I had a PET scan in Albany for which I had to fast on this day and have zero carbs the day before. When we left the hospital my kid said, can we have lunch now? ( poor thing waited from 12:30 until 4 while I was in the scan). Yes? Barbecue? NO! Burgerville! (which we don't have at the coast). Ok. ( putting brisket dreams aside, sigh). We got 2 colossal burgers, a diet coke, a seasonal marionberry milkshake, onion rings ( huge, and expensive) and fries ( smallllll). I didn't specify size on those two things I was tired. OOPS. I can't speak to the brand, but this location is garbage... I ordered multiple burgers and fries and asked for fry sauce. Normal intelligence would assume one sauce per fry order, yet when I got home, there was only one in the whole bag. On top of that, my drive home was only 5 mins, and somehow, when I got there, the burgers were cold. If you live in Albany, drive to Salem. They just put in a bunch of new ones, and your money would be better spent there. The staff was amazing. Very helpful with menu questions. I love burgers available all day long . I ordered the quarter pound truffle burger. It was amazing in a perk shake . The food arrived promptly and cooked fresh and perfect temperature. The restaurant was spacious, very clean. The heating set was perfect. Was it too hot? With over 40 locations in Oregon, I figured Burgerville would be the place for me to try while traveling through Oregon. They had some things on their menu that caught my eye, like the rosemary fries. After trying it, we were left wondering if we should've went to McDonald's. My wife didn't like her crispy halibut sandwich. My daughter tried their northwest burger, but, didn't finish it. I ordered their original burger. The orginal burger was so small that I finished it in 4 bites and had to go back in to get another one because I was still hungry. The rosemary fries were different and good. Well, not good. I an order of their onion rings, nothing special plus they were dripping grease. They were so grease soaked that the grease soaked through the container and the bag that the container was in onto the seat of my car. They were nasty and the the breading slipped right off the onion so I ended up with a bunch of breading and a bunch of onions. read more

The only reason this place deserves 2 stars is for the coconut bliss shakes, which are amazing. We stopped during a lunch rush today, and got two burger, two fries, a shake and a drink, the line was long and we waited. I don't mind waiting in line usually because that means food isn't sitting around in warming bins. Not the case here. We unwrapped and started eating less than 60 seconds after getting our food. One burger was lukewarm and had black lettuce on it. The other burger was cold, and the cheese had started to congeal. (Picture posted). The fries were half and half.. some hot and fresh, other hard and cold. The shake was supposed to be caramel sea salt and it had a drop of caramel, no discernible sea salt. But, it was coconut bliss which is good no matter what. People always say how burgerville is better than in n out, and the best fast food burger but definitely not my experience. Everything was cold, they said they ran out of patties so "had to cook a frozen one" and would bring the rest of the order out to the car. After waiting and our coffee being forgotten twice we went inside and everything got so incredibly worse from there. I have to say that the burgers here are absolutely delicious! Now, as a California native, I wouldn't say that it surpasses that of In-n-Out, but it's a pretty good darn burger! I ordered the pepper bacon cheeseburger, which comes with Tillamook cheddar (one of my fav cheeses), dressed in mayonnaise, onions, pickles, tomato, and lettuce. The flavors were spot-on. Only drawback is that if you want to make it a "basket" -which is basically combo meal with a drink and fries- it can be pretty pricey. However, for a good vacation meal, I would have to say that it's worth it. Take advantage of their holiday special flavors. I normally do there drive through and get good service but the last couple of times I didn't care for the drive through, they are starting to ask for a tip. There boss needs to up there pay some.
