So... I eat there occasionally. I don't remember the previous times very well? Obviously they weren't exactly bad, or I wouldn't have been there recently. But in BOTH of the recent times, I have been REALLY HAPPY with my food. The fries were hot both times, the mac, cheese, and chicken were correct and hot both times... everything was perfect. I ordered in advance, and the order was ready soon after I got there both times. I gave them the order to not cook it immediately, and they tried to time it according to the time I gave them, instead of cooking it as soon as the order came in, which is EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED THEM TO DO. They are quickly becoming one of my go-to options. I love southern food, so that plays into it? But I couldn't have asked for more. The prompt above asks for "an ambiance mention"... I don't know what people are expecting from a fast food chain. If this were a Michelin three-star restaurant, I wouldn't be pleased? But for fast food it is GREAT. I don't know why I think the customer service or wait times for this location will improve but it hasn't! Ordered a huge family meal to feed the household on a slow Friday night. Thought I would give the online app to order ahead and went through the drive-thru only to have the disgruntled employee inform me that they do not help any online orders through the drive-thru and I would have to come inside. Which is fine, no big deal. I understand how handing an order through the window is difficult. Besides, when customers are asked to wait inside the drive-thru line doesn't get backed up and the store can take its time with orders. When I parked and entered there are also 4 other groups of customers waiting for their order, so it seems like this is a consistent issue... Even though the KFC app said it would be ready at 6:20, i didn't get my order until 6:53, over 50 mins since I initially placed the order on their app. So clearly it's not beneficial to use their app, since the employee informed me that they can't make the chicken any faster. It seems that the store doesn't even start the order when I placed it 50 min ago, so the app syncing the time to when it's ready is wildly inaccurate. Overall, I would not recommend this location for any orders, big or small. The crew seems uninterested, slow to finish any task, and unapologetic when discussing backed up ticket times. Staff has told me this location owns multiple locations nearby, so it is evident that the franchise owner has no interest in customer service, food quality, or providing any semblance of timely orders. Twice I've been to pick up take out orders from this location and I was told that they're working on my order, only to find out 20+ mins later that my order had been sitting there ready the whole time. Food was like warm and soggy by that time. It's not bad, but it's not great either. Factoring in the idea that it's fast food it's doing better than some places. However I do wish this location had the crispy skin option as it's usually cooked more thoroughly and tastes better IMO. grabbed $40.10 worth of chicken at the Corvallis KFC last night, at 8:15 PM, for a family gathering. Nobody could gag it down when we got home. Nasty aftertaste, like very old oil. Too late to drive 30 mins last night to return it, the place was closed by then, so we threw it in the fridge and I attempted to exchange it for edible chicken after work today. The Corvallis restaurant refused to exchange it for edible chicken. So I left the skunky chicken there and called KFC corporate to describe what happened. The best they said they could do was a $20 voucher to be mailed in a week or so. So we are out $20 and no food for the grandkids when they arrive today. KFC in general, and the Corvallis KFC in particular, no longer on our list of acceptable dining options. read more

Disappointing. Place online order for pickup. Had to wait with employees ignoring me. Food on the counter in the GrubHub pickup area, no ID as to whose order. I finally ask a young lady if it was my food, she says she thinks so. I ask for confirmation as I do not want to take someone else's food. She does not know what to do, does not want to bother "manager" who is working the drive thru window. Finally he comes over, cannot confirm, goes into computer and asks what I ordered. No receipts are given ( decision of the owner not to give receipt for online order). Get home, order is wrong, missing items, and not very tasty. Very poorly managed store. read more

