Okay so I got DoorDash because I'm sick, and I'd never tried a cheesesteak, so I gave this place a shot. I'm not disappointed, holy cow. I got the Philly and some ultimate fries, I'm so happy. Can't say much about the vibes and service of the restaurant itself due to me being at home, but the food is definitely a treat, and the prices, especially for DoorDash, pretty darn good. Had a double lamb burger it was fantastic, the owner is friendly and service rocked, would definitely recommend.

Had the chicken california for lunch, have to say not thrilled. Looked great so visual give you a 4 out of 5. Taste 2 out of 5 here is why, your chicken lacked any flavor, the ranch that dropped on the paper lettuce and tomato had the only flavor. So need less to say would have been better as a salad than a sandwich. Maybe if the Boss orders again I can get him to get 3 of the 6 as Kimchi cheesesteak sandwich that should be packed with flavor guess next time we will find out if this chicken California was just a bad idea or not. read more

Given that there are only 3 Charleys restaurants in Oregon, I'm glad one is near me in Salem. The teriyaki chicken sandwich is delicious! I ordered it with a side of cheese fries and a peach lemonade. All of the ingredients were fresh, tasty, the meat to veggie ratio was perfect, fries were warm and cheesy, and the lemonade was refreshing. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the overall value of the food was very reasonable. Plus they offer a coupon by taking a survey for a free fries $ drink. 5 stars. One of the reasons I go to this shopping center. It's just too racy to order and they have no shortage of visuals to entice you. That open face kitchen calls you as the aromas make you open your wallet! They get it done fast and fresh and sometimes that's just what you need when shopping at a mall! What the eff happened? Depressed cashier. Fry girl handed me a cup of fries with one of her two-foot-long black hairs intertwined with fries. When I handed it back, all she said was ,"Good eye!" No apology. Nothing. Fry girl also filled tiny portion cups of cheese with huge ladle. Cheese all over outside of cup. Sandwiches were dry and flavorless. Not good at all. The weird thing is I'm still here, I ordered my food asking for a combo, large at that, got a regular drink... charged for a large. Ok .... she asked me what I wanted to drink three times, three times I answered regular coke.... got Diet Coke.. then I proceeded to wait forever for fries, a person two people behind me in line got theirs before the person in front of me or I received our fries. Very good subs and very great service. Wouldn't really recommend getting the gourmet fries with the extra stuff added on or the chicken Philly. You simply can't beat the steak sandwich. I enjoy their strawberry lemonade as well. Their food leaves you satisfied every time. read more

Review on the "gourmet fries" Fries +cheese+bacon+ more cheese. How can I describe it? It's now awful nor great. There is like 4 tablespoons of cheese in these fries. That much cheese cant be good for you and the cheese reminds me of the fake cheese used in concessions. The cheese did harden after getting cool but not plastic like yet. The fries has so much cheese it is like soggy, I rather eat a double bake potatoe. The fries are good, so I think in the future I would just get fries not gourmet fries. Ordered through doordash. Doordash was great, but my sub was awful. It cost me more than $16 for a large grilled veggie delivered. It was thrown together, half the bread had nothing on it, and what was on the other half was sad and just thrown on. NEVER AGAIN. Maybe if I picked it up myself they would have made more of an effort. read more

The male cashier was SUPER nice and friendly even though they were really busy and there was only 2 of them.
