We ordered the featured Jalapeño Popper Smash: two smash patties with habanero ghost pepper jack cheese, pomegranate bacon jam, cream cheese spread, serrano aioli, and pickled jalapeños on a toasted pretzel bun. While we waited, we sipped on a well cocktail. The burger was incredible--innovative and very well thought out. The service was prompt and engaging. I can really tell the staff has a passion for everything they do; it's very refreshing and definitely deserves a shot and repeated business!

The pork chop itself is worth traveling out of your way for, and the squid ink pasta and salmon smoked on a wood board are also highlights. The Cozy Taberna lives up to its reputation as one of the best restaurants in Salem.
