Burgers were double patties, so I guess 8 ounces pre-cooked weight. All was well assembled and tasted nice. Lotsa little bitty pieces in the fries. Good flavor and lots of salt. With a tip, $37. I always eat across the street at Carl Jrs. Thought I would try here. $10 burger. This must be really good. The bun was way to small for the burger, soft and soggy once all the juice was soaked up. It would help if the toasted that bun and it was larger. The meat was undercooked. Mushroom and onions wew good, but too much juice for a handheld burger. So let me start put by saying this is opening day/night today. I would of done a star less if if was a location that has been open for awhile. My wife ordered her burger in a bowl and loved. Her fries were amazing also. Now my son and I ordered shakes, which were really awesome also. Both of us ordered a bacon cheeseburger, now both had way to much bacon (yes I know those words are blasphemy), but they gave us bacon pieces/crumbles that were over cooked and hard. I asked for mushrooms with extra mushrooms, I ended up with 5 mushrooms and a crap ton of crappy bacon pieces. They also added a sauce I didn't ask for that was meh. Overall I think it will get better after they are open for a bit. The only other negative was there was so many people inside standing shoulder to shoulder. Which isn't the greatest during COVID times, that and it was all OSU students who have the bulk of our local cases. read more

The food products and the employees on the floor are GREAT. This is constructive criticism: the online ordering system is not working AT ALL. Ordered online for curbside. Called from the curb, they said come in and wait for your name to be called. HAHAHAHA! BUT! they do not actually start making your order until you check in, which they do not say you need to do. Ordered online at 2:17, finally complained and got some food at 3PM. Manager was very professional but the ordering system is a complete failure the owners need to fix. Orders went out to people walking in after me. Several other online orderers were in a similar bind, waiting forever for their name to be called. Kid bagging the food was calling numbers, even for online orders that do not KNOW their order numbers. I had to tell bagger this, which I figured out in 5 seconds. He then started looking for names on tickets. ugh. 1. Adjust the timing--promising asap orders in 10 minutes was a promise you were never going to keep. 2. Fire the ticket as soon as the order comes in for ASAP orders--your customers are driving a max of 15 minutes across Corvallis to pick up food. Drop the fries and put the patties on the flat top, yo. See if you can get the time down to 20 minutes from ticket print to hot food in a bag. 3. Don't have cashiers answer the phone; they are busy nonstop taking orders in the store. Have a dedicated staff member running on-line orders to the curb, or at least transfer one to this duty when the tickets pop up. I briefly spoke to the owner's wife opening week, she was busy wiping down tables and said online ordering would not be turned on until they got the opening kinks worked out. Ownership might leave table spritzing to employees and fix the UTTERLY BROKEN ordering system. No one wants to wait in a crowded restaurant for 45 minutes for a burger, especially with covid. read more

First trip to newly opened location. Food I had the bacon cheeseburger w/ small fries. Burger patties were a bit on the dry side, but still a good flavor. Bacon was well done but not too done. Toppings were fresh (lettuce/tomato) Bun was ok. The top bun broke apart making it more of a mess to eat. A bit dry and not elastic enough to hold together without coming apart. Fries were great. Crispy on the outside and soft inside. Price A little steep. I payed ~12 for the double patty cheeseburger with small fries and no drink. Atmosphere Very clean, but the noise was awful. I'm not talking about the crowd, even though it was a bit busy. I don't know what they're trying to prove with the music level but with masks and plastic guards and the FULL VOLUME music I could barely get my order in. I like Five Guys ok. The food is alright and they offer a couple of vegetarian options which helps. The fries are good, too. My complaint is the fact that the tables are always dirty. I love five guys. But this location just opened up this year and I get it that they may be slow on the service at first but they are really slow. Almost 30 min sometimes from order to walking out the door. Tonight I walked in and there were 4 people behind the counter. When I was picking my door dash orders, I noticed that the place was super dirty. Also the staff play the music super loud that it was hard to hear them call out the orders and they were having trouble hearing the customer orders. The staff did not look happy to be there and always looked super annoyed. Will only recommend this place if you can handle loud music and a dirty environment. read more

I went to Five Guys once and had a terrible experience so won't be going again. It is very noisy so you can't hear your order is ready. The milk shakes were made right away and than sat while they finished the order. Needless to say the milk shake was chocolate milk when I got it. The hamburgers are ok but not worth the money. Fix your app. // Update: finally got food at 1:50. Turns out they don't make your food for a web order until you go up to the counter and "check in" thus completely defeating the purpose of a web order! Nowhere on the app or in the restaurant is this stated. If I wanted to come in, wait in line to get to the counter, check in and then wait for my food to be made I would do that. Still I was pumped because I can wait for a 90$ refund. Come to find out my order was in line and I got it a Minute later. I was confused because since covid and everything else you learn to expect bad service. There had been nothing wrong with the service and this guy comes in refunds and said it's his store and it wasn't running to his expectations. Two thin patties that were overcooked and dry. Crumbly, too-thin bun. Too-thick tomato slices. Too much mustard. Limp iceberg lettuce. Bland American "cheese". Messy to eat and less than enjoyable. With good local alternatives like Cheesy Stuffed Burger or Burgerville around, I can't see ever coming back. read more
