Hubby went inside for me, loved how fresh the fires tasted. You can tell they are cooked daily. Thick but not too thick. Seasoned well. The hamburger was delicious. I do love a good burger with fresh fresh lettuce. I do wish mustard was added to my burger but their homestyle sauce is good too! The bun was perfect. I strongly dislike a soggy bun. The bun was toasted lightly :). Will go again, but next time I'd love to go inside. read more

After a long hike at Silver Falls, I had to stop in Silverton for a tasty burger. I came across Mountain Burger, and I'm glad I did. The burger was delicious, and the fries were perfectly crispy. They offer plenty of toppings and condiment options, so you can customize your burger just the way you like it. There's lots of parking, plenty of seating, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. It was a long day of landscape clean up so we were all really tired, very hungry and really anxious to avoid anything that required going out. This place was exactly what we wanted. Certainly met the mark for great quality for the standard burgers, fries and drinks. Takes a bit longer than a basic drive through but what they deliver is solid and a big step up from that drive through experience. It worth a trip out of town to get the quality and the experience of an old-style burger/fries treat. Highly recommended read more

I ordered a cheeseburger, fries, and a milkshake to go. Their milkshakes are always good. Unfortunately, this evening my burger and fries were nearly inedible due to the amount of salt. I barely ate half of my burger (and only did so because I was so hungry) and only ate a few fries. I called and let the restaurant know that whoever was working in the kitchen this evening was very heavy-handed with the salt. They said they would look into it. It's a shame I wasted money on this. By far the best burger I've in a very longer time. Bring you appetite these burgers are huge. Made with real meat not that processed garbage from fast food restaurants. They conveniently have a pick up window if you choose to call in your order. I can't recommend Mountain Burgers enough. 5 stars for a roadside burger joint? Yup. Everything was just right. Friendly service. Good prices. Good iced tea. A burger that made Miki say that the meat was unusually tasty. Hamburger buns that were squishy and held together well in what I would call classic "dirty burger" style, a style popular at unpretentious purveyors of some of the best and often unsung burgers in the US, IMHO. We decided to stop in for a quick bite after our waterfall hike while heading back home. The inside was simple and appeared clean. We ordered three cheeseburgers and upgraded one of the fries to onion rings. Also, got the Neapolitan milkshake and it was tasty, not sure it was worth the price, but prices for most food seem high nowadays. Burgers were good, nothing I would go on and on about, but good with fresh ingredients. The fries could have used a little more salt, but I was able to add a little more at the table, so not a big deal. Onion rings were crunchy and I was happy to have the ranch that was provided with those. Overall, if I was back in area, I would probably stop in again, but I probably wouldn't drive out of my way. read more

Was in Silverton, so we stopped here for lunch due to the high reviews on Yelp. You place your order at the counter and then take a seat. The place was nice and clean. Both had a cheese burger with fries. The burgers were delicious. Served on super soft buns that weren't dry at all compared to most burger joints. They use fresh, never frozen 1/3rd ground beef patties. My wife wanted the smaller "kids" burger, but was told those patties were frozen, so she decided on the fresh patty. The green leaf lettuce and large fresh tomatoes on the burgers were another nice addition. Fries were hot and yummy. At $11.00 each, it is a good value. If I had any criticism, they could season the beef patties with some salt and pepper. Maybe they do, but I didn't taste the seasoning. We will definitely eat there again when in the area. I was happy they had a "vegan burger." I was even happier when they said it was a Beyond Burger, but....next time I would ask for it well done. That burger does not do well unless it is cooked long enough. It doesn't come up to the right everything without the extra cooking time than what they gave it.
