since the nearby Wendy's closed. read more

My family and I ate at this location, it was 8 of us and only 2 of us got our orders right. Simple orders, but they managed to get most of them wrong. The absolute worst McDonald's I've ever been to as far as service. I have never been to a slower McDonald's in my life. I pre-ordered breakfast food for three people with my mobile app before I went to pick it up (15 min later) when I pulled into the parking lot and saw the line at the drive-through I was glad I did The line inside was even longer there was only one order kiosk working, and no one was taking any orders at the counter so again I was very glad I had pre-ordered with my mobile app. There was at least eight people working but they all seem to be serving the customers at the drive-through. 40 minutes later, I was still waiting to pick up my two egg, McMuffins and a sausage biscuit I could see my order on their board however, people who ordered using the kiosk , well, after I placed, my order had their orders, jumping ahead of mine on the order board and when I mentioned it after 25 minutes, the manager said we'll get to you. There was nothing fast about this fast food restaurant. In fact, we could've gone to a nice sitdown breakfast and eaten before I even got food they throw in a microwave. When I finally received my food the line to use the kiosk to order was out the door and there was an angry crowd in the lobby. This is a smaller McDonald's located next to ABC liquor, this isn't too far of a drive from the beach. This restaurant looks like it hasn't had an update in 15 years. The cashier took our order very quickly. Our order was not anything complicated, but it took a little while to come out. They do also have tables outside, but most lack an umbrella. First of all, I hate that my first review is a native one, but be that as it may. My wife and I were celebrating our 44-year anniversary. We decided to get a meal on the way into the resort. With not much to choose from, we pick Mcdonald's. We asked for a fresh filet-O-Fish meal, underlining Fresh. What we got was, a fish sandwich that was so cold the cheese wouldn't melt, fries that were so old they were limp. We call the store after this discovery to only be confronted with the manager being so non-accommodating it is a wonder the business is still open. Erica was very nice to us. The food was good, loved the fresh fries and fish sandwich. The ice cream cones were good too! It was easy to order on their app, plus they have good coupons, this time 50% off so nice deal. I like their app, but we do not go here much anymore. They used to have better deals. I love their fish sandwich when it is made fresh. The lady working here Erica was very nice and kind. We appreciated it. I have a myriad of feelings of my trip to McDonald's this evening. I was very excited for the new Grimace for me and my peers. We decided to get 4 shakes. The service was excellent. We were all excited to revive this delicious shake, but the shake machine had other plans. My heart is destroyed. I don't know if my peers and I will go on. Went through drive thru to just get a small cone after dinner (about 8:30) and waited at the mic for a solid 5 minutes with no sound from the staff and then here "pull forward to the second window where I can take your order." So I'm like ok maybe they've got a messed up mic. I'll pull up and just make the best of it. Well they're literally out of all ice cream and milkshakes and desserts. When I entered this "food" establishment, all I could think of is the horrible stench! They keep the trash/cigarette sand thing right outside the door. This automatic fan blows in all of the smell to inside the building. I'm like: WHAT THE HECK! anyways, when it was my turn to order my food the cashier said: you want our special chicken blah blah? I said no thank you and asked for my order (an ice cream come with a side of fries) she said in a very rude tone: THE ICE CREAM MACHINE IS BROKEN. Visiting St. Augustine and stopped here because we were hungry.... Worst customer service, empty store, and a lady that was wearing "uptown management" shirt which I assume was the manager gave my husband the WORST attitude. One of the employees was watching and even question why no one greeted us. Fries were cold and disgusting and I specifically notated that I wanted LIGHT mayonnaise on my burger... that burger was covered in mayonnaise. I don't like to complain about my food because I don't want to risk employees messing with my food so I wiped off most of the mayonnaise and ate it. The "manager" was also talking crap about a coworker or employee at the front counter and talking about the threats she made to them when it happened, all because apparently she had to call out because of a migraine, this is all happening where there are customers that can clearly hear the conversation. She also went on about how she does not get any respect...well you get what you give out. If you are disrespectful to others, they will return it back to you. If she is the manager, she is doing a terrible job being a role model and a terrible job at handling situations correctly. After all this, We now know why they have so many negative reviews. Yes, I was desperate to get something in my body ASAP! I ordered from the dollar menu where I knew I could get a small salad and something sweet for less than 1000 calories....Yikes --- I hate fast food, but when in need go for it. I ordered a salad, and a yogurt and nothing else. I had to give the girl, that spoke broken English at best, a list of salad dressings since they were out of my first, second and third choices during lunch hour rush. Seems like there's a manager that many not know how to order for the summer months in St. Augustine??? I got my salad, went to the beach and opened it up. The lettuce was brown and limp (I ordered the salad at 1:30 pm--when salads should be crisp and fresh). What was more distressing is after I picked all the bad stuff out, and got the bottom of the salad bowl and there was a kernel of corn on the bottom. YIKES again. This made me sick. I knew then that there was NO CARE, standard or work cleanliness for this McDonalds. Won't be going back there anytime soon. P.S.
