Total garbage experience here. First I got my order and my cheeseburger was literally missing the cheese. When I went thru the drive thru to explain the situation, their response to rectify it is that I could come up to the window to get a slice of cheese. First it's a 2 cheese slice burger, second, why should I basically assemble my own burger? Then I was the one who requested that they remake it and I did give them the one that was messed up so it wasn't like I was requesting free food, just a trade for one made correctly. My credit card was having problems, I was holding up the whole drive thru. The worker there was extremely understanding, patient and helpful. I heard on the news today that McDonalds sales are down 3% in the US. The store on Portland Rd always seems busy, so I thought the news must be wrong or maybe this location is just that good. I ordered 2 meals and spent over $20. When I got home I figured out why no one buys from McDonald's anymore. My BigMac had 2 burger patties on it. I use the word patty to be nice. I could actually watch tv through each patty! Where's the beef?! I believe that the American consumer has it figured out. Next time I want to spend over $10 on a meal I will go somewhere that I can get a real meal for that. I'm not blaming the store. The absolute worst service I have ever had. Made a curbside order and waited for 15 mins. (For two sundaes btw) There was barely anyone waiting so we called to ask if it would be ready soon and they said they were working on it. Another 15 mins pass and still no order. We go to the drive through and ask if we can pick it up there and they say that's fine. We proceed to wait in line for 30 mins and when we finally get to the window the guy closes it on us. We wait for a few minutes and he finally opens it and without saying a word hands us the wrong drink. Then he hands us our melted sundaes (that we had to point out to him because he didn't know what order he was on) all without saying sorry for the wait or even saying hello. When we looked inside there was a girl folding happy meal boxes and the manager was just leisurely walking around and sipping orange juice. All together it took us an hour to get two melted sundaes. It hard to satisfy everyone and fast food customers can be demanding and in a rush many times. I was very impressed with Ethan and his outstanding customer service this morning. As we was sweeping and cleaning, he checked for people needing to order, offered to fill drinks, and checked in on others that needed help. Some of the best cusstomer service hands down! On 8/9/2023 I went into this McDonalds to grab a Meal and the team that was working seemed to be in a state of disarray. There were a few people waiting for their order. One person asked where his order was and it was already done and sitting on the counter for about 10 minutes. His order was not hot. I overheard him complain about it. I stood there for over 5-10 minutes waiting to order. Someone in the back looked up at me, but ignored that I was waiting. The crew seemed to be having a great time. They were laughing loudly and and joking around. No one ever did come out to take my order. I finally walked out. This McDonalds has had service issues on and off for years. It seems like a good soultion to this issue would be to hire adults to manage this store. There was another person (elderly gentleman) that had to come to the counter and had wait to ask someone where his order was. The service here is very unprofessional to say the least. read more

Lately the new workers have been taking their sweet time with orders how is it that we have to wait 15+ minutes for FAST food

I gave a 1 simply because there isn't an option for zero. I have kids and occasionally I give in and get them fast food. This location is consistent in getting our orders wrong. The management has front counter people that handle money also serve the ice cream cones. This would be fine if they did not touch the inside of the cone while removing it from the plastic cone bag and then touching the outside of the cone while serving the ice cream. Since corporate McDonald's puts paper on the outside of the bottom of the cone intentionally so that employees do not have to inadvertently pass germs to the customer, you would think that the managers would take the time to have their employees handle the cones in a more hygienic manner. I just don't understand McDonalds... I suppose that's why I haven't eaten here in years. After today, I don't see myself eating at Mickey D's ever again. First of all, the rotating menu. I had to stand there and wait for 4 (?) different menu boards to rotate w pictures, so I asked for a paper menu. Nope. I sat down and looked online. Decided on a buttermilk chicken sandwich. Almost $5. Overly salted, seasoned, breaded chicken patty on a grilled bun, 1 leaf lettuce, 1 tomato round, 1 big GLOB of mayonnaise that I had to spit out. Gross! I also ordered a coffee FRAP... not too sweet please. It was so sweet, I paid for a small drip coffee and poured it in... making the Frap room temp. So, I ordered a cup of ice. Here's what I ordered: Bacon Egg and Cheese Biscuit - Was actually awesome, no complaints. Medium Iced Vanilla Coffee with Extra Vanilla - Forgot the vanilla altogether, was unsweetened. Fruit Parfait - Got charged for two, ended up taking the second one since i paid for it. Two Chocolate Chip Cookies - Got oatmeal raisin instead. I got drive thru so had to just eat it all. Great if you like cheap and normally not really fresh. :( If you want things fresh, you must order things grilled or without salt. And then you must sit in the "loser" spot and wait for them to bring out your food to your car. And yet, your food then will be sloppy and greasy. Yuck!!! read more

The best that I can tell, some management at this McDonald's has customer service in mind. They are helpful, courteous, quick and accurate. This morning, July 1st, was not the case 20 minute wait time, they did not have what I ordered, so I had to adjust what I ordered and then they screwed it up. No apology, nothing.
