Came into town to visit OSU again and already had planned our visit here because it was SOOOOO tasty the first time! The girl taking orders was very friendly and patient while we decided what we wanted to eat there and what we were taking on the road for our drive back home. We ordered five sets of cinnamon sugar waffles and two sets of the #1 classic. We devoured two cinnamon sugar waffles and decided to order one more cinnamon sugar for the road. The cinnamon sugar waffles were just as tasty as we remembered. Later when we stopped we gobbled down the classics- eating them like chicken waffle sandwiches...so yummy!!! Word on the street is they are selling frozen waffles in stores and will be on OSU's campus... not sure if they will be frozen for OSU, freshly baked and have a pop up shop or more permanently situated there. While there they had a good number of OSU students who wandered down the steps and ordered so they must have heard how delicious the food is. I also truly appreciate they don't price gouge for their food. The costs are reasonable for the amount of food you get!! With so many companies being greedy thank you for making costs affordable while also earning enough to continue cranking out yummy food! If you want chicken OR waffles, you NEED to go here!! This is the chicken spot that Corvallis was missing and we cannot recommend it enough! Their restaurant is a little confusing to find at first but if you read through some other reviews or go to their website you can easily find it. Their spicy chicken sandwich was delicious! The fried chicken was tender and the waffles were so light. Would definitely recommend.

I've only ever ordered the original chicken and waffles here, and it's so good. The chicken is well breaded and seasoned, and everything in the menu is dairy free! Their waffle is also unlike other chicken and waffle spots. I think this spot uses some glutinous rice flour in their waffles, which give them a bouncy texture. I haven't quite figure out what it is about the waffles, but I keep coming back for more! This spot is takeout only. I highly recommend eating the meal as soon as you pick it up. We were in town for a regional swim meet and had to find a place for lunch. It was incredibly good. As per another review, the entrance is through glass doors and down the stairs towards a night club (the night club obviously was not open at 1:30 in the afternoon) and just a few steps down a hallway. Food is to-go but there were a couple of tables in the main entrance area that is shared with the gated off night club. The food was amazing. Could not tell that it was gluten free! I had the spicy chicken and they put a plain waffle sandwich together for my son. The chicken was thick and juicy, breading flavorful and crisp. The waffles were a great texture and had a hint of sweet. The woman working there was super friendly and accommodating. Fresh chicken and waffles in about 5 minutes. Delicious food served adjacent to an abandoned club. Was flooded 18 inches of water and closed for 7 weeks, but they still kept amazing service. Overall there was a peaceful atmosphere, and it was nice and secluded. You have to find your way down a flight of stairs to get to it, which might explain the flooding, but it's cool even in summer. We stopped in Corvallis just to go here and were not disappointed! Amazing chicken and waffles.

The food here is absolutely amazing, served by equally delightful people. This husband and wife duo are warm, incredibly eager, and assist in passing the very short wait time with easygoing conversation. They're quick to share stories, and are very welcoming. Now, the food they serve? Fluffy Belgian waffles with a twist. I have now ordered the bacon waffle which comes with a side of bacon. I didn't realize the bacon waffle actually has bits of bacon inside of it. The bacon is thick and has a phenomenal flavor to it. It takes the waffle to the next level. I've also ordered the spicy chicken and waffle. This waffle is plain (no bacon), and the chicken is breaded with an interesting spice blend on top. It isn't overly powerful, but nicely spicy. The syrup provided does a good job of balancing out the spice. Overall, I will go again (and again). It's one of my favorite restaurants here in Corvallis. I will say, though, the hard part is finding it. It's actually in the basement on 4th St. It's worth adventuring down there to find it! read more

When you're first walking in it does seem like the type of place you go and get your organs removed and sold on the black market, but it's all worth it when you get some incredibly crispy and fresh fried chicken with fluffy waffles and delicious syrup! I've eaten here many times already because it is so good. They had me from the first time because they put crumbled maple bacon in the bacon lovers waffle!