We will not be back. Wanted 16 pcs for Father's Day which should have included 4 each breasts, thighs, legs, and wings. No one there so they can't blame it on "busy." Instead we got 3 thighs and the rest LEGS! No breasts and no wings. What a downer. The receipt listed items correctly but the bucket was a mess. I don't care for having their mashed potatoes & gravy, I would rather have biscuits. Every other time I have gone to this particular store they have exchanged my potatoes and gravy from the meal with one or two extra biscuits. I went there this time and was told that I could only exchange for some other side because it already comes with a biscuit. I ended up getting the potato wedges, but I didn't eat them because they didn't taste good. I would understand their reasoning this if the biscuits cost more than the sides, but the biscuits, for two, are 65 cents cheaper than the sides. Even at that, I would pay extra just to get the biscuits if they were more expensive than the sides. Thumbs down for this establishment. read more

Actually I'd give this about 2.5 stars. One of the few fast food chicken chain restaurants around. They've got variety in how they prepare it, I'll give them that. Sometimes, it feels like I'm paying more for a thick, greasy chunk of fried batter with a little bit of chicken and a huge chunk of bone than anything else. I do appreciate the variety, but for plain old fried chicken, I've found that I can get better at the Safeway Deli counter. That being said, their biscuits, mashed potatoes and gravy, and coleslaw are some of the best. The biscuits taste homemade. The potatoes are flaked obviously, but it's the gravy that gives them their awesome taste. And the coleslaw, in my opinion, is fantastic! read more

My elderly husband was hungry for drumsticks for his Father's Day dinner. He no longer drives so I ordered online then jumped in the car in my slippers, gardening pants and no bra and headed for the drive thru. I waited in a rather long line and when I got to the window, the young lady said I had to come inside to pick up the 4 drumsticks. It seemed ridiculous to me and I argued with her. I considered driving away, but they were for my husband so I drove around, parked and went inside. The inside wasn't even open for business and my order was sitting on the counter. That part worked out OK, despite it being ridiculous that she couldn't hand it out the window. The worse part was when I got home and opened the box the there were the puniest little legs I've ever seen, one of which was overcooked to the point of being shriveled up. The tab was $11.38!!!! The best chicken anywhere. I've had chicken from Fred Meyer, Safeway (always underdone), and Winco (rehashed frozen). No comparison to the consistent quality of KFC. I will always go for KFC first as long as I can afford it. Prices are higher than others but in my opinion it's worth the extra. read more

We ordered biscuits and Mac and cheese and corn, this dude didn't give me any butter or utensils to eat said food. While it wouldn't have been a big deal normally, I was off to work where the closest utensils were two blocks away. So thanks guy, for making this meal harder to eat than it should have been. I have been to this KFC multiple times, both in the drive though and in the restaurant and have never gotten my order back correctly. Last night was particularly bad though. After ordering with my friends, it took 20 minutes for my meal to come out. Mind you, we were the only ones in the restaurant. I went up to ask about my order and they were surprised it hadn't come out yet. Another 10 minutes passed before I finally got my meal, making me late to my meeting. For KFC's this place is above average. The chicken was fresh fried and not greasy. I'm from CA where biscuits usually have an odd margarine smell and this place did not have that and indeed tasted homemade. Service was good as well. The only thing I would suggest is to ask for extra napkins and sauce. I only received 4 napkins for a 7 piece meal. Not the best time to be stingy in napkins. I'll come back again... read more

Told tonight we have to buy a #7 which includes a soda and cookie and then pay additionally for the coleslaw even though we take neither the soda nor cookie. I have always loved KFC for years. But when I go into this KFC location there are two young men that always make me feel wanted as a costumer. Jacob and Miguel are there names. Went to KFC after a very long day, and the manager took my order & workers helped her get the rather large order ready in a timely manner. I looked around, and noticed I was the only one there, so I asked when they close. The manager said a few moments ago. (Summer hours) I promptly said I'm so sorry about coming in so late, right before they closed! I wasn't aware of the time after having such a hectic day. She said no problem, she would stay there even if we wanted to eat there, that's what they are here for. (We got it to go) Wow!!! These days, it's very hard to find such nice people, who care about customer service. We usually Never eat at KFC, because of the service, price and poor food quality. I must say, the food was good, not greasy, customer service was awesome & although, it was pricey...we will be back because of the Manager that night! read more
