    Pork belly Benny.

The food was very good, we had the pork belly Benny, French toast Benny, and the seasonal salad with chicken. Serena was our server and she did a great job with our bar order as well as our food order. This is a huge space with high ceilings and chandelier.

    Quesabirria burger! So good 9/10

Knew it would be 5 stars from the first 60 seconds after we walked in (proof that first impressions DO matter). We came at an odd time (late lunch/early dinner), so we had the whole place to ourselves. The staff treated us like good friends and even turned on the fireplace just for our family. Also the Christmas decorations were gorgeous! Food was great, very flavorful. I love quesabirria tacos, so of course I had the quesa birria burger, which was insane in the best way possible. So cheesy and meaty, and it tasted great dipped in the consume. I'm picky about fries but these were GOOD. I insisted in trying everyone else's pick (for science!) and everything was top notch Beautiful, intimate little restaurant with very tasty food. Highly recommend.

The Magnolia Grill is a beautiful little restaurant. I was looking for something quick to-go so I could get to a nearby excursion, and I fortunately stumbled upon it. While I waited for my order of AMAZING brisket tacos, I looked around the dining and bar area. Some places have a " je-ne-sais-quoi ", and Magnolia's got it. It's a nicely designed space; I wish I had more time so I could have enjoyed dining in. I believe it was the restaurant manager who took my order at the bar. She was so friendly, professional and helpful. I took my tacos and lemonade to go. Wholly Moly! They were delicious. I highly recommend Magnolia if you're in the area. Enjoy!

We have been sitting for 45 minutes and haven't even gotten water. We are here to celebrate a birthday. It isn't fun. The food is good. Service is ridiculously terrible. It would be comical if I wasn't hungry. We talked to two waitresses. Finally we received water, which is nice after watching other people wet their palates while we shrink from dehydration. I don't know, just don't come here if you want food at a decent pace. It's a nice place if you like to watch other people get their food and drinks.

Stopped in for dessert. Friendly and quick service. The desserts were amazing. Although I didn't eat a full meal what I saw at other tables looked great.

Dry overcooked salmon with terrible beurre blanc and an asparagus so large and tough you couldn't eat but the 1st 4" of the top

I've had seven plus meals here including dinner, happy hour and Sunday breakfast brunch. In my opinion the Breakfast Brunch was probably the only time that I was truly excited. The marginal experience for the price paid for dinner left less than desirable feelings. It's not that the food is horrible, but when you're paying $29 to $35 for entrees you have an expectation. Their chicken in the Alfredo is great, but the fettuccine alfredo sauce itself is horrible and the portion is ridiculously small. Not one single plate had perfection. When you're serving asparagus, don't include the white part on the bottom because you can't eat it. And for $30 don't expect me to figure out which part is tough and then make the determination to cut it. That's the job of the chef. The beurre blanc was not good and the salmon was so dry it was difficult to eat. I did not take pictures of every single food item that I ordered, but I've included a few of the dishes that I've talked about. Their fish tacos were amazingly good, but then they serve onion rings that are obviously store bought. This chef is all over the board and I actually think hes got some talent, but he needs to pick a direction. That and I don't think he has a complete staff that is capable of execution.

We celebrated our 8th Anniversary this evening at Magnolia. This was our first time dining at Magnolia. We had a great experience. Great customer service, food, and atmosphere. Our only negative observation was that the acoustics were just a bit loud. It's definitely not bad enough to make our review less than 5 stars.

The special: Flank steak with shiitake mushrooms, mashed potatoes and asparagus
    Tiffany D.

Definitely a worth a try if you're you find yourself in Silverton! I ordered the special which was delicious. I also heard the burger was great too. The rotating cocktail flight, which was lemon drop themed was also great. The downside was service, but it could have just been the person we got and not a reflection of the entire staff. We ordered the Queso Fundito appetizer (delicious) at the same time as our drinks. After waiting 20 minutes and finally our waitress came back around, we asked. There was a "miscommunication with the kitchen" but she offered to comp it which was nice. At the end of the meal we weren't offered a dessert menu or if we wanted dessert. However, I definitely would go again. They have a great HH menu.

There are not a lot of other dining options in the area, so Fireside is a pretty easy choice. The food is just OK. Definitely stuff that is mass-produced and heated on-site. Prices are mercifully low, so one doesn't feel as though they've been ripped off. There is a big selection of non-alcoholic beverages, which I appreciated. The real standout here was the friendliness of the staff. Everybody I interacted with was very friendly and helpful. There was a band playing during my visit, and they seemed to be as "bar band" as bar bands get. I was the only person who applauded after each song, which was weird to me. I'd have hoped that staff, at least, would have applauded as well.

In the last couple of visits, though, it's different. My past history here prevents me from giving it a 2-star review. I know there has been a management change, and it shows. Some of my favorite staff have departed, seeking greener pastures. The reason for this review now is my most recent purchase ... a $17 glass of Pudding River Pinot Gris. When I found out the price as I cashed out, I felt robbed. I can drive less than 9 miles away and buy a whole bottle for $25. My previous glass of wine that evening was an $8 chardonnay from another local winery. I figured the Pinot Gris couldn't be much more than the Chard, especially one from Pudding River, which I've personally visited so I know their bottle prices. So, before you buy anything at the Fireside Lounge, ask the price. Don't be surprised (aka robbed) as I was.

The flavors were kinda all over the place. Only one of the three actually tasted good. The fig jam bruschetta had wayyyy too much jam and sweetness. We were recommended their seasonal "Strawberry Fields" and it was disgusting. The cheese tasted a little sour. I know bruschetta boards are about trying new things and different flavors but it was very disappointing. As for the pizza, they are personal sized thin crust pizza. The pizzas were good and tasted fresh, but the crust is so thin that it falls apart picking it up. I got the "Brought the Farm" pizza and they threw a pile of arugula on top. I kind of expected it to be mixed or baked into the pizza. The mangonada slushie was really good but the wine slushie was awful. This place is definitely a social brunch & snacking type of place and not an actual lunch spot. It was very expensive to feed everyone individually. But the staff was really friendly and attentive overall.

Our party of 4.5 was lucky to snag a spot on a typically busy Saturday morning; we must have hit the "sweet spot" because we arrived just before the line formed. A typical wait is 20-30 minutes for a table on weekends, but the food and service make it well worth it. We were greeted and seated quickly, and I really appreciated being offered a choice of seating. We opted for a booth, which worked perfectly for our little one in a booster seat. What made the visit truly special was the owner playing peek-a-boo with my grandson--such a sweet, personal touch that shows how much they care about their guests! The Diner is well-known for its boozy breakfast options. Our table enjoyed a Bloody Mary, Boozy Mimosas, and a Tequila Sunrise. All the drinks arrived quickly and were enjoyed tremendously. For the main course, we ordered: Breakfast Sandwich: Served on a soft, fluffy muffin with bacon and a perfectly cooked egg. Pork Chili Verde (Special): Served over cheddar grits with fresh salsa, crème fraîche, and crispy tortilla chips. Absolutely INCREDIBLE! Chicken Fried Steak: A family favorite that resulted in a "clean plate" as usual. Crispy Chicken Club Sandwich: Another lovely, solid meal. Another fantastic visit with great food and even better service. We will definitely be back!
