Amazing burger! Friendly and quick service from a little food cart adjacent to a cozy little bar called f/Stop Fitzgerald's Public House. You can eat inside there or there's a shaded outside eating area between the bar and the food cart. I went with the Slangers Style burger, which comes with white cheddar, smoked Oaxaca cheese sauce, Slangers Sauce and fried pickled red onion. I got mine with two patties. This burger was unctuously rich and super saucy. I think, for me, two patties was a bit much. I removed one of the patties and the flavors of all the components came through a bit more pronounced and balanced. So, I would stick with one patty on my next visit. Because I dislike wasting food, I also ate the extra patty by itself, and it was great and well-seasoned. The fries were delicious as well: hearty with bits of potatoes skin and fried to a perfect crispness. I will absolutely be back as this is one of the best burgers I've had in Salem! read more

Buttery burgers from this cute spot food truck in front I think if not mistaken a bar? The fries were so good I had to go get more for myself. We ordered 2 slanger, 1 Italian, and one classic. My favorite is the slanger the crispy fried onions were a great combination. Service was amazing and quick for how much I ordered and not being the only customer. There is seating here . There is parking on the side so it is perfect place to stop if you are coming back from hiking or checking out Salem. The burgers themselves are astounding. The patties with the cheese are juicy, and the burger sauce really completes the flavor. The fries are amazing as well (especially the little bites). I don't even know where to begin with what level this double cheeseburger is at. It's inspiring to me how a chef could take something as simple like a double smash burger and elevate it to such a level that it's an emotional experience. I can assure you one thing, he did not make this on a weekend and then decide he was going to open up a food cart trailer and sling burgers. I would not write this review if there was a remote possibility of that. Instead my guess is he has tremendous passion in culinary and that this was a time-tested many hours of research and development to aspire to create the perfect double cheeseburger. Well he has succeeded! I have eaten many great burgers including the famous Holeman and Finch in Atlanta Georgia. Slangers is at this level of culinary expertise. The Chef makes the bun from scratch, he grinds his own Painted Hills beef, he pairs two perfect cheeses for this masterpiece, he fries the red onion and the best part he has the culinary skills to put it all together for an incredible burger experience! AMAZINGLY delicious and flavorful burgers! We ordered a cheeseburger and a burger with onion rings, we also ordered an extra meat patty on each and an order of fries to share. There is an outside dining area with a gas fire pit as well as other seating available. Inside is a quaint bar area and several other rooms available for more quiet dining. Very excited to try Slangers for the first time after all the great reviews. Ordered early online to pick up shortly after they opened. Very pleasant young lady was at the counter and wait was minimal as they prepared my food. Unfortunately, once I got home, both burgers had buns burnt black from too long on the grill and ruined the taste of both burgers. If your niche is fresh made buns, why would you send buns that have been burned black out the door? I love a toasted bun but burned black is not good. Wife says no need to go back again.
